- inactive, on 07/25/2008, -5/+19Eh. I wont hold my breath for this one. If it's good, then I'll see it, if it's just ok, I'll pass. The special effects looked a little... cheap. The brief glance we got at the acting suggested that it might just be par, nothing special. Also, the spinning shooting thing from the ceiling looked very Boondock Saints, only when they did it it was both hilarious and badass at the same time.

I hear the Punisher, Elektra and Luke Cage, complete with tiara and yellow billowy shirt, team up at the end to fight Stilt Man and Klaw in the ***** jungles of South America. A dinosaur shows up halfway through the fight and eats Klaw. Incidentally Luke Cage says "Sweet Christmas!" Right before the dinosaur can fill up on Punisher, Thanos arrives in a spaceship and vaporizes the dinosaur. It seems he needs the Stilt Man for his Intergalactic League of Nefarious Intent, thus setting up the third Punisher movie "Punisher: Punishment Beyond the Stars."

Things were going so well for them when Iron Man came out, then the Hulk did better than the first, but still not spectacular, and this Punisher movie doesn't look any better. Maybe I'm just spoiled from Dark Knight, but I was not at all impressed. I expect a crappy trailer from a generic action movie, but I expected more from Marvel. I'm very disappointed.
