He was trained by NINJAS! - gametavern, on 07/16/2008, -5/+102Can this movie be too hyped and produce disappointed movie-goers? We all know it will be good, but we're starting to expect the second coming of Jesus.
- Merb, on 07/16/2008, -3/+95oh come on...i'm as psyched as anybody, but this guy is talking like it's a 2 hour orgasm
- inactive, on 07/15/2008, -3/+79so pumped.
- 69sofine, on 07/16/2008, -0/+51My plan: lure you out of line with snacks and steal your spot.
- X9001, on 07/16/2008, -1/+41Ledger will rise again on the third day of the movies release!
- dthebear, on 07/16/2008, -10/+41my plan: get really high, and go see it on IMAX
- Nick22, on 07/16/2008, -1/+29Less awesome, though that would be interesting. Ninja trained batman VS. Pirate trained batman.
Batman 3 perhaps? - mrblue182, on 07/16/2008, -4/+31Dear god I hope it is. I have never been this pumped for a movie in my life.
- Quaterni0n, on 07/16/2008, -5/+31Imagine how much more awesome he'd be if he had been trained by pirates!
- mverta, on 07/16/2008, -4/+29I saw this movie in IMAX last night.
It's VERY good; it is NOT the greatest crime drama ever, etc. Is it the best superhero movie ever? Not for me... not at all. I liked Iron Man better. Hell, I liked the original Superman better. But is it a great superhero movie, yes. It's also 1/3rd too long, with an entire subplot which goes nowhere and doesn't resolve that could've been trimmed. Now Ledger is great... Oscar great? Um.. When I think Oscar I think of Anthony Hopkins' Lecter, and by that comparison: close, but... one thing that's nice is that he only gets better as the film goes on. By the end, he certainly has that quality where everything he does seems interesting.
I was going to wait for this, because I don't like all the hyperbolic ass-licking going on, but I got a free screening invite, and honestly, I'm glad I went. It's totally worth seeing in the theater, and you're not going to feel like you've been bent over without a towel to bite on. Unless you like that sort of thing, in which case consider the movie better than that. - djHBRD, on 07/16/2008, -0/+24Do you mean KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN?
- inactive, on 07/16/2008, -1/+25The last half hour is a cigarette followed by cuddling.

- stellarceltic, on 07/16/2008, -3/+15iPhone?
Ok, third coming. - Zedian, on 07/16/2008, -1/+12I am pretty sure this movie is going to be amazing but yeah....all this critical oozing and talk is making me think the rapture might arrive on Friday.
- staticneuron, on 07/16/2008, -0/+11Imagine how much more awesome he'd be if he had been trained by Pirates AND Ninjas!
- Hoogs, on 07/16/2008, -0/+11Seriously, if there's one movie you'd want to pay to see in the theater this year, wouldn't this be it?
- Niightwitch, on 07/16/2008, -0/+11"It’s not just the best superhero movie ever made, it’s one of the best movies ever to show up in a theater. "
I agree with you. I'm sure it will be good, but what he says here is a lot to live up to. - whahaa, on 07/16/2008, -0/+10why so serious, tech42er?
- ralphie81, on 07/16/2008, -0/+10I'm not so sure. If he doesn't reply, I'll assume the worst.
- Niightwitch, on 07/16/2008, -0/+10Yeah, why would you want to cheapen the experience by watching it for the first time on a little screen when you can wait a few more days and see it the way it was intended to see seen - on a big screen.
- leerayIG88, on 07/16/2008, -0/+10Da nanana dananana Batman!
- dthebear, on 07/16/2008, -1/+11how can you watch a movie like this on a tiny ass screen? IMAX!!!!!!!
- WELLDOITLIVE, on 07/16/2008, -0/+8It's ok, you will live.
- inactive, on 07/16/2008, -3/+11who cares what some no-name fanboy reviewer has to say?
- nesagwa, on 07/16/2008, -0/+7"It's also 1/3rd too long, with an entire subplot which goes nowhere and doesn't resolve that could've been trimmed."
Sounds a lot like the complaints I had with Begins (others including goofy one liners and bales "batman" voice.)
But everyone will look at you like youre crazy and continue to treat it like its not a movie about a guy running around in a big rubber ninja bat suit. - MxM111, on 07/16/2008, -0/+7iPhone 3G?
Ok, fourth coming. - jrizzo, on 07/16/2008, -0/+7Ron Paul, Obama, Steve Jobs, Batman...
There is so much competition to be Jesus on Digg! - badjoke, on 07/16/2008, -2/+9What a waste. See it sober.
- Pandalemon, on 07/16/2008, -1/+8Nah, this one's for the big screen. A perfect dvd scr wouldn't stop me and my friends paying to see this movie in all it's glory.
If you actually own a big screen though ... - hexydes, on 07/16/2008, -0/+7So what will the MPAA say when Batman becomes the number one profit-making movie of the year (second/third being Iron Man and Indiana Jones), despite being (along with the other two movies) in the prime demographic of those with the knowledge of how to download pirated movies?
Don't get me wrong though, I'm sure piracy is what caused "The Love Guru" to bomb at the box office. If it weren't for pirates, that movie likely would have been number one this year. - Nezacant, on 07/16/2008, -2/+8Why don't you tell us how your really feel?
- strong2345, on 07/16/2008, -0/+6Reading this article gave me chills. I hope it dominates the Box Office opening weekend record... Spiderman 3 sucked ass anyways.
- newwildlife, on 07/16/2008, -1/+7why is it everytime i see your comments they are buried, then when i click the "show" link its always some immature comment?
- megadan76, on 07/16/2008, -0/+5Hmm, might have to see this one at the theatres. Definitely a big screen movie from the sound of it. Don't know if I can afford to see the IMAX version, but I like the concept.
- darkfus, on 07/16/2008, -0/+5I work in Chicago and a lot of scenes for this movie were filmed by my workplace. I can't wait to see how it all turned out.
- Malarie, on 07/16/2008, -0/+5So, Its 630 am, I am still asleep in Montreal, I receive this SMS from my Girlfriend who is in Australia for 3 weeks...
"I just got out of the boat in Cairns, The Great Barrier Reef was pretty cool, but not like when we went to Sipadan, I am takin a shower and I am goin to see The Dark Knight in 30 mins, Do you still love me? I know you do!"
So my first thought of the day was: "Okay, I am ***** jealous of my GF".
3 hours later I receive another SMS on my cell from her..
"SICK!!!"
I cant wait to go see it on Imax - yerlordnsaveyer, on 07/16/2008, -8/+13I'm going batty with anticipation. Movie prices are outrageous, but I'm sure we'll get every Pennyworth out of this one. It's gonna make a Dent in the superhero genre. I'm even taking off work Friday to see it again, as I'm sure I'll fall in love when I see it the knight before it opens.
Oh for the love of god, digg me down. - ahoyhoy1, on 07/16/2008, -1/+6The batman from the old TV show was actually trained by pirates. Hence the shark repellent bat spray and the bright and vibrant outfits.
- inactive, on 07/16/2008, -4/+9i smell over-hype
- Elranzer, on 07/16/2008, -0/+5Seriously, all movies are worth paying for if you want to see them. You don't have the right to see them for free.
- durruticolumn, on 09/18/2009, -0/+5
I have been worried that this movie has been getting too hyped. But I have a solution. Everybody, grab yourself a copy of Batman & Robin, and watch it on repeat until Thursday at 11:59pm. You will be guaranteed to fully appreciate The Dark Knight after those hours of torture. - HillerMylife, on 07/24/2008, -0/+5I agree completely, but tickets are sold out all the way through next Thursday! Still not going to pirate it, but the waiting will kill me.
- inactive, on 07/16/2008, -0/+4With all this good reviews I think there's no way for this movie to suck.
