I can't figure out why he only got a 139 inch screen, and not a 200 inch - that projector could have handled much larger sizes. The theater's showcase isn't the screen though, and I almost think the room outclasses the tech in it! Can you guys imagine 12 tshirt and gym short clad fat guys with tons of snacks watching Monday night football in this room? I can't - I'd feel like I had to wear a suit or something!

And yes, a friend of mine also pointed out (correctly I think) that buying a real theater would have been cheaper. But it wouldn't have been as much fun!

I mean a one gun is ok for portability but put an old time three gun projector in there and maybe even a bigger screen.. i have seen them a lot bigger.

I mean, even at brand new 'nice' theaters, once they turn the lights on everything looks like shiat. I would't even mind dressing up to go see a show, i want it to be an event ya know?
Oh, and building a theater with a much larger screen is sortof a waste, at least for the next few years or so until blu-ray is out. Have any of you ever actually SEEN a DVD blown up that big? Things that are not moving around start not looking so great. This puts my theater to shame, and up until now, mine was the nicest i had seen.
