PG-13?
If the videogame was rated M (and it was) and it came out in 2001 (and it did), after all these years, why are they marketing the movie to thirteen year olds. Thirteen year olds aren't playing Max Payne today. Any 13-year-old who played he game in 2001 would be 20 today. This is just more evidence that Hollywood can't get it's mind around the concept of an Adult-oriented videogame. The direction and lighting were lazy. I think Timothy Olyphant was on heavy painkillers throughout the shoot and could have been replaced by a 2x4 w/ bald cap. (btw I think Olyphant is a fantastic actor) The dialogue was obscenely bad. They're called JRPGs. - SquigglyP, on 07/10/2008, -1/+13it doesn't mean it's being marketed at kids, it means that there's not a lot of cursing or sex in the film, which fits the game, as there was only a few select times when a character would curse, and there was some innuendo, but no sex. Were it not for the cursing in The Matrix, that film probably would have gotten a pg-13 rating as well.
