- TheRemoteViewer, on 10/22/2007, -3/+54'Something' being a little thing called money, as usual.
- SilverBack101, on 10/30/2007, -4/+54Matt Damon!
- remyz16, on 10/22/2007, -0/+40"Hollywood might be better off creating their own story to continue the franchise."
They already have. Read the books, especially Ultimatum to see how they completely altered the story. - Ghoztt, on 11/02/2007, -2/+42Mmmaaat Daaamon.
- TheCasablancan, on 10/21/2007, -1/+37On the Daily Show, he made a joke that a fourth film would have to be called "The Bourne Redundancy". While he did certainly kick ass, where will they go with a 4th one? Will he hook back up with Julia Stiles' character? No se.
- najdorf, on 10/24/2007, -4/+38The Bourne Really Final Conclusive Ending Finishing Last Ultimate Ultimatum (Really)
- loggia, on 10/25/2007, -2/+35I thought at the end of the Bourne Supremacy, they should have said: "Your real name? Will Hunting."
- GfunkGbuss, on 10/25/2007, -2/+30MATT..........DAAAMON!
- inactive, on 10/21/2007, -4/+30It's kind of interesting that Jason Bourne has the same initials as James Bond. But is in better movies.
- damien6669, on 10/23/2007, -2/+25MAAAAATTT DAAAMON...
- EndersGame, on 10/22/2007, -2/+23YES! I was so disappointed when he said he wasn't coming back for the final movie, especially since the book counterpart was one of my favorites. Jason Bourne just wouldn't be the same without Matt Damon.
- Fr00sh, on 10/22/2007, -6/+25The new James Bond, just way cooler.
- iFungus, on 10/22/2007, -2/+15And realistic
- supermanred, on 10/22/2007, -2/+143 Great movies. Hopefully one more from Matt Damon.
- CWal37, on 10/21/2007, -0/+11Why did you bother to respond if it was such a waste then?
- Sk8SkaNJ, on 10/21/2007, -2/+12Did the camera not cut and jump around enough for you?
- JustinHorne, on 10/24/2007, -1/+11WTF are you all on about? The series ROCKED, and now it's over. Let it die the good death, for once, don't drag it out.
- jj9000, on 10/22/2007, -0/+9He said on the Daily Show the 4th movie would be called The Bourne Redundancy
- gl77, on 03/31/2008, -1/+10haha "Bourne Again"
- TheWorm, on 10/22/2007, -1/+10You can't hate on Bond though. 007 was the originator. Classic and always very cool in my oppinion.
- Zalyster, on 10/21/2007, -0/+9After the last film, my grandparents said that a 4th movie had to happen, and 'it would be so interesting to see the trial'...
I hope this has nothing to do with the trial. - inactive, on 10/22/2007, -6/+15MaTt dAmOn
- jhails, on 10/22/2007, -0/+9The Bourne series is great but I would appreciate it if they would consider investing in a steadycam for the next one. We get that it's all edgy and fast paced but the message might be more effectively realized on an audience that wasn't battling motion sickness.
- richardhenry, on 10/24/2007, -0/+8Who let you out of your cage?
- bossm4n, on 10/21/2007, -0/+8If anything the second flick was a shaky cam fest. The third was much more watchable in that regard. Very much looking forward to a fourth.
- IllBeBack, on 10/22/2007, -2/+10More Bourne? Count me in.
- PorcupineTree, on 10/21/2007, -0/+8As much as I'd hate to see the Bourne series be centered around a romance, I was rooting for him to bang Nicky in Ultimatum.
Maybe I'm alone on this one. - SuperJimmyJimbo, on 10/21/2007, -0/+7and Jack Bauer. JB Crew ala Justice League, anyone?
- shadowpr0ph3t, on 10/21/2007, -1/+8agree
- aaronm67, on 10/21/2007, -0/+7These movies weren't really even "re-imagined." They took the name of a popular book, used the character in them, and wrote a completely different, but still very good story.
- aliengoods, on 10/21/2007, -0/+7Once the studio made more on the third than the first two combined, I think they realized they were going to have to pay him much more for the fourth.
- inactive, on 10/22/2007, -0/+63 good books by the original author. 2 bad books by someone trying to ride on his coattails.
- thatbirdguy, on 10/21/2007, -0/+6To be fair...
The first book is really the only one that is partly based on the actual books. They make some moves (like killing off Conklin) that make the rest of the books impossible to recreate in subsequent films. Considering the Bourne Ultimatum novel was based entirely around an elderly Bourne protecting his family (his wife who corresponds to the girl from the first movie/killed off in the second movie, and two children) from an assassin named Carlos the Jackal (who was introduced in the first book, but never seen in the first two movies).
Hollywood pretty much wrote the entire Bourne movie trilogy. To be honest I can't even believe that they used the titles from the books. - salinemist, on 10/21/2007, -2/+8Bourne > Matrix by far.
- inactive, on 10/22/2007, -2/+7they should leave it here. there isnt much more to do. twas a good ride but its over now.
- bpapa, on 10/21/2007, -0/+5Wow, glad I missed the original news that he wouldn't be returning. I probably would have cried.
- johnny222, on 10/21/2007, -0/+5Maybe you should start making up your own jokes.
http://digg.com/movies/Matt_Damon_to_be_Jason_Bour ... - sprx, on 11/02/2007, -2/+7Please no more...
The trilogy was so amazing, I don't want to see it flop.
Like the Matrix... AMAZING, then double flop. Please do not do the same to Jason Bourne - inactive, on 10/21/2007, -1/+6This is the problem with Hollywood. They milk shows. Suck everything dry and taint the previous films.
- inactive, on 10/21/2007, -1/+6I'm waiting for "The Bourne Penetration" to come out.
- ScottyMcBaggs, on 10/22/2007, -0/+4Maybe in a battle to the death between these two trilogies Bourne would win. The Matrix should have ended at the first one. The first one is a masterpiece, the other two are like long, bad jokes... so bad you don't know whether to laugh or cry.
- soteek, on 10/21/2007, -0/+4I'm a big fan of the trilogy so this is a great news.
- olik, on 10/21/2007, -1/+5I agree, they answered all the lingering questions, and ended the story. This would be like another Matrix.
- EndersGame, on 10/21/2007, -0/+4You will receive a moderate amount of diggs for being a day late (5 posts to be exact) and a dollar short (your delivery was off)
- gn0stik, on 10/21/2007, -0/+4If there was a fourth book, i might buy into the idea.. However, hollywood cant write a story to save it's life... so they'll ruin the franchise. Actually there is a fourth bourne book, but it's written by someone other than ludlum... lame.
- ggoyal, on 10/22/2007, -0/+4realistic??? now that's stretching it a bit too much.
- Velnich, on 10/22/2007, -0/+4Makes me wondering if he was holding his breath for the Kirk role and this is plan B.
- MtheoryX, on 10/22/2007, -3/+7You thought wrong then.
