- cambrown99, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14Old School 2: Electric Bugaloo?
- Pottersquash, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13very nice to judge something that hasn't even initiated yet. Please accept this medal for "Mom's Basement Nerd" and may you continue to preach the truth that sequels, prequels, remakes and second takes can never EVER be as good as the original.
- calvmari, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Less chick flicks and more comedies and he'd be golden!
- lotus22, on 10/12/2007, -4/+13As much as I want to see another Old School movie, they are going to have a hell of a time making the movie as good as the first one.
I base all my comedies on if they were as funny as Old School and so far none I've seen have been funnier than it. - Bolko, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9As long as we get to see Elisha Cuthbert in her underpants again, it will be a good movie.
- steveoco, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Your crazy!... I like you.. but... your crazy!
- chuck2006, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7You think KFC is still open?
- drumsnstuff, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9I loved Idiocracy. It wasn't a perfect movie, but it was cynical and sarcastic and everything we'd been missing from Mike Judge since Office Space.
Comedy sequels have a lot better chance for a solid sequel, especially with a great trio like Ferrell, Vaughn, and Wilson. - mlvassallo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6I love Luke Wilson. I will watch anything he is in just hoping that it will be as good. It usually isn't. But Old School was a treat and maybe a sequel will be just what the doctor ordered.
- bigtomrodney, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7I ***** need you now tonight! I ***** need you more than ever....
- TheTjalian, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7You're thinking of Owen Wilson ;)
- Markpdotcom, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8You're either too old or too young or have lead a sheltered life, if you didn't get Old School.
The time will come. You will look back and think. "F*ck me, thats a brilliant movie! I wish I was still in college/university!" :) - Emmo213, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6@DonCarcharo
I like most of Will Ferrell's movies because they're kinda stupid, but again that's why they're good. Most of them don't exactly have a stellar plot but after work I don't feel like watching something real indepth - I just want something to relax and laugh at. That being said, I went to the theater to see Stranger Than Fiction thinking it would be another funny movie, and was surprised by how good it was and by Will's acting range. It's kinda like when Jim Carey did The Truman Show. To me, alot of Will's movies are good as long as you don't try to make them into something they're not. But, to each his own. - MagiTekSoldier, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Won't be possible as the actor that played him has died. :(

Try renting Elf.
I say this because I dislike almost every Will Ferrell movie I've seen, except Stranger Than Fiction and Elf. So you might enjoy Elf, too.
Plus it has Bob Newhart. I mean, c'mon. - qwerty1263, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yea....Um I'm here for the gang bang.
- DonCarcharo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3@illegalcortex
It's funny you mention that. I have seen Elf and I loved that too. One of my all time favorite Christmas/comedy flicks. For some reason I didn't equate it as a Ferrell flick but yeah he was great in that too.
(Yes, yes I know the drill. Digg me down.) - bgramer1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@MagiTekSoldier
Crap. Too bad he's gone. He looked really good in this suit: http://www.imdb.com/gallery/granitz/2422/Events/2422/PatrickCra_Grani_2313891_400.jpg.html?path=pgallery&path_key=Cranshaw,%20Patrick - superguysteve, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2haha, whatever jackass no one cares.

- centerblack, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Old School is one of my favorite movies. I don't usually like it when unplanned sequels are made. That said...
If Old School 2 was made, and it rocked as much as the first one, it would be awesome! It would have an extremely high standard to live up to though, I compare pretty much every comedy of that sort to Old School. We would need to see new material from all characters, not just a re-hash of the things that were funny in OS. It kept you guessing, you couldn't predict half the crazy ***** that happened.
OS1 was so incredibly ***** awesome, that topping it would be possibly the greatest achievement these four actors have ever made. The thing is, I think Vaughn, Wilson and Ferrel could actually pull this off. I just hope they know that Old School is classic on the level of Animal House/The Graduate in my opinion and many others. They'd have to pull out all the stops!,
MITCH, I OWN SIX SPEAKER CITIES. I'M WORTH THREE AND A HALF MILLION DOLLARS THAT THE GOVERNMENT KNOWS ABOUT.... YOU THINK I'M GOING TO ROLL OUT THIS KIND OF RED CARPET FOR A *****......MARCHING BAND? - feelmydisease, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i smell pre-quel! PRE-QUEL!

I'll have to try. I mean with Old School I did my best to be open minded. Afterward I even went ahead and rented a few more Will Ferrell flicks so I could get a point of reference. I picked up Talladega Nights, Anchorman & Stranger Than Fiction. I didn't care much for any of them except Stranger Than Fiction. I really enjoyed that film. I think Will did a good job playing a more restrained character and the movie worked well as long as you could suspend disbelief.
That goes to show what I know. Stranger Than Fiction grossed half of what those other films did (1/3 of Talladega). - GoatMonkey2112, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Grad school.
- LookARhino, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I'll give endless love to Boondock Saints for the majestic Danna Celtic tune in the opening sequence.
Old School delivers what it intends, and I think most people will agree, it's funny, no matter how base the humour is. As long as you are ok with that, it's great.
On a sidenote, there is little evidence thus far to suggest that life was meant to be taken seriously. I'd suggest there is plenty of evidence to the contrary. Old School fits in that schema perfectly to me. - cdog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Frank the tank, Frank the tank, Frank the tank.
