- yyymilitia, on 08/19/2008, -1/+135I focused on the Simpsons picture more than the article
- gametavern, on 08/19/2008, -2/+39Captain Planet, he's our hero.... wait wrong blue guy.
- RocketSeason, on 08/19/2008, -2/+31Dugg for the Pic.
- ryansmith18, on 08/19/2008, -2/+30Meh, Warner Bros will just end up paying a bunch of cash to Fox, and we'll still see it in March.
- kawaiirobo, on 08/19/2008, -5/+29If Fox ***** blocks The Watchmen I swear to god I will lead the boycott against them.
- hammerpants, on 08/19/2008, -0/+17Digg boycotts Fox and Fox News every few days.
- zspade, on 08/19/2008, -2/+16don't worry, that wasn't a paragraph. Paragraphs require punctuation, and no four and five dot ellipses do not count as punctuation.
- bagelmaster, on 08/19/2008, -1/+13ANSWERRRRRRRR: http://watchthesimpsonsonline.com/movie/241-The%20 ...
Around 6:50 is the part where the pic was taken specifically. - InfinitySnatch, on 08/19/2008, -1/+12What the hell is wrong with Millhouse's left arm?
- CannedMango, on 08/19/2008, -2/+12Imagine if Fox had done this movie instead of WB... we'd be getting a 90 minute cut that used a different plot from the comics and gave everyone super powers.
- j3ff86, on 08/19/2008, -0/+9There was an article?
- bonk2k, on 08/19/2008, -0/+9I'm still holding out for the film adaptation of Watchmen Babies: Rorschach's Puppy Troubles
- CasinoJack, on 08/19/2008, -0/+8Captain Planet was the most awesome gay blue superhero between 1990 and 1996.
- luke16, on 08/19/2008, -2/+10QUESTCHUNNNN: What episode is that from and can i watch it anywhere online?
- CasinoJack, on 08/19/2008, -3/+11That looks like Barts arm by the colour of the t-shirt.
- Whitey07, on 08/19/2008, -2/+9The only trouble, The Watchmen looks ***** fantastic compared to Dukes of Hazzard.
- inactive, on 08/19/2008, -0/+6Managed to find a sympathetic judge? How the ***** is a legal system based on justice when you can pick and choose your judges?
- mythicflux, on 08/20/2008, -0/+6Alan Moore did voice himself in that episode when Millhouse brings him Watchmen Babies.
- mywhitenoise, on 08/19/2008, -2/+8what about The Tick?
- Rizzen, on 08/19/2008, -0/+5Millhouse is not a meme is a meme.
- oneredeye, on 08/19/2008, -0/+5WTF! Who let you in here?!
- pe5t1lence, on 08/20/2008, -0/+5The joke was all his intellectual properties were being dumbed down.
- norm7, on 08/19/2008, -0/+5but who's watching the Simpsons?
- mnemy, on 08/19/2008, -1/+6I hate these retarded legal battles. Fox may have bought the rights. But they didn't do jack ***** with them. Then Warners actually makes a movie and Fox all the sudden wants a bribe. Free money. Like those ***** making tons of patents with no plans on implementing them, just so they can sue someone later for "stealing their idea".
- valkyries, on 08/19/2008, -2/+6Watchmen Babies image from Time.com. [New York Times]
since when are screen shots from the Simpson's owned by Times? - Acidictadpole, on 08/19/2008, -0/+4It wasn't the rights to the watchmen movie (as I interpreted it from the article.) but rather rights to any movie the producer involved (Lawrence Gordon) made.
Was a mistake on this Gordon fellows part I believe, and also on WB to not check that nothing like that was involved. But I think it's jerky of fox to go after Warner Bros about this instead of Gordon. - Kohaxx, on 08/19/2008, -0/+4That image is better than the actual article. Why is an I09 article submitted under Images anyway?
- ZaZ2137, on 08/19/2008, -2/+5Indeed, what about The Tick.
SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!! - papusman, on 08/19/2008, -1/+4One of my favorite Simpson's gags in recent years. You know Alan Moore loved it.
- RSS14, on 08/19/2008, -0/+3Remember, remember, the 6th of March . . .
- AZRoboto, on 08/19/2008, -0/+3err...you mean Fox.
***** FOX - TheKingInYellow, on 08/19/2008, -0/+3In that case what the hell is wrong with Bart's left arm?
- Calibas, on 08/19/2008, -0/+3Could the people at Fox be bigger *****?
They wait for the movie to be almost ready for release, then they sue. Just because you're a corporation doesn't mean you can't have some sort of scruples. - inactive, on 08/19/2008, -0/+3Warners doesn't quite have the cash this year.
Failure of Speed Racer (which I liked)
Lack Luster or even box office failure of Clone Wars
Pushing Harry Potter into next year.
Batman can only help itself and maybe Speed Racer and face it, Watchmen isn't going to have legs like Batman to warrant another $20 million payout just to get it out the door.
I personally can't wait to see it. - funkydude101, on 08/20/2008, -0/+2Which episode of the Simpsons was this in?
- ryansimbalist, on 08/19/2008, -0/+2They ending scenario was first dramatized in 'The Outer Limits' episode 'The Architects of Fear'.
- InfernoX, on 08/20/2008, -0/+2Fox was obviously waiting for the movie to be near release so they could be ***** and make some money.
- NeoCortex, on 08/19/2008, -0/+2You shall have the support of thousands of Browncoats if you ever decide to march on Fox HQ.
- NeoCortex, on 08/19/2008, -0/+2I wonder what took Fox so long to act, though. I doubt they just found out about when they saw the trailer.
- Katana314, on 08/19/2008, -0/+2You're assuming Fox is going to do this morally...
- Jaymoon, on 08/20/2008, -1/+3Millhouse is holding the comic with both hands.
His left arm would have to be almost twice as long as his right arm, which is what InfinitySnatch is pointing out. - pe5t1lence, on 08/20/2008, -1/+2Jerks stole my facebook pic!
- happyfundave, on 08/20/2008, -0/+112 midnight is the top of the clock, 3 the right, 6 at the bottom, 9 at the left. the release makes up the major hours of a watch face.
- BrandonJM, on 08/20/2008, -0/+1Stupid. I pray for the day other comic companies just go the Marvel route and say "***** it" to this nonsense.
- dcmcderm, on 08/20/2008, -0/+1Dugg for Matt Groening, creator or Milhouse's eyebrows.
- Iatethecrayon, on 08/20/2008, -0/+1Because Rupert Murdoch knows the path to immortality is to bathe in tears and broken dreams.
- Jaymoon, on 08/20/2008, -0/+1It's not, the image was used from this post:
http://time-blog.com/nerd_world/2008/02/the_annota ...
He's just giving credit to where the image came from, regardless of who owns the rights to it. - wentwj, on 08/20/2008, -0/+1I'll bite... why is march 3rd such a perfect date?
- neuber, on 08/20/2008, -0/+1no more yiffing, horray!
- r4agreements, on 08/20/2008, -0/+1Lawsuit man can't stop the Watchmen. OH the anarchy.
