- DeathMarcher, on 06/27/2008, -20/+273Tentative title: The Bourne Redundancy
- ToddSchishler, on 06/27/2008, -1/+163Moby will be ecstatic.
- mrshickadance9, on 06/27/2008, -1/+96Some of the best action/thriller movies to come out in a long long time. I can't wait.
Gotta love the minimal use of CGI as well. - TimDigg, on 06/27/2008, -6/+95Whoa now...let's not ruin a good thing....
- xerofilter, on 06/27/2008, -9/+79I’m f'ing Matt Damon - On the bed, on the floor, on a towel by the door, in the tub, in the car, up against the mini-bar
- Nohj, on 06/27/2008, -3/+65You are one drunk son of a bitch
- Jackmoe, on 06/27/2008, -4/+62Treadstone is a lie. They invented the cake.
- buba1243, on 06/27/2008, -3/+57Why not create an original story for the fourth it worked for the first 3. About the only thing similar between the books and movies is bourne is a bad ass with memory problems.
- bpapa, on 06/27/2008, -3/+46I grew up on James Bond, but Jason Bourne is the JB I prefer now.
- DrCrankenstein, on 06/27/2008, -11/+51Origin story? Yes please.
- chrisinsocalif, on 06/27/2008, -2/+40Yason Bourne. No Jason...Yason....Jason!
Maaaat Daaaamon! - INDOAZZ, on 06/27/2008, -1/+38What a great MOVIE franchise. Matt Damon does a really good job as JB.
- behlib99, on 06/27/2008, -5/+42They better go back to using steady cam.
- Tyrghast, on 06/27/2008, -4/+40They could always do the actual story of the Bourne Supremacy, where he goes to Hong Kong and what not. It's a great book, but the Bourne Supremacy movie had nothing to do with it.
- romeyinfc, on 06/27/2008, -1/+35Matt Damon
- Origin415, on 06/27/2008, -0/+29I dont even know why they mention its going to be an original story, the last two sure were!
- hinkbot, on 06/27/2008, -1/+29How about a movie that ties in the Carlos character from the Bourne novels? The movies are good, but until they do this, I think they aren't nearly as good as the novels.
- cesclaveria, on 06/27/2008, -2/+26I usually hate eletronic/techno music (or whatever moby does is called), but Extreme Ways is a really cool song.
- ortucis, on 06/27/2008, -0/+23You should've heard him when he was typing it..
- arch3r, on 06/27/2008, -2/+23"Marshall also confirmed that they will probably be creating an original story for the fourth film."
Yea, like the first 3 movies were even close to the books they were "based" on. - Elen, on 06/27/2008, -1/+21Looks like he's already working on the character.. Here's Bourne disguised as a fat guy with something hideous growing on his upper lip
http://img.thesun.co.uk/multimedia/archive/00518/S ... - ericrous, on 06/27/2008, -1/+21Oh yeah? Well I'm ***** Ben Affleck!
And when we’re together there’s this feeling inside.
It’s like a million butterflies flutterin’ in my behind.
I love the dimples in your chin, I see diamonds in your eyes.
When I’m ***** you Ben Affleck I feel like I can fly.
And our ***** won’t be stopped no matter how hard they try. - mrshickadance9, on 06/27/2008, -1/+21It's okay. Just go pop in Transformers. Your short attention span will be able to handle that better.
- Kikinou, on 06/27/2008, -0/+17The fight scene between him and Desh in the 3rd one is the best fight scene I have ever seen, very realistic too.
- basevillin, on 06/27/2008, -3/+20Original != Origin...
- inactive, on 06/27/2008, -0/+16Really? The third one was a good conclusion to the series and gave closure to the character. This seems unnecessary.
- inactive, on 06/27/2008, -6/+21Awesome! This is a great series!
- ithejosh, on 06/27/2008, -4/+18I like the shaky cam...
- 4LeggedtriPod, on 06/27/2008, -5/+20Get your 4chan off my Digg.
- calon9, on 06/27/2008, -0/+14As I type this, George Lucas has crashed through a window swinging in on a whip and joined their production meeting. Luckily he stopped them from going forward on a crappy story. He helped them replace all fight scenes with CGI equivalents, added a son for Jason Bourne, an awesome sprinkle of alien subplot and a touching wedding scene.
So you can breathe easy that they won't ruin this franchise.
And Lucas swings out into the sunset, swinging from production meeting to production meeting, hoping to one day set right all of Hollywood... - Vapor17, on 06/27/2008, -0/+13Daily Show reference FTW
- CrazyRedHatter, on 06/27/2008, -1/+14ummmm....didn't they have an intense care chase in...well...all of them?
- Gorrondonuts, on 06/27/2008, -0/+12Yeah I would love them to actually put Carlos, The Jackal, into the story, you know since he was pretty much the antagonist in the books. But whatever, I've accepted the movies are different and good on their own. I just can't think of them as adaptations of the books.
- CrazyRedHatter, on 06/27/2008, -0/+12Or they just offered him a freaking ton of cash.
- xAPx, on 06/27/2008, -1/+13Prequel... FTW
- SmartBizGuru, on 06/27/2008, -1/+12Th minimal use of CGI is AWESOME. It's not some sell out George Luca B.S..... He ruined Star Wars and Indiana Jones with his CGI.
- th3heretic, on 06/27/2008, -0/+11Know whats great about movies? Not having to read the book - Jim Gaffigan.
- exscind, on 06/27/2008, -1/+12Rambo (4) is phenomenal.
- CrazyRedHatter, on 06/27/2008, -1/+12I thought it was perfect where they left off at the end of the third. I'm a little apprehensive about this one. I hope they don't take a nearly flawless trilogy and totally sell out for a crappy fourth film.
- inactive, on 06/27/2008, -1/+12You're doing it wrong, needs a more retarded sound.
- Restrikted, on 06/27/2008, -0/+10meh...I loved the first 3, with the last one being my favorite. Once you start to switch the story, things could get a little rough. I think they should be one of the very few movie series which stop while they are ahead.
- 3amboo, on 06/27/2008, -6/+16go with the books... it's titled: The Bourne Legacy
- uneasyryder, on 06/27/2008, -0/+10I truly hope they don't base this 4th movie off of the 4th book (even though so far the movies & books so far have had nothing to do with each other).
Robert Ludlum wrote 1, 2, & 3, which were fantastic... then another author named Eric Van Lustbader came in and wrote a 4th and 5th book after Ludlums death... and he completely ruined the entire series. - danlowlite, on 06/27/2008, -0/+10I wonder how Damon will spin that particular little comment. (Made on the Daily Show, as Vapor17 said.)
I liked the series. We'll see if it gets screwed up. - SkippyDoorknob, on 06/27/2008, -0/+10Just don't watch it.
(I bet you will anyway...) - krische, on 06/27/2008, -0/+10I didn't even think of that, but I think that is probably the best thing they could do. I mean it would be really hard to carry the story on after the 3rd considering he brought down all the bad guys.
- ORBAT, on 06/27/2008, -0/+9Get off my lawn! *shakes walking stick feebly*
- passedoutghost, on 06/28/2008, -1/+10I can't believe he put ***** aliens in Indiana Jones.
- PixelMagic, on 06/28/2008, -0/+9Yeah, #4 movies usually nuke the fridge.
- inactive, on 06/27/2008, -0/+8God knows the stories have strayed so far from the novels already that they probably figure, "Eh, what the hell, let's just do away with it entirely this time". Not that that's an entirely bad thing, though - I've enjoyed these films. The only thing the movies share with the novels is a name and a vague plot. I hope someone comes along and does a remake of this series in a few decades that gives more attention to the character development, psychological study, and plot of the novels.
