      They where still filming stuff for jackass 2 even after the film was out.(yes jackass 2 not 3). The plan was for an extended DVD release but they came up with this new idea. I will take a guess and say that they changed from the extended DVD idea and moved on to a full jackass 3 movie. This 2.5 release seems it will be a lot of commentary, outtakes, and failed stunts.
