You want to see the best Die Hard since the first one? Check out "Die Hard 2" and "Die Hard With a Vengeance." Those are good Die Hard movies. Hell, go watch Hostage. Much better than this crap.

Its 8.4 rating is astronomically high for IMDB, and I trust their ratings more than any other source because it's real ratings from real people... and lots of them. Surprisingly, women rated it higher than men (so far).
The nice thing I love about IMDB ratings is that you can click on them to see the breakdown. In this case, a vast, vast majority (almost 80%) rated the movie 8 or higher, but a small but significant minority (10%) rated it a 0. So, it's a very polarizing movie. Either you'll love it or hate it. - dweeb79, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Most if not all reviews seem to be positive for this film. This guy seems more disappointed about it receiving a PG-13 instead of the R rating. Maybe I missed something but in 8 minute clip that was available on movies.yahoo.com it showed him killing like 4 guys right there. Sure they don’t show blood because that would have bumped it to an R rating, but he shot and they fell so it seems logical they died. I want to read a well thought-out article on why the movie is bad and rather then someone just ranting about it being bad.
