I love super hero movies, especially Spiderman. But I think that the Spiderman franchise might have run its course..honestly, though, if there was another Spiderman movie i would be very excited, but i would also be worried that it wouldnt have that special something that made the first movies so amazing. So, please, if you do more Spiderman movies...make it count, make it special, limit the villains, no emo spidey, and make Mary-Jane STFU! Also, a X-men sequel would be nice...you kinda left me hangin for more.

If they get Jake Gyllanhaal, then count me out, I can't stand him and I don't want to see him in any superhero role, especially NOT Spider-Man. Also, the franchise is in jeopardy of becoming way to cheesy. They turned Venom into a joke. The first movie was awesome, if they could get back to basics, they can reinvigorate this franchise.

- copperplated, on 05/20/2008, -0/+13James Vanderbilt is writing part 4. He wrote Zodiac and I know a lot of people loved that movie, but honestly, I felt it was very drawn out. I'm not sure how he'll do with a superhero movie. And if 4 & 5 are filmed at the same time, that means that if one movie is poor, so will the other one be. I'm not sure what to expect from the next few movies.

My kids will want to see them of course, but they'll be watching Torrents, not wasting the increasingly evaporating funds I am left with after the various other exploitations I am obliged to swallow on a daily basis. -
