- mediaspree, on 12/10/2007, -0/+31No nipples. Passes my test.
- edwartica, on 12/10/2007, -0/+23I'm going to dress up like Captain America the day Iron Man opens. I'll stand outside with a big sign reading something like "Tony Stark killed me!"
- Sedako, on 12/10/2007, -1/+18There is no better man to play Tony Stark than Robert Downey Jr.
- LordofChaosIori, on 12/10/2007, -2/+10I wish the Batsuit had a sleeker look to it, like in the first one, but I wont mind as long as the movie kicks ass.
- samdu, on 12/10/2007, -1/+8What was "politically correct" about Batman Begins?!?!?
- edwartica, on 12/10/2007, -0/+5There's nothing politically correct about Tony Stark's brand of fascism.
- quentinp, on 12/10/2007, -0/+4All I could think of with Batman's costume is "Cloak Engaged" (or "Maximum Strength" etc...). The Ironman poster looks great.
- Zinital, on 12/10/2007, -0/+4Marvel and DC movies... either a hit or a miss depending on those who make the flicks.
- robdiggity, on 12/10/2007, -0/+4I uh... I'm kinda partial to nipples...
Oh... OH! you meant on the bat suit! - QSidious, on 12/10/2007, -0/+3I cannot wait for these to come out...
- wolvyne, on 12/10/2007, -1/+4Hail the dark knight
- Shakermaker, on 12/10/2007, -0/+3That's an amazing looking suit. It's busy because it actually looks like military battle armour.
- newbietheatre, on 12/10/2007, -0/+2Batman can finally turn his head to the left and right without moving his shoulders. That's something I thought they would have fixed for Batman Begins.
- mercano, on 12/10/2007, -0/+2It's interesting these movies are going to be coming out at about the same time; Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark are both the same archtype of characters, but their superhero alter egos are very different.
- insllvn, on 12/10/2007, -2/+4The batsuit doesn't, or shouldn't, need to look so bulky and technical. Batman is a ninja, so wouldn't fabric be more of a plus stealth-wise? If you must juice it up, throw in a bulletproof vest, but leave it at that.
- zengonzo, on 12/10/2007, -0/+2I'm wracking my brain here ..
Also struggling to figure out what was so socially challenging about Tim Burton's version. - thinkingserious, on 12/10/2007, -0/+2Nice! I needed these for Halloween.
- samdu, on 12/10/2007, -1/+3I agree. They've put too much crap on the Bat suit for this movie. Not that it looks terrible or anything, it's just overdone. Bats doesn't need all of that crap.
- flamingmb, on 12/10/2007, -1/+3Am I the only one who thought there would be triathlon pics for a second?
- mileswj, on 12/10/2007, -0/+2I think its fine, they discussed the suit and why it is how it is. In the first one it was all a rubbery material and didnt allow complete movement.
In this movie the armor is interlocking plating that allows full movement and full protection, hence the more technical looking aspect. - Elranzer, on 12/10/2007, -0/+2The Batsuit in the animated series (arguably the best on-screen version of Batman) has the suit made of black and gray fabric, and Batman's ninja qualities are more present than even in Batman Begins. For the reason, it's not exactly bullet-proof, which was an issue in some episodes.
- Trax91, on 12/10/2007, -0/+2For coustumes?
I don't know, man. They totally beefed the Batsuit and how are you gonna move with all the metal? - mercano, on 12/10/2007, -0/+2Now I'll have to go re-read the Ultimates; there's one seen where they are sitting around discussing who should play themselves in a movie; I think Downey may have come up. (For some reason, the Ultimate comics always seem to have movies about the characters popping up; there were actually a six issues story with Peter Parker getting fed up with Sony and Sam Raimi, Avi Arad, and Tobey Maguire for making a movie without his consent.)
- bjs3171, on 12/10/2007, -2/+4jesus, that bat suit looks a bit ridiculous considering the tone of the last movie. In the last movie, however, there seemed to be a lot of cool details that were just spray painted over in that scene where he's painting his suit.
- KyleRayner, on 12/10/2007, -1/+3Discussed it where?
- Elranzer, on 12/10/2007, -0/+1That new Bat Suit is Kilmer-esque.
- nigdef, on 12/10/2007, -0/+1what was wrong with the look of the suit from the the last movie
- Shakermaker, on 12/10/2007, -0/+1Thanks! Looks like the link is working now.
- 1ofMany, on 12/10/2007, -0/+1Iron Man looks like he's crawled out of Hell to inflict some demon wrath on mankind. What's with the mouth on him?
- edwartica, on 12/10/2007, -0/+1I think the comparison of Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark is a classic comparison of introverts vs extroverts.
- KyleRayner, on 12/10/2007, -0/+1Thats a bit much for the bat-suit. I thought they were trying a Year One angle with this relaunch of the bat-movie series.
Sometimes it seems they go out of their way just to be different from the comics. - nigdef, on 12/10/2007, -0/+1the new suit is so similar to the clooney one
- Shakermaker, on 12/10/2007, -1/+2*sigh*
Anyone got a mirror? - CannedMango, on 12/10/2007, -0/+1Apparently they wanted the suit to be more flexible so they based it off of some body armour designs.
- inactive, on 12/10/2007, -3/+4New suit looks awesome.
- op12, on 12/10/2007, -0/+1Here's the Batman pic (with comparison to the Batman Begins suit):
http://www.chud.com/index.php?type=news&id=12848 - inactive, on 12/10/2007, -2/+2batman has more bat suits then my girlfriend has shoes... stop it
- bobitchq, on 12/10/2007, -1/+1I think the new mask is badass.
- Vapor17, on 12/10/2007, -1/+1There are too many version of Bruce Wayne to say that
IMO - Armor1901, on 12/10/2007, -3/+1Let's hope the suit isn't an omen for the rest of the movie...
- Stemnin, on 12/10/2007, -3/+0Yeah.. the game needs a batman and iron man mod..
- postalblowfish7, on 12/10/2007, -8/+3in other news, modern comic book movies continue to be incredibly over-commercialized piles of politically correct executive boardroom written dog drivel. i'll take tim burton's batman over this dark knight horse ***** any day.
