- Xaevier, on 08/10/2009, -1/+33At first I thought it was another mystery men style movie...then she blew somebody's cheek/mouth off O_o
- WyttEarp, on 08/10/2009, -1/+22I can't wait... I really hope that these over-the-top violent comic movies will help to bring the other tame (I'm looking at you Marvel) comic movies to a higher standard.
- Rollic, on 08/10/2009, -1/+13Very excited for the flick, though I think it's interesting that movie versions of Mark Millar comic books keep getting green-lit and completed before he even comes close to finishing the story in an actual comic book.
- CaptZomborg, on 08/10/2009, -1/+12I'm probably one of the few people who liked Mystery Men. I'll be sure to check this out.
- thinboyslim, on 08/10/2009, -0/+105 minutes of footage they showed at Comic Con here: http://digg.com/d3zj1d
- teddylj, on 08/10/2009, -0/+8$10 to anyone that can fight crime in NYC while wearing a goofy costume without super powers
Please post attempts on youtube for my viewing pleasure - lostngone, on 08/10/2009, -1/+7How about you keep your $10 and use it to learn the difference between a "clip" and a Magazine!
- DHracer, on 08/10/2009, -1/+7Link directly to Youtube for when site goes down http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFNRC8FupdA
- Lifer, on 08/10/2009, -0/+5Looks pretty sweet. Is that Nicholas Cage I saw in there too? Can't be too low budget.
- had3l, on 08/10/2009, -0/+4The budget was around $50 million I think.
And anyway, it's not uncommon for famous actors to do independent movies for a much lower rate than they would charge a big studio. - wixed, on 08/10/2009, -0/+4she's 12
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1631269/ - thekendon, on 08/10/2009, -1/+5I can't wait for this movie. I just hope the comic will finish before the movie comes out.
- lostngone, on 08/10/2009, -0/+4Why don't these companies just release the dam clips on the internet in the first place! Do the production companies really think these shaky cam "leaks" build any more anticipation then if they just released the actual clip?
Do these people really think that none of the 100 or so people they show this preview/test footage too that no one is going to sneak in some sort of recording device and then post it??? - TalahRama, on 08/10/2009, -0/+3It's good you said that twice. I might have missed your vital insight the first time.
- prettychristy, on 08/10/2009, -0/+3The only marvel comic book movies that stood true to the actual dark tone and violence of the comic are Blade 1 and 2. Reason? Because Marvel had zero involvement/input with Blade 1 and 2. Once Marvel provided their two cents, the result was Blade 3.
- Aretines78, on 08/10/2009, -0/+3Well, in the comic she is a kid. She and her dad are a team and pretty much make a bloody mess of people.
- withoutamartyr, on 08/10/2009, -0/+2I LOVE that music playing in the background while Hit Girl kicks some ass.
- oldn3ws, on 08/11/2009, -0/+2Scientology ad fail.
- inactive, on 08/10/2009, -0/+2Higher standard of violence maybe, but they have made some damn good comic book movies (Spider-Man 2, X2, Iron Man). It isn't like darker is always better, and X2 had some dark moments like Wolverine running through the mansion slicing everyone up.
Also, Kick-Ass is a Marvel comic book, so at least they license out to darker filmmakers. - guttersniper, on 08/10/2009, -0/+2That trailer looks BRAVEHEART!!
. . . I don't think I understand what you're doing. - bob_the_alien, on 08/10/2009, -0/+2http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AF21sihEgOU
- hatecr0w, on 08/10/2009, -2/+4I was personally looking forward to seeing the movie after I heard about it. Then I found out Nicholas Cage was in it. If he's such a "fan" of comic books, he should stop taking roles in them and let someone that can actually play the character take the job.
- fiskintl, on 08/10/2009, -1/+2$10 to anyone that can post attempts on youtube for my viewing pleasure
Please reload a gun by plunging a gun down over a clip while the clip is in mid air. - vanguardanon, on 08/10/2009, -1/+2After I had kids I went from going to the movies 20+ times a year to 4 or 5. This looks like the kind of movie that I won't miss.
- Rikushix, on 08/10/2009, -0/+1Well aren't you clever.
- Malik112099, on 08/10/2009, -3/+4$10 to anyone that can reload a gun by plunging a gun down over a clip while the clip is in mid air.
Please post attempts on youtube for my viewing pleasure. - djsun, on 08/10/2009, -0/+1Me too. It seems forever since the last issue came out.
- cwckc7, on 08/10/2009, -2/+3I thought it was another movie from the meet the spartans people at first, but this actually could be pretty good. i'll wait until better trailers hit the internet to pass judgment
- fcrow, on 08/10/2009, -0/+1the
- inactive, on 09/17/2009, -0/+1uhmm, CSI New York?
- inactive, on 09/17/2009, -0/+1The Comic Con really provided a lot of avenue for online game advertising... http://www.ad4game.com/
- musicbear, on 08/10/2009, -0/+1Here's hoping that Millar actually gets the next issue out before the movie's released. How long has it been since he's actually done ANYTHING on any of the comics he's attached to?
- danielvutrannn, on 08/10/2009, -1/+2Oh wow nevermind lol thanks
- banderwocky, on 08/10/2009, -1/+2Damn, I'm looking forward to this.
- robdiggity, on 08/10/2009, -0/+1I think it was from the old Kroft Superstars tv show?
- WyttEarp, on 08/10/2009, -0/+1I used to think that moment in X2 was fantastic, but over time it's started to pale for me. Yes those are my 3 favorite Marvel-made movies to be sure... but I don't think I've ever read a trade of any of them in recent years that wasn't darker, more violent, and more adult in nature than those movies were. I enjoyed them yes, but I want something for just a slightly older audience. In four movies starring Wolverine (basically) he uses his claws on people once.
- Larssonk22, on 08/10/2009, -2/+2Its like they got a pot threw in Watchmen with the campness of scooby doo, added a healthy dose of Tarantino and topped it off with Judd Apatow.
Looking forward of this!! - danielvutrannn, on 08/10/2009, -3/+3The girl sounds like a little kid lol. I was expecting an anime voice or a deep low girl voice, ones that archetype blonde detective lovers have. Lol.
- Aretines78, on 08/10/2009, -0/+0I don't think I missed an issue, but is the last issue the one where Hit Girl and Big Daddy have just been captured? If so, it has been a good while.
- bds369, on 08/10/2009, -2/+2but what about Boondock 2? :(
- StayPuft85, on 08/10/2009, -5/+4Well that looks stupid. Digg me down and enjoy your B movie fellas.

- yensed, on 08/10/2009, -12/+8Considering all the hype its been getting - It doesn't really look all that good.
- CasualNinja, on 08/10/2009, -8/+3That trailer looks KICK-ASS!!
- H3BR3W, on 08/10/2009, -8/+2Looks better than the ***** comic.
