- eivi, on 11/04/2009, -3/+292I'M SICK AND TIRED OF THESE ***** WILD THINGS ON THIS ***** TRAIN!
- Grova, on 11/03/2009, -5/+178Let the wild rumpus start!
- mtdna, on 11/04/2009, -0/+165How come the news is always telling us about terrible parents like Balloon Boy's and never telling us about awesome parents like this?
- kevio, on 11/04/2009, -26/+134This is better than the movie.
- skipvt, on 11/04/2009, -2/+95I would not ride with them on a train,
I would not ride with them on a plane.
Their presence is far from mundane,
and could possibly mean I'm insane. - Dundasbro, on 11/04/2009, -0/+68Who ***** in your cereal this morning?
- PowderedToasty, on 11/04/2009, -1/+53If you clicked on the picture thinking it was the "real" wild things, maybe YOU need to "GTFO".
- mrcoldcow, on 11/04/2009, -4/+48Hey look, it's David Blaine.
- xenex11, on 11/04/2009, -0/+36coolest parents...ever.
- feezus, on 11/04/2009, -2/+37Kev,
To me, the film was a reflection on childhood, and the necessity of growing up. The wild things behaved like Max, with no boundaries. Only when Max was put in a position of power and was forced to deal with their behavior did he realize how he had been acting and the difficulty it was causing others.
Also, they built a ***** fort. - DirtPile, on 11/04/2009, -0/+32Awesome parents shouldn't be news. Awesome parents should be everywhere, expected and expected.
- JEH225, on 11/04/2009, -5/+36i thought it was pretty awesome
- Maria0305, on 11/04/2009, -1/+28Adorable.
At first I didn't even notice the other child sitting down, holding the head to his costume. - practo, on 11/04/2009, -1/+18Longwood? Is that the mbta's green line?
- IMustBeEmo, on 11/04/2009, -3/+19it was the single most depressing thing I have ever seen.
- culbeda, on 11/04/2009, -3/+19I find your comment quite inane.
- dirtyword, on 11/04/2009, -0/+16what about all the other stereotypes?
- ACiDGRiM, on 11/05/2009, -0/+15There better not be an ace of clubs up my ass!
- jasoj2, on 11/04/2009, -2/+17So cute, I fear the world may indeed explode.
- lolque, on 11/04/2009, -1/+14We don't hate it, we just don't give a *****.
- feliphe, on 11/04/2009, -3/+16Boston E green line?
B line is for hipsters, the C line is for old jews, the D line is for semi-suburbanites, the E line is for northeastern kids, the blue line is for mexicans and the red line is awesome. and the silver line has two parts. one is ghetto and the other goes to the airport - anaxa, on 11/04/2009, -0/+11Dugg for brilliance.
- kevio, on 11/04/2009, -9/+18@Rhendal
Yes, me, my 3 year old daughter, her grandmother, and my wife watched it together. My daughter liked the characters. But we felt it was filled with nothing but depression and aggression. I thought the beginning was completely weak. We really needed something catastrophic to happen to set this off. Maybe if the dad died or something. Instead, he throws snowballs at his sister's older friends apparently expecting them not to retaliate. Then he gets mad and tears up her room melting snow. The mom helps him clean it up and he lashes out at her the first chance he gets (at dinner). Then he runs away. Lives with monsters and comes back home where his mom treats him like everything is OK. What is the message here? Act like an idiot and there are no consequences?
And yes, I had a childhood. - jcaino, on 11/04/2009, -1/+10win.
- davidg11, on 11/05/2009, -0/+8Ya, I'm not going to spoil it but...
Everyone dies in the end. - PigPong, on 11/04/2009, -0/+8(*Gun-shot*)
- celer1ty, on 11/04/2009, -0/+7I'd disagree.
- anotherjack, on 11/05/2009, -0/+7No, they should be celebrated. We have prizes for teachers, entertainers, firemen, everyone but parents. Quit taking em for granted, people!
- PowderedToasty, on 11/04/2009, -0/+6That's my train! Last week I saw a guy with a working speaker for a head, it was awesome.
- Tarkaan, on 11/04/2009, -1/+7I found where the wild things are at the Red Garter in Indy. Sleazy as hell. Good food though.
- inactive, on 11/06/2009, -0/+6We'll surely avoid scurvy if we all eat an orange.
- XHashmeerX, on 11/04/2009, -1/+7Are you kidding about the B-Line for hipsters? I live in Allston and take the B-line downtown to work everyday. Yeah some of the Hipsters take the B-Line, but it's mostly full of BU kids who are too lazy to walk a block to the next stop. Try riding it at night on a Friday or Saturday night. You'll want to stab your eyes out with the obnoxious and trashy BU girls on the train.
- TheSexyBeast821, on 11/05/2009, -1/+7I could write a thesis on this movie, seriously. There is an infinite amount of symbolism and metaphor applicable to nearly everything in life.
I'm sorry you guys missed out on it. - TinyE500, on 11/04/2009, -8/+13It was good, the music was amazing.
- jamwil87, on 11/05/2009, -0/+5news'

- 198o, on 11/04/2009, -0/+5"The Orange line. Get your white ass off at Mass Ave"
- TimmyOToole, on 11/05/2009, -1/+6That's what she said.
- kevio, on 11/04/2009, -13/+18I really wanted it to be great. The trailer really made it look like it would be. But it was long, with no real message, and no real story. It was just a bunch of self-loathing. My feeling is that if you are going to change the story and make it your own then you need make it better than the original. It wasn't.
- Lith25, on 11/10/2009, -0/+4The movie was one of the most touching and moving films I've seen in a long time. If you guys didn't get the relationship between Max and Carol, then maybe try paying attention next time you see it.
Also, the fort was the most badass thing I've ever seen. - PowderedToasty, on 11/04/2009, -0/+4It could be the D line, us semi-suburbanites have a Longwood stop too.
- ngaaih, on 11/04/2009, -0/+4so...he imagined the boat and really took the subway?
- TheSexyBeast821, on 11/05/2009, -0/+4You have a good brain.
- immatellyouwhat, on 11/04/2009, -1/+5I like how they have the eyes pointed down towards the kid, they did a really good job.
- justlior, on 11/04/2009, -0/+4And then they ate Max.
- Fighty, on 11/04/2009, -0/+4That's awesome.
