- whatthefu, on 10/11/2007, -8/+62But...but...it has Jessica Biel in it. I haven't seen it, but doesn't that count for something?
- AFJon, on 10/11/2007, -18/+67I don't know if I can believe anything said by someone who found "50 First Dates" funny
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -17/+59Oh give me a ***** break.
It's a comedy. Laugh.
The problem isn't in the movie, it's *you* for not having a ***** sense of humor - evident by the fact you thought 50 First Dates was funny. Fact: it was not.
I think racism and stereotyping is bad to LIVE by, but jokes? They can be funny, even those done in bad taste. It all depends on conveyance and intent. If you're intending to spread hate, then it's not really funny. If you're doing it just to be goofy, silly, or offensive for laughs, then it works great.
GTFO. - cycledesign, on 10/11/2007, -4/+43But Rob Schneider is Asian.
- skyfire1, on 10/11/2007, -3/+36Rob Schneider is a carrot!
- kjcramer, on 10/11/2007, -5/+33Saw it tonight, I don't care what this guy says-it's ***** funny and Jessica Biel is smokin.
- reddevil3, on 10/11/2007, -3/+28Rob Schneider is...the stapler!
- Chicken, on 10/11/2007, -18/+41Liven up a little. Its a ***** comedy movie, its not made to be factual.
- empressofmetal, on 10/11/2007, -7/+26I like Adam Sandler, but sometimes his movies just don't do it for me. For instance, "Little Nicky" seemed like it'd be my kind of movie, but it just was not funny. Now, Kevin James I love and have enjoyed anything he's in. But the clips I've seen of Chuck and Larry all seem like Adam Sandler just cannot do this role. He's not funny in the trailers. Maybe if they'd paired Kevin James with someone else it have worked. And the gay jokes, they are awkward and just don't work.
- zorvi4, on 10/11/2007, -2/+20BEEP, BOP, BEEP... AWESOM-O MOVIE IDEA NO. 243. Adam Sandler likes girls but has act like he doesn't because of same sex marriage or something.. BEEP, BEEP..... TOTALLY LAME
- Amplix, on 10/11/2007, -1/+18Damn his stupid.....?
- CornStarch, on 10/11/2007, -0/+17Many Filipinos do consider themselves Asian.
- Elranzer, on 10/11/2007, -2/+19She's in it to lure homophobic straight guys to have an excuse to see the movie. Unfortunately, it didn't work.
- ajchavar, on 10/11/2007, -2/+16rob schneider is, der derp der dum da deedily derpa dumpa doo!
- modafroman, on 10/11/2007, -3/+17... what, aside from the fact that its a blatent rip off of the story line of the Australian film Strange Bedfellows? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0360032/
- thinman1189, on 10/11/2007, -7/+21I stopped reading when he said that 50 First Dates was funny.
- Elranzer, on 10/11/2007, -0/+13Oh, the irony.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -6/+19I forgot that everyone gets offended about everything these days...
- Tippis, on 10/11/2007, -0/+12Yes, but sometimes, he changes the volume of his yelling ever so slightly.
- Elranzer, on 10/11/2007, -2/+14The worst part about this movie is that Adam Sandler is chewing gum literally throughout the entire movie (pay attention to the trailer if you don't believe me).
- Arkonnan, on 10/11/2007, -6/+18Apparently, it wasn't made to be funny either.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+15I, for one, find your comment offensive. I am hereby requesting that you apologize and visit sensitivity training.
/sarcasm - charliespopcan, on 10/11/2007, -2/+13From what I remember, I think he's half Filipino, from a documentary I saw a while back.
- xxbrighteyed, on 10/11/2007, -3/+13why do you like adam sandler? he makes the same movie over and over again, all he does is change the situation they're in and uses the same jokes
- xxbrighteyed, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10that movie is terrible, and i'm australian !
- pintomp3, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10silly, of course the gays don't have an emperor. they have a queen.
- ByronT, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8I'm sure he stole that quote from somebody else.
- Area51mafia, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8South Park episode where Cartman dresses up as a robot named AWESOM-O to trick Butters. They somehow get to Hollywood (don't quite remember how) and "AWESOM-O" becomes a movie idea producing robot for the Movie Studios. He pitches a bunch of movie ideas, with almost all of them starring.........Adam Sandler.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -11/+18It's a comedy, don't give me that BS about stereotyping and racism.
- dragon76, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7Damon Romine is not the emperor of gay people!
- Trax91, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7Philipines is in the South East Asia. I can say they are 100% Asian.
- steveoco, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7You got that right, its very blatant! Not to mention that one of the actors worked with Rob schneider
- JimmyTheClam, on 10/11/2007, -3/+10Bury - Lame
Thanks for playing! - afruff23, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8He was referring to the mockery of Asians with Rob Schneider's characters. At one point, Adam Sandler remarks to Schneider something about not being able to find enough "doll-hairs" to pay him.
- xerus, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9"This marriage of convenience quickly starts spinning out of control as a fraud investigator (Steve Buscemi)" I'm sold.
- L4WL3RS34L, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6Have you noticed how Kevin James always does something gay in his movies. Like "Hitch" where he tries kissing Will Smith.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6Ving Rhames was perfect for the role. Terry Crews is jokes 24/7, where this character was not.
- ashrafneo, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6best series of comments on digg... "Damn his stupid?" LOL
- joekix, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6carlos mencia is a tool
- uptown, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7Yeah, that defense worked for Imus....
- cevil203, on 10/11/2007, -4/+9Am i sterotypical and racist when i say Eddie Griffin cant drive?
- geekchick82, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6As one of the 'early 20's females', I should be offended - but sadly, that's true.
- MacEnvy, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Take it easy on Will. Anchorman? Come on, it's brilliant.
- xxbrighteyed, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7sandler killed comedy
- sfpfc, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7The film was screened prior to release for the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD). GLAAD representative Damon Romine told Entertainment Weekly magazine: "The movie has some of the expected stereotypes, but in its own disarming way, it's a call for equality and respect
- decepticrat, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5HA! That's ***** great, Argus! See, now THAT would have made for some awkward-funny.
- praisethelard, on 06/06/2008, -8/+13Yeah, well, Filipino's don't consider themselves Asian. They're Pacific Islander.
- Elranzer, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5You don't see bad Hollywood movies just because it's got a hot chick in it. You see porno movies because they have hot chicks in them.
- TheKingOfHell, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4That movie is terrible, and i'm human!
