- Wingnut233, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I'd have to disagree with you. Sectorsev.org is an official viral website for the Transformers movie. It's based off of the fictional military group, 'Sector Seven'. While this isn't an official announcement, it's a playful hint from an official source.
- FizixMan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Coincidentally. Me and my brother constantly refer to this actor as "Agent Elrond." Now what will we call him? Diggnation, don't fail us now!
EDIT: Oh and also, we like to say "Tell me Mr.Baggins... what good is a ring, if you have no fingers?" *pretend fingers are melting together* - Tallon29, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Uh, voiceovers are postproduction and are easly inserted at the last minute.
- cinnix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4"Optimus prime.... surprised to see me?"
- anti_hax0r, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I like the cross dressing Hugo myself
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109045/ - Bungo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Last I heard it was a toss-up between Weaving and Welker.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I don't trust either
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Uh, it kinda has to be confirmed. The movie's coming out in a few months..
- doctorcaligari, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I think you're referring to "Jem". She was truly outrageous. It came on after Transformers in my area.
- crackedplastic, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4@mrmagenta:
IMDB isn't always accurate. On Frank Welker's website, he said it's still not confirmed. - obrysii, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2With heavy voice distortion it'll be awesome.
- antoniojvr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I loved Ain't it Cool headline for this article:
Miissttterrr Prime... One energon cube to rule them all... Remember Remember Megatron's voice?!?! (http://www.aintitcool.com/node/32023) - Wingnut233, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Edit timer ran out before I could post this last bit of info: To see it for yourself, go to www.sectorseven.org. The password is NBETWO. Click on the scorpion, and read the 'Counter-Information Campaign' e-mail about 'Agent H. Weaving'.
- allisonaxe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Fizixman: you can call him "Agent V. Megatron of Rivendell."
- Fi9nutz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Hugo Weaving is ALMOST as awesome as Samuel L Jackson...almost
- TigerClaw, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Its pretty much confirmed on Michael Bay's blog.
http://michaelbay.com/blog/newsblog.html - haleym, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Regardless of who they get to do the voices, I sure hope the actual human acting in the movie is better than what's in those sectorseven videos... those made me cringe...
- fletcher008, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2did you see the mock ups of megatron? it looks more like the shrike from the hyperion novels than the cartoon version.
im still waiting to check this movie out, but im a bit wary of the final outcome. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1>.< But he sure doesnt sound like Megatron..
- acdcfanbill, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3well michael bay might do stuff differently, but in most animated applications, voice over work is done first, so they can match up the characters actions and look to the actors vocal performance.
- keyboardduder, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2TANK
HALNDHELD WEAPON
CANNON
NOT STARSHIP!!!!! - deadsanchez, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That design looks like megatron's throwup.
- EmperorAwesome, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That would be so freakin' sweet.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0You have a bad feeling because Michael Bay hasnt released one good movie yet.
(And that's not an opinion - go look it up on IMDB - it's all cliche cheesy blockbusters with no plot whatsoever) - fluffykittenear, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Haha, that sector7 stuff made me lol
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Haha, you apparently don't know much about how movies are made.
Voiceovers are not done months before it comes out.
The movie is pretty much done at this point. To not have a clue as to who is doing the main voice is silly. Trust me, the actors are established and are already done with the voices. - sarahes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i dont know too much about megatron, i was too busy watching gem...but i do love some hugo weaving. he has a fantastic voice.
- mds76, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Screw it. Bring in Will Smith, too.
- crackedplastic, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Hey, I agree. While voiceover work can be done in post-production, it seems odd that the voice actors can't confirm their role in the film ... with only four months to go. Yikes.
- SuperCUBE, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3Why do I have a bad feeling about this film? I mean, last year I thought this movie was just going to rock my nuts off, but now.... I don't know. They don't even have their voice actors figured out?
I'm betting that they do and this is just *****. - Paroparo, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1In before Agent Smith/Elrond/Megatron photoshopped into one.
- soulonice, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1Wait, this movie is supposed to open in July, and they don't have the cast decided upon yet? What lame-O is running this show?
- WolfwoodX, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1He was also in Star Wars
- mrmagenta, on 10/12/2007, -9/+2buried as inaccurate it is Frank Welker playing Megatron...
link to his imdb
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0919798/ - greensauce, on 10/12/2007, -13/+2http://imdb.com/title/tt0418279/
Megatron is Frank Welker
Optimus is Peter Cullen
IMDB is more accurate than some possible e-mail from some guy no one knows on some website that isn't credible

What is Digg?
