We're just incredibly shallow in different ways. It sucks, but it's what we've been breed for. It might change one day, that'd be nice. But for now that's the genetic programming we're stuck with.

For those wondering how much of chauvinist am I, I have to say that all of the above are conclusions made by anthropology, of how the typical women were through human prehistory (and history apparently).
Women of our day are a lot better at resisting their natural urges to be bitches (only caring for their offspring, eventually, seeing males as tools, either sperm donors -the "hunk"- or protectors -the "husband" type). Our women are far better than in other parts of history, so we'd better be grateful, in fact they should also be grateful because we (males) are far less of savages (some even say that men have become "too" tame for their own good). It's still visible -I guess- the bitchy side of women and the "pig" side of men to this day, the fact that we're ACTUALLY combating those natural states of being out of our free will means that we're evolving, not physically but mentally this time...
