- Stonedonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+110As long as you don't show a nipple, everything is just peachy, ain't it...
- monergism, on 10/12/2007, -2/+50Sadly American's children are too sheltered to understand that meat comes in a raw form called animals.
- unloud, on 10/12/2007, -1/+47Or say *****.
- xipotec, on 10/12/2007, -1/+43So this is ok, but one ***** tit isn't. It's SOOO twisted that violence is so accepted but porn is so taboo.
- agentofchange, on 10/12/2007, -3/+39I'd rather be surrounded by "sexual deviants" than a bunch of blood-thirsty, gore-crazy, emotionally unstable Horror nerds.
- StellarlyAstral, on 10/12/2007, -1/+29Thanks for giving us a link that makes us squint to see the image.
- joshross4, on 10/12/2007, -1/+28It looks likes hotdogs. Or the stuff they put in hotdogs.
- spidoman, on 10/12/2007, -2/+22It was accepted because you can't tell what the crap it is.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+21I miss good horror movies; these hostel and saw type of movies lack traditional elements of horror and are mostly dominated by pure torture themes. Ugh.
- toekneebullard, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16I find it funny that people blame their own prejudices on the creator. I see a torn up piece of beef. Sure, I know what it's SUPPOSED to represent, but why get offended when it's something you eat every day?
- TheG2, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15Yes:

Can the picture of the poster be any smaller? - Misogyny, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12I don't know. I live in Minnesota, and just about every eight year old girl here could probably gut a grouse or at least help gut a deer.
- Amusing, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12I'd rather my daughter see a boob, or nudity in general, then someone with a nasty gunshot, stab wound, ect. any day.
- redsox59, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13Why is it that you associate rednecks with gutting animals for food?
- andreascliment, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14Come ***** on. I'm not really a horror fan, but this is just a shot of meat, the violence is in your imagination.
- DoctorDuckey, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14Eli Roth, the director, went to my school. Apparently he was a total psycho. I'm not surprised that Roth wanted to go with this poster.
- happygiraffe88, on 10/12/2007, -6/+16Who gives a ***** about what "the Muslims" think?
- EXreaction, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Yep, people seriously go overboard trying to "protect" kids from porn(really, all I see is them damaging their kids, and damage from ignorance is very bad).
Violence is much worse than porn(and I am not talking about some of that nasty "extreme" porn where violence usually is a part of it, I simply mean nudity). - pearbobber, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10here's a link to a really small image of the poster: http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/6162/hostsmalsf5.jpg
- EXreaction, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12Thanks for the link MangoFresh. :D
Looking at it, I really don't see the problem. If someone has a problem with that picture they'd better be a vegetarian, all it is is some meat covered in fat... - redsox59, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10But the thing is is that its meant to be human flesh, given the context of the movie.
- SkittlesUSA, on 10/12/2007, -4/+12Hostel was a terrible movie and an advertisement for Hostel II shouldn't even exist.
- lgc90, on 10/12/2007, -5/+12THE BIG ONE: http://img374.imageshack.us/img374/7851/hostelpartii20061212091pd4.jpg
- tmgeorgo, on 10/12/2007, -4/+10I do. Context is the key here. Taken as a single image, its meat. Something you might see in a grocery store weekly ad. Taken as a whole, as it is meant to be taken--a poster advertising a torture horror movie brought to you by people who are known to push boundaries, and the poster makes my stomach turn. I think it is excessive and gross, but then again I think the same thing about the movie franchise. Never seen Hostel, never will. Those movies and that culture are not something I want to be a part of or enable.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Mmm... soylent green on a bun.
- Ryan001, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7@Joshross4
Must have not read the article. That's wild boar. - Misogyny, on 10/12/2007, -5/+10I've found they are often the same people. Or should I say "we"...
- satanscool, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6What the ***** does eating meat have to do with a horror movie poster. Are you a meat industry lobbyist?. Your whole comment was sooooo out of context.
- kevinmotel, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7they're just jealous their governments don't allow movies like this in their country. so they have sour grapes about it. 'we can't have it, oh well it must be bad as well as propaganda from the great satan'
- soogy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Oh, now I see what it is. What's the big deal? You see worse than that at your local supermarket.
- hwulykthmapples, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I get what you mean, Horror Movies have become more shock and awe based rather than suspense and fear (Remember Aliens? Arachnophobia ?
- Lain1k, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Why did they use a McDonald's hamburger patty for the poster?
- virtualball, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5mikefitx2, thats the smartest thing I've seen all day (It's only 2:30 PM so don't get ahead of yourself :P ) Horror movies used to be "Will she survive" and "I wonder how it will end!" But now horror movies only consist of guys waking up in crates of limbs (The Hills Have Eyes), getting a pole through a head (House of Wax) and having your tendents cut in "torture porn' (Hostel Part 1 :) ) It's sad that all I will get to see is blood and no real plot :(
I miss Alien. - Misogyny, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3So is porn. Not that I'm complaining.
- hyperblackchi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Clearly this was the scraped poster of Good Burger 2
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I can't stand modern horror movies. There is nothing wrong with having a bit of fear in a film, but it's supposed to be the exciting type of fear, not just showing torture scenes. Making this type of fear be seen as normal by society is a process of desensitization. If you were to show one of these movies to an audience 50 years ago, they would be in shock. Today, it's just your average everyday horror film.
If people think that these things are ok in films, what will they think when seeing images of war? How will they react to a second holocaust or inquisition? - Lumiras, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3The real problem I have with the poster is the fact that it says absolutely nothing about the movie.
Yeah, it's a bit gross and gruesome, but nothing worse than what you would see at the meat counter at your local supermarket.
When meat is enlarged and zoomed in that much, anything is going to look disgusting (insert obvious penis joke here)
But, the thing is, the poster simply says "here, this is meat, look....gross, eh?". It doesn't make me excited for the film, it doesn't make me wonder what the film will be about (although that's obvious), and it overall just doesn't catch my interest. Don't blame this poster on the production company being sadistic and disgusting.......blame it on them being lazy - PunkRampant, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6Hey, I really like Saw. If you're gonna try and classify it as a "horror" movie then of course you'll be disappointed. It's more of a super-gross mystery thriller.
Hostel is like Saw, except with less mystery thriller and more in-your-face gore and porn. I don't really see the value of Hostel. - 3dom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2You're right, I actually find horror movies that use psychological methods to unsettle you and actually leave it to your imagination a bit more a lot scarier. Hitchcock ftw
- Knivez, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"Hostel II takes gruesome graphics a step over the line"
What the *****?
Didn't the poster for the first movie pictured a ***** drill down one guy's throat? - EXreaction, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Look up a few...
- MrFoodMonster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Hostel is one of the worst movies of all time. Just plain awful.
- KMartSheriff, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2AMEN! Hostel = worst movie ever made. Eli Roth should kill himself.
- troublemaker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2What the hell is wrong with this poster?
It's meat! You eat it every day!?
(Well, not me, I'm a vegetarian, but I'm not offended by it) - ThecNiqueMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2A sequel to the most boring movie ever. I felt that Hostel was made by a 13yrd old, with all this completely useless nudity.
- orbanj, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2that's a lot of typing for being dugg down
- usernam3, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3"I think it is excessive and gross, but then again I think the same thing about the movie franchise. Never seen Hostel, never will."
-tmgeorgo
You make judgements about these movies, as if you have actually seen them! I tip my hat to you, sir, in hopes that you use your powers of prejustice for good and not stupid. - jnorris441, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Looks like the inside of you mom's pussy. Oh snap.
