- Scopitone, on 10/11/2007, -1/+117It's great based solely on the fact that he can now TURN HIS ***** HEAD!
- AoiTakuma, on 10/11/2007, -1/+85Yeah I love the new angle of the movies. Its great how all of the trinkets are based in science.
- noeljohnhoward, on 10/11/2007, -2/+80helluvuh lot better than this

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0UJaprpxrk - budissy001, on 10/11/2007, -1/+61they should burn all copies of batman 3 and 4. then find Schumacher and kick him in the balls.
- sockpuppets, on 10/11/2007, -10/+68It's missing nipples.
- nubnub, on 10/11/2007, -3/+56The last movie owned this one should too.
- lest78, on 10/11/2007, -4/+48I have just watched the first four films back to back... and not in order. Started with Forever, then Batman, then 'and Robin', and then Returns. The first film is still a "not bad flick", the biggest mistake was killing the Joker... I hate it when they kill of bad guys in comic book films. Returns is quite good, but Penguin and Catwoman really do steal the show. Michelle Pfeiffer is great and soooooooo sexy. As for the two Schumacher films... they are gay. There's no two ways about it... those films are dripping with gay innuendo and the films really do suffer for it. I think the downside to all the films is that they never explain who built the batcave or how and why Bruce has the suit and weapons... something that Nolan absolutely nailed in Batman Begins, which is by far the best Bat film so far. And also for the first time ever... it actually got to me that this guy is dressing up as a bat and running around town with no powers... thats quite literally a crazy man right there... but because he is fighting crime no one cares.
That was kinda rambling. - thatsmyaibo, on 10/11/2007, -0/+43I loved the Tim Burton ones, but as more info is released, I cannot wait for the Dark Knight. Nolan has done amazing things with this franchise and after seeing what the Joker will look like (which I was uneasy about when I heard Ledger was portraying him), the new costume, and reading 20 pages of the script I got through work, I am counting down the days.
- noeljohnhoward, on 10/11/2007, -3/+40it looks pretty much the same but its actually really different from the last movie when you compare the two. http://www.theage.com.au/ffximage/2005/10/18/batman_begins_big_051018100848275_wideweb__300x371,1.jpg i thinkit looks pretty good

- consonance, on 10/11/2007, -3/+35I hate the 90's.
- whatthefu, on 10/11/2007, -10/+35THANK GOD it doesn't have nipples.

Stop using it. - timusca, on 10/11/2007, -0/+19Here's the original nippleman costume.
http://www.spacejunk.org/spacejunk/wp-content/images/humour/batman&robin_pics012.jpg - ajchavar, on 10/11/2007, -6/+23theres just a few too many blocky rubber things on it for me, it should be sleeker.
also, no nipples ever again - MOJIRA, on 05/17/2008, -0/+17I agree it does look a little robotic and in the future it may look pretty retro, but I think the individual sections/divisions in the suit are for increased mobility. I'm not sure how much they changed the cowl, but it seems to look much better also. I trust the director, he hasn't let me down with any of his movies yet.
- rebotfc, on 10/11/2007, -3/+19looks awesome. Really like how they make it not look stupid and over the top, whilst keeping the batman symbolism & look.
- bigfinger, on 10/11/2007, -3/+19kinda odd huh, seeing as to how they went with the whole realistic story. Black suit, Black cape, walks around at night but the bright ass gold belt never gives him away?

- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -7/+21Love the cowl. Love the gloves.
I think it's too busy. Hate the belt. Hate the shoulders. Let's not be Joel Schumacher all of a sudden. - Turnus, on 10/11/2007, -0/+14No more awkward full body rotations, Keaton was the king of those.
- aykay, on 10/11/2007, -4/+18sure. in real life. we're talking about a millionaire vigilante ninja dressing up like a bat and punching villains. do we really need to get into semantics about "bullets" and "making sense"?
- thatsmyaibo, on 10/11/2007, -0/+13I agree with you for the most part. I think the combination of Batman with Tim Burton's style worked great for the first 2. Those were amazing movies. The following 2 killed the series and Nolan did a great job of reviving it. I would love to see what he could do with some other villains like Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and since Harvey Dent is in this one, Two Face.
- vcleniuk, on 10/11/2007, -4/+15It's all about the marketing... each new Batman movie has it's own stack of NEW! Batman action figures, collectibles, halloween costumes, etc. $$$$$
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -4/+14Agreed. The belt sucks.
Batman 89 had the best suit, even with its clunkiness. - bigfinger, on 10/11/2007, -5/+14I liked the last suit better, sans the belt in both. Why do they always feel the need to change the suit? Is the costume designer just trying to 1 up the last costume designer?
- airship, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9I thought Bruce Wayne was a sophisticated billionaire. Doesn't he know better than to wear a brown belt with a black suit?
- MackPrime, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9i wouldnt be surprised if its modified throughout the course of the film.
- ChuyMatt, on 10/11/2007, -2/+11THE AMBIGUOUSLY GAY TRIO!!!
- ChairShot83, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9The idea of 'pieced' armor is not a bad idea at all. I cringe whenever I see the costume bulge and crease everytime the actor moved a certain way. Anyone remember when Michael Keaton looked up at the walkway in the alley in Batman ('89)? He had to adjust his entire upperbody. And the karate stance against the Joker thug? Eww..
I jut don't know why it took nearly 20 years to finally get the head and neck right.. - VeritechX, on 10/11/2007, -4/+12I really hate it when they make stupid changes in comic book movies. Certain things I wont stand: Why the ***** they killed off blue team leader in x3 (cyclops)? Why Venom was so god damn scrawny. Why Topher Grace played Brock. Why Superman was portrayed like Jebus. Why Optimus has gay flames and lips (looks like his mouth cover is retractable....why??) But, I do accept changes for the better: Like spider-man having organic webshooters... that's pretty much it :/ ...This new suit still has the old school Batman look to it, with subtle, modern touches. He was portrayed as a ninja in Begins, thus, this suit is playing off of that.
- rebotfc, on 10/11/2007, -6/+14Watching the tim burton batman's again recently was a kind of wierd experience, I had remembered them from my childhood as being awesome, but now they just appear a bit stupid and crappy. His batman 2 batsuit was like a big black condom, not cool.
- MagnetoWasRight, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8The suit is waaaaaaaaaay more important in action than it is in the kind of posed shots this image is indicative of. If this new suit will allow for more movement and an overall more dynamic physical performance by Bale, then it is most definitely an improvement. Am I a big fan of the ridges? Not particularly, but I can see how they'll weave it into the film with WayneTech military applications or whatever. While any nerd would rather have the grey cloth so it looks like the comic book version, that is somewhat impractical for a movie like this.
Really, it's like what they did with the Spider-Man suit. Sacrificed some of its "comic-bookiness" for something that would look a bit better on screen. Which, really, is fine by me. - Reno582, on 10/11/2007, -2/+10Looks like version 2 of the battle suit he used for the bat suit in the original.
- sagien, on 10/11/2007, -3/+9...playboy billionaire..
- orph3us, on 10/11/2007, -3/+9he doesn't have any :)
- mwmccullough, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7I'm just happy he can finally move his head around. Seeing Batman in a full-body cast of sorts always felt unnerving. He's free. Batman is finally FREEEEE!
- Jugalator, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7"Zap!" http://www.pmpnetwork.com/photos6/BurtWard.jpg
- lest78, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6I like that all the bag guys are powerless unlike other superhero movies. I would like to see Nolan tackle the Penguin and also Riddler. He'll prob do Two Face in the next flick, end this one with harvey getting his face sprayed with acid or whatever
