Holy Bad News, Batfans! No 'Dark Knight' Sequel for 2 Years

news.yahoo.com — Holy bad news, Batfans. Looks like a Dark Knight sequel is at least two years away. Director Christopher Nolan has inked a deal with Warner Bros. to helm Inception, based on his own screenplay. The sci-fi action film "set within the architecture of the mind" aims to begin shooting this summer and hit theaters in summer 2010, according to studio.

    It just says that Chris Nolan is working on another project, not that he's doing another project and then another Bat movie. We don't even know that he's doing a third Batman movie, anyways.

    So far he is doing exactly what he did with Begins/The Prestige. Stop turning this into a story. It's not.

The article then amplifies this by stating "at least" 2 years. Summer 2010 is NOT "at least" years, but closer to 18 months. Someone at E! Online needs to learn basic math skills.

    We are in 2009. That is today. Nolan's next movie, NOT BATMAN, will be released in summer 2010. Now, this is where the article asks for you to do a little thinking "outside the box," diggtards. This means that the next Batman, if it ever happens (the article does not say one way or another if it will), would be released in 2011 at the earliest. I hope I've helped clear things up for some of you idiots.

    The other side of the coin is that Nolan is too good of a director to lock himself into one superhero franchise for too long. He's going to want to more prestigious films than summer blockbusters and thats the real danger.
