- casbboy, on 12/21/2007, -3/+46Looks like a step up from the first installment

^^^ This is why Guillermo del Toro is awesome. What other director in Hollywood could deliver such a beautiful cinematic entity? This guy doesn't just create cool monsters, he translates art to the screen. - Dreamscar, on 12/21/2007, -0/+35Dugg for: Being awesome, Ron Perlman, Guillerimo Del Toro, Selma Blair's weird hotness, Rammstein's 'Mein Herz Brent', hell, just DUGG!
- inactive, on 12/21/2007, -2/+35This movie looks like it could be better than the first!
- Spideristic, on 12/21/2007, -3/+30My excitement for 2008 movies peaked cause of the teaser trailers of "Iron Man" and "The Dark Knight", now "Hellboy II - The Golden Army" joins that list.

http://www.hellboymovie.com/ - InitialDMP5, on 12/21/2007, -0/+20I think after the warm reception Pan's Labyrinth had, Del Torro was given more freedom to create his wild characters and really tell an intricate story that just happens to be in the hellboy universe. A couple of those creatures should have been in Pan's Labyrinth.
- casbboy, on 12/21/2007, -1/+16I watched it again, such an improvement. There is a whole bunch going on in this one. Not limited to a single villain or two
- dunk71, on 12/21/2007, -0/+14John Hurt? A bad voice? Have you no culture, sir?
- noblepenguin, on 12/21/2007, -1/+13Do you know what a troll is? It's not someone who compliments an actor on how well he fits a role. Usually someone who sounds more like you, actually.
- haterofps3, on 12/21/2007, -1/+13I feel like I just got rick rolled, but didn't.
- dunk71, on 12/21/2007, -1/+12Hey, let's all make posts that pointlessly attack the previous poster without any qualification!
*****. - Ghoztt, on 12/21/2007, -0/+10I really enjoyed the first. I hope this is just as good.
- vinht426, on 12/21/2007, -0/+10i totally see and get what you mean, but what is up with del Toro and his obsession with blind monsters having eyes in places other than the face? lol
- newbietheatre, on 12/21/2007, -0/+10My favorite part of Hellboy is all the different folklore used. This looks pretty cool and I like that the BPRD is now more of a team.
- p014k, on 12/21/2007, -0/+9I'm loving the Rammstein in the trailer :D
- noblepenguin, on 12/21/2007, -0/+8The part where you put HD = youtube is, I think, what gave you away there.
- shauncullen, on 12/21/2007, -0/+8Jeffrey Tambor FTW!!! Also, thank jesus for Del Toro being a badass producing a badass movies based on badass comic books.
- everythingiknow, on 12/21/2007, -1/+9Luke Goss is the villain! He's an OK actor but in the UK we cant forget his pop career:

- anteyekon4myst, on 12/21/2007, -0/+7HP Lovecraft's Cuthulo Mythos is awesome. Thats what all this mythology is based on.
- thirteenthcor, on 12/21/2007, -0/+7DUGG!!! For Mein Herz Brennt!!!!!! Gawd i'd wish they would come to Texas.
- EmperorChow, on 12/21/2007, -3/+9saw the production pictures, pretty cool to see some of those things come to fruition in the trailer. next year is going to be another comic filled movie year. Not that I'm complaining....
Plus can someone answer me why all my comments are automatically dugged down? It's not like all my comment are crap. - s0nicfreak, on 12/21/2007, -0/+5I'm not even going to say what I thought that thumbnail was.
- Mooky555, on 12/21/2007, -2/+7He should hang out with Blue Man.
- nutsackninja, on 12/21/2007, -3/+8your moms 4/10
- Frostman3D, on 12/21/2007, -2/+7Please don't suck! Please don't suck!
- mugwumpz, on 12/21/2007, -0/+5This looks like a lot of fun. What blows me away is that Ron Perlman is 57, and still able to pull off roles like this under all those prosthetics. Now THAT's an Action Hero!
- dawgma, on 12/21/2007, -0/+5I came here just to see if anyone else thought so too.

- rebotfc, on 12/22/2007, -0/+3You guys need to see Luke Goss in Del Toro's Blade II, he was amazing as the hunted hybrid vampire.
Very underestimated! - GoatRoper, on 12/21/2007, -0/+3The kids and I loved the first one, I see no reason why this one looks any different
- Mr.Gone, on 12/21/2007, -0/+3She did, too bad that other hooker pulled it out for crack money.
- enzobot24, on 12/21/2007, -0/+3I always thought Mein Herz Brennt would be perfect for a movie trailer.
- casbboy, on 12/21/2007, -0/+3I noticed some Pan's Labyrinth comments here. Does anyone else think Guillermo was ABSOLUTELY CHEATED during last year's Oscars for not getting one himself?
Show of hands... - enzobot24, on 12/21/2007, -0/+3Looks great.
del Torro does amazing things with shoe-string budgets... just like Robert Rodriguez. The last Hellboy was made for next to nothing and it looked relatively expensive. - WyrmSlayer, on 12/21/2007, -1/+3Thanks! I was wondering what that song was... it sounded SO familiar... :D
- dcharti, on 12/21/2007, -0/+2Hellboy 1 was awesome. Hellboy 2 looks awesomer.
Yea, that's right: awesome-er. - buckrogers1965, on 12/21/2007, -0/+2It appears to me that 2008 is going to be a "go to the theater every week" kind of year. There seems to be so many good movies coming out. It's been a few years since I have wanted to see more than one or two movies at the theater in a year.
- TotalHalibut, on 12/21/2007, -0/+2Stinking hypocrite.
- sparced, on 12/21/2007, -3/+5Blue Man and George Bluth Sr.
- bossm4n, on 12/21/2007, -1/+3And that one looks like it could have been in Pan's Labyrinth as well. He has an amazing vision.
- acdcfanbill, on 12/22/2007, -1/+3The trailer for the first Hellboy used two Dimmu Borgir songs which surprised me too. Apparently whoever cuts the Hellboy trailers has good taste in music. :)
- dunk71, on 12/21/2007, -0/+2Colourblind maybe? Or not appreciative of the UK spelling?
- plaing, on 12/21/2007, -2/+4that guy is messed up. i have no idea how he sleeps at night,
- truthiness, on 12/21/2007, -0/+2Gee, thanks for ruining the villain for me! Now when I see him try to bad ass I'll only think of him spasing around in that video. Oh well....
- EricAnderton, on 12/21/2007, -1/+3Its like a no-fail recipie for creepyness and eliciting a "whoa, no way *that's* human" kind of response.
Some directors just stick to hiding the actor's face or inviting some kind of sexual ambiguity. Apparently, Del Toro doesn't mess around with such cliches. -
