- rages4calm, on 10/12/2007, -4/+32Incase you did not notice there is a section on digg for movies with no specifications.
Harry Potter series is really good looking forward to seeing the next movie. - badtz, on 10/12/2007, -9/+33What's with everyone using "gay" in a derogatory manner? Is your vocabulary that limited?

- zinnate, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17Greystache, noooooooo!
- JWKEENAN, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18acting like a dick on DIGG? Yowza! Booorrrinnngg
Why would you even click on the link unless it were to somehow make up for the meaningless life you obviously lead, as shown by your well thought out statement and your reasonable use of your time.
I for one think the series is good and I am sick of hearing about PS3's/wii's and how Bush is retarded. It is nice to digg something that will entertain people. Which I suppose I should have dugg your comment as it has helped me be entertained for 2 minutes.
I want my 2 minutes back. - shaggtastic, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17What's the last book you read, oh mental giant?
It's fine to like things that are created for kids. - Eazy~e, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15Alex Albrect? is that you?
- SPThom, on 10/12/2007, -5/+18"That's retarded. And queer."
- sleze, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13And that is different from other movies-based-on-books how?
- xelloss, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14Digg has been showing off movie trailers since digg since it basically started.
- DrivinWest, on 10/12/2007, -4/+16So Hermione is legal now, right??
- sleze, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Check this website to find out if Hermione is legal in YOUR neck of the woods.
http://www.avert.org/aofconsent.htm - hotpepper, on 10/12/2007, -0/+717. The guy who plays Ron is 18, and the girl who plays Hermione is 16.
- sleze, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Is "gay" still synonymous with "happy" where you live?
- xSCREAMOx, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8he's.. 16 or 17.. they arent that old.
- LycoLoco, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9I just hope this movie turns out better than the last one. As a fan of the books, I really didn't like the 4th movie, just because it was so chopped up that it didn't even give a good indication of the book, but I guess that's the movie business for ya.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6we know... but if you read it... it says it's up on apple in hd.
- belola, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6http://images.apple.com/movies/wb/harry_potter-phoenix/harry_potter_phoenix-tlr1_h1080p.mov
This is the correct url. - reddevil3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Just 2 more years for Hermione.....I can wait.
- ejan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6It's better all those other high school movies with 30 year-old actors.
- bennyboy371, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Perv? Yes. Honest? Yes. Horrible? Thats a matter of opinion.
That said, she looks better and better. - badtz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Obviously, some of you didn't understand what I meant. Using the word "gay" is not a problem.
Example: Are you feeling gay today? Your gay friend is hot! etc. etc.
But using the word "gay" as in .... "that's a gay movie" ..... perpetuates the word as being synonymous with something negative, which in turn relates the word to gay (homosexual) people.
Which is inappropriate. IMO. - PotterChick958, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3@ ashwin: So the battle in the Ministry of Magic is boring then? OK. But I do agree that the movies have not lived up to the HP standard. They are good as stand alones, but compared to the book, they pale in comparison.
@ppinette: Um...so the random bird flying around the tree every 3 seconds had a point? That annoying head on the Knight Bus was in the book? Did you even read PoA? I'm sorry, but PoA was the worst adaptation of a HP book to date. They totally missed the point of the book, which was the background of the Marauders! And the fact that they were Animagi! I thought Newell did a good job with the darkness. I cried at both Cedric, and Harry's deaths. The darkness that Cuaron had was just from the cameras and lighting he used. Poor Dan himself did a crappy job of crying after hearing about Sirius Black in The Three Broomsticks from McGonagall. That was not dark. That was just crappy fake crying. As much as I love the series and Dan, I have to admit that.
But hey. That's just me. A crazed HP fangirl. - Zukunft, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Yeah, that whole part in the Ministry of Magic wasn't action packed at all...
- ppinette, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I actually thought the Prisoner of Azkaban was not so bad in comparison with the book. It was definitely the best movie to date. They should have made it a serious point to keep Alfonso Cuarón directing. The story gets darker throughout the series, and Mike Newell just didn't manage to maintain that darkness in the 4th movie.
- andy206uk, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5She's legal where I'm from and that's enough for me!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I agree with you there. It would have been excellent if they decided to make the movies Lord of The Rings length. Nonetheless, I love the movies and the books and I am eagerly awaiting the final book and the movies as well.
- excalibrax, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3So John Williams makes crappy music now....
News to me - DreKor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3and if she is, i'm betting most of the guys on this thread aren't.
- mandarin, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Sheesh go back to your porn collection pervs!
- hotpepper, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2She's 16. I don't know if that means she is 'legal' or not where you live.
- markdr123, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2So, talk about the actual trailer shall we?
I always found this the dullest book of the series, so I wasn't sure how the film would turn out. It does look reasonably good though. - PotterChick958, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2hahahah
www.dumbledoreisnotdead.com
Sadly, JKR herself said that Dumbledore was dead in her NY reading at the beginning of August. - deetank, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I'm about to start on Wizard and Glass after I finish The Eyes of The Dragon. I've heard about him referencing HP in one of them though, sounds pretty cool.
I love the Dark Tower, glad I'm still reading it for the first time. - CardinalFang, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@BearOwned
You're one of those losers that wait for child actors to turn 18, huh? - fiver22, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Hi, I'm fiver22 and I'm a sucker for Harry Potter. -Anyone else excited to see Potter references in Stephen King's Dark Tower series?
- kobaltorange, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah, this has been on Yahoo (in HD), for awhile...
- xSCREAMOx, on 10/12/2007, -6/+7it's the internet, what do you expect?
a bunch of uneducated 16yr olds.. or nerdy 24yr olds with a 16yr old brain capacity. - JWKEENAN, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2@PleaseJustDie
It is not a spoiler, it is public knowledge, Just because you have not taken the time to learn this on your own makes it your responsibility to keep the secret, not ours. You should not read anymore on Harry Potter as it will ruin your movie going experience. - hansamurai, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wow, dullest book? I think it is actually the best in the series so far. Umbridge is a great villain.
- Ryosen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@Anders
The last movie ran for over 2.5 hours. Just how long do they need to be? - monkeyness, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Same one. Don't know why you're being dugg down though; it was a valid question.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5950962388894207696 - mbthompson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Well gee, thanks for getting me all depressed all over again PotterChick. Dang.
- tj_walker_dvt, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Hmmm, no quicktime support for Linux available from Apple? Come on Steve, show us the love!

www.furrmusic.com - mbthompson, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Why the hell do we have to wait until July?! Have they no compassion! And what of the last book? When's that due? I want to know how it ends! I'm anxious, can you tell?
- PleaseJustDie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1@boomerxl
You do understand that some of us have watched the movies and not read the book right? That the movies haven't covered this and this is a thread about the upcoming movie? Therefore it is still a spoiler. - PotterChick958, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1@kookami
I cried when I first saw Dan's hair. I HATE it. HATE HATE HATE.
For a while, this was my favorite book, because of all the angsting of Harry. Though it did get tiring after a while, the end was so powerful. - boomerxl, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3@PleaseJustDie
You do realise that there is a time limit on spoilers. The book has been out for a year and a half. If you wanted to read it, you'd have done it by now. And if you were waiting for the movie...well then you deserve to have it ruined for you. - FyberOptic, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2It's true, I did as well whenever it first started showing up, but I don't recall if it hit Digg before (or at least front page), so I dugg it anyways.
