Cute, an adult who thinks Harry Potter is for kids only. Go back to reading your Grisham, if it makes you feel superior to the millions of adults who are adoring fans of Mrs. Rowling and her characters.
This trailer looks amazing! This summer is going to be amazing. I CAN NOT wait for Book 7! I have my special edition pre-ordered at the local Borders. And this movie ... we've finally hit the rising action. Dumbledores Army, the Order... it's all going to be amazing from on out.
For the record, I'm not "under 15", I'm "twenty". I grew up reading Harry potter over the last seven years. - bryano, on 10/12/2007, -3/+78...blimey

- scrambled, on 10/12/2007, -5/+31Hermione = teh hotness
- whoreman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+26I would love to see this in Hi-Def like the teaser trailer from a few months ago ( http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/harrypotterandtheorderofthephoenix/hd/ )
- Ellsass, on 11/05/2008, -4/+29Umbridge was cast horribly. She should be a huge, yet short, squatty, toad-like woman. While reading the book I imagined her to look like the woman from Spirited Away:

- iburyfamilyguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+21Wow that trailer gave me goosebumps, and I don't even like Harry Potter!
- sctechguy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+22For that reason, the 4th movie (Goblet of Fire) really irritated me. They blatantly left out some background (but important information in the HP world). They also took it upon themselves to change some rather major plot points from the book. For instance, in the movie, it's Neville who gives Harry the Gillyweed, but in the book, Dobby is the one who orchestrates that exchange. They could have done a lot with the character of Moody, but they didn't, and it made the whole movie feel very rushed, and contrived.
That being said, I can't wait for OOTP to come out! - kingkilr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+20^^ Is this supposed to diminish the fact that she is hot?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+21This July is the big finale of Harry Potter. I'm so excited!
- ciaranl, on 10/12/2007, -2/+17Wow. Wow. Go MuggleNet!
- giddieon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15why do asses like you care... you don't like it ***** off mate...
- scuvball, on 10/12/2007, -4/+18wow that looks great!
- abbs866, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15To all those who put down Harry Potter as a children's series:
I am twenty-three years old. My dad made me read Sorcerer's Stone when I was 13, and I fell in love. I've been hooked ever since, and still eagerly await each new juicy detail relating to the books/movies. I don't want DH to come out, that means it's over. How can you say that only kids read/care about Harry Potter? This generation GREW UP with these fabulous books, they're already classics! How can you see books like these relating to death and/or growing up as kids books? For Merlin's sakes, they're 700 pages! That's not a kid's book!
When will people realize that this isn't about kids? When we are old in our rockers, we're going to hand grandkids the books and say "I think you might be a bit young still, but when you are older you will understand. This was the book I read growing up."
These books are classics. How in the world can anybody think they are kids?
Rant over. The trailer rocks! - BevansDesign, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14Oh Youtube? Nobody's going to believe that.
- betterth, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14The movies do a good job of condensing what should be a 9 hour movie into a digestible 2 hour block. Do they skip all the best parts (imo), 2/3 of the character development, and anything except for the crucial details? Yes, but they still capture the feeling of the series, and more importantly they do still convey the events.
I look at it this way. The books are my look into the life and times of Harry Potter, just about every detail of the years at Hogwarts. I then see the movies as the abridged look back at the events. The "highlights" reel if you will.
I still think the movies are good, they can do a lot that books can't. Like the epic feel, etc. etc. - sctechguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11Wow.
- tafkasavabug, on 10/12/2007, -4/+14It's really really good looking. Glad to have seen it... UNDER 90 DAYS FOR THE FINAL BOOK AND THE FIFTH MOVIE!! AHH!! WHAT TO DO?
- sctechguy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10You fail for thinking that Youtube is going to have High-Def anything.
- sctechguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9I......have no idea of what you're trying to say.
Exactly how old are you, anyway? - sctechguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Well, for the book, anyway...Still have two more movies to go after Order of the Phoenix.
- whoreman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8sultantravi I am interested to know how you came up with this because from reading the books I just cant see how you made the connections
- dheaddy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10This was my least favourite book, but now this trailer has given me high hopes again for this adaptation. Also, voldemort in a suit - wtf?
- dragum00, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Ya, harry was a little bitch in that book
- the311neo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7holy *****...and that's all I have to say about that.
- Ellsass, on 11/05/2008, -0/+7While nothing in the books rules out Harry & Hermione being siblings, I can't see it happening. Harry's character has always been strongly related to his physical looks -- he has his dad's face and dark hair and his mom's eyes. Hermione has (had, but was born with) buck teeth and bushy brown hair.
Plus, why would a couple Muggles agree to raise a wizard daughter and not ever tell her she's adopted? Muggles are portrayed as being freaked out by wizards. And *tons* of people knew the Potters and talked about Harry being their son with absolutely no hint that there was another child -- one who is the same age, no less. - JerseyTim, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Yeah, I'm not even a fan, but that just looks like a good movie on its own.
- katar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Wow! That looked awesome. Made me want to see the movie a lot more than the trailer on Apple.
Go Fred & George!!! - the311neo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7while i agree that she's a hottie, lets remember that she just turned 17...something creepy about oogling a 16 year old, no? (Keep in mind that at 32 im twice her age...you young whipper snappers feel free to optically undress her...lol).
- freshlycut, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8...Calm down
- noreturn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+717 is legal in England...

That was amazing. - conradstudios, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6excellent!
- archino, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Yea man, I highly doubt they're siblings. This isn't Star Wars. And Emma Watson is waaay too hot to play Hermione.
- Spydarlee, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9"Sort of exciting, isn't it? Breaking the rules."
