gotta love greasemonkey :D - 7of7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yeah, the last one was definitely not a kids book. Between the "snogging" and the killing, it's a pretty disturbing book. In the next book Harry is slated to become an unwed teenage father who doesn't pay child support and smokes too much dope.
- deadjoe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1John Williams, come back!!! :(
- Tullamore, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Why would kids ever want to read the book anymore if they know a moving is going to be made. Some things should just be left in literature.
- Nothlit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I also came up with this direct link, which is the same video just in Windows Media:
http://a69.g.akamai.net/n/69/13042/v1/mediaplayer.allocine.fr/nmedia/18/35/52/34/18397590_fa1_vost_hd.wmv - solidus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Where can I get the GreaseMonkey script that leads you to the direct link?
- alceria, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Thorin - you read my mind. It's not how I pictured it at all. It's like the budget ran thin and they went and grabbed a gumball from a coin-operated machine. Disappointing. I also think the goblet looks kinda cheesy as well. I wish Alfonse Cuaron had directed this one as well.
- drn666, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0""Connecting to media...", and it never connects... the "digg effect"? :-)"
Presumptuous... alas, for all but the most impotent of servers there is no such effect.
Yet. - sabster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0the soundtrack sucks what are you talking about.. it has like women echoing when a horse drives by what is that
- ThePug, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0DO you know how long this trailer has been out now? It's been like a month.
This new one has been out for a few hours. - atf487, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i downloaded a different version of it a few days ago, but yes, it looks damn cool.
i thought the last one was a big improvement over the first two, though. acting in the first two is awful. - Bouncer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Why would kids ever want to read the book anymore if they know a moving is going to be made. Some things should just be left in literature."
Have you ever read the books? Kids read them regardless whether or not there is a movie because they are great books.
^Nicely said, but overall even if things should be "left in literature" almost anyone with common sense would make the movie considerin the amount of $$$$$ it makes... when it comes down to it when something in the entertainment industry seems stupid or weird or just doesnt make any sense it's because of money. - PlayWithFire, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0thanks for the info
better trailers can be found here, in three formats
http://www.veritaserum.com/ - jagnum1fan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this trailer has been out in really crappy quality for a while but this is the high res version. And anyone who thinks that these books are for fifth graders needs a serious wakeup call cause its not they are the people who are too lazy to actually pick up a book as well as the person who said why read the book if its gonna be made into a movie. The movie cuts out like 2/3 of the details in the book. The books make things more vivid and entertaining so unless you have read all the books or seen any of the movies i wouldn't suggest criticizing. If you made cause u all think its only supposed to be tech then o well this is a new story site so deal

Have you ever read the books? Kids read them regardless whether or not there is a movie because they are great books.... and adults alike for that matter too... - ThePug, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Guys, there are some links on mugglenet.com too.
- 7of7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Best line in this movie will be "Careful with that Axe Eugene."
- Brhine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Best line in this movie will be "Careful with that Axe Eugene.""
Awesome, I haven't read the books, I didn't know about that line. I think I'm more of a J.K fan now. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Why would kids ever want to read the book anymore if they know a moving is going to be made. Some things should just be left in literature."

- asthmatic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Glad to know people digg harry potter
- DJMac317, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Great trailer, just awesome, but once again it's encoded in Windows Media format and kept stalling about every 5 seconds.
- z0zin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I sort of liked the other one better. This one doesn't have the same flair.
- Moe_Jillionaire, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0cool
cant wait to watch :) - jdsnape, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0THis ain't new, its been here:
http://www.apple.com/trailors
for months :-p - indiefan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This movie is gonna be amazing
- brbubba, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0jdsnape,
this is the international teaser, I think the quicktime one was the American teaser. - movieguyjon, on 04/03/2009, -0/+0I think the movies can be a great supplement to the books. You read it first and then see how closely the movie matches your imagination. I did that for the Lord of the Rings and I was quite pleased.
The movies will never be better than the books, but you have to appreciate those who try to make them as fun of an experience.. - ThePug, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This trailer didn't just come out, it's been out for over a month...
OLD NEWS!
^ Read my post above, this just came out today... - jdsnape, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0oops. that should be
http://www.apple.com/trailers
sorry - LR2_, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That looks awesome. Hope it is as good as it seems. I think the Goblet of Fire is the best book in the series. Order of the Pheonix was good as well and The half-blood prince just left way too many questions left unanswered.
- Thorin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Looks pretty good, but I thought Mad-Eye Moody's eye looked lame. It looks like a stick-on googly eye that's been pulled off a novelty birthday card.
- davec, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah, you can definitely tell it's not john william's work. Supposedly their going to reuse the core themes. Oh well... The composer changing is better than dumbledore actor changing...oh wait
- Doubtfulsalm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Looks great, and I love the translation of 2005 to "Le 30 Novembre"
- CJHtxGeek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Seemed to stop being "kids books" in last 2-3, starting with this one, people dieing, dark themes, etc etc, not a little 3rd grade book like the first two...
- Phenom21, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0yeeeaah emma watson IS smokin hot when she get's dressed up especially and it was a sweeet movie, but you gotta read the books to figure this movie out
- Brhine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+07of7..
Yeah, I have heard the books can sort of ramble. I don't have time to sit down and read them anyway, development and writing take most of my time. I do however enjoy the movies and it would be cool to see an obscure reference like that. - spacemanspork, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0bah, i can't stand the actors who play
1) ron weasley
2) harry potter
3) draco malfoy
they are so bad. i haven't liked any of the movies yet though i've seen them (friends always want to see it). they've been strictly mediocore imo.
the books are... well... as the series goes on harry potter gets more and more annoying. perhaps jk is buttering him up to die? book 5 was really crappy, book 6 was pretty good. - thehollywood, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Oh man, that looks sweet as hell.
- BOGgur, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The high quality WMV version of this trailer can be downloaded at mugglenet heres a direct link to the download
http://www.mugglenet.com/download.php?f=gof/intl_gofhigh.wmv.zip - rharo.jr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The trailer looks amazing, especially in high definition. I can't wait!
- alexhhhh, on 11/28/2008, -0/+0All the guys have long hair. What a bunch of tools.
- RaideN-Lee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0YaY, I can't wait! XD
- Kanani, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It looks good but I think they got some of the casting wrong. Cho chung is supposed to be this hawt instant boner asain but they got a pudgy ugly girl instead. same with Fleur. she is supposed to be the most beautiful girl in the world but she looks pretty average
/ agreed !! - hostile1313, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I love fantasy epic, but found the harry potter books a little to simple of a read, but they were written for children. The movies though are great. i think the whole family can enjoy them
- alexsan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It looks good but I think they got some of the casting wrong. Cho chung is supposed to be this hawt instant boner asain but they got a pudgy ugly girl instead. same with Fleur. she is supposed to be the most beautiful girl in the world but she looks pretty average
- Computer_Kid, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I thank I mite read that book! I stoped after the third!
- 7of7, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Sorry brhine, I was trying to spice up an otherwise dull thread. In reality the series is mediocre at best. I don't recommend it if you've ever seen Star Wars or read J.R.R Tolkien. If only Pink Floyd were part of it, then it'd be a lot more interesting. The newest book was a decent read, but predictable.
- yaroze, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Awesome Trailer, lets hope they don't muck this one up like they did the last one, probably will
- NetCaptive, on 02/18/2009, -1/+0"Connecting to media...", and it never connects... the "digg effect"? :-)
