- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Mark Hamill should make a surprise cameo appearance. Everyone in the theater will be like, "Hey, it's Mark Hamill! This movie rocks!"
- mancat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3SWEET!!! I can't wait to see Indy back on the screen again!
- Weezy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Ah the memories... Can't wait!
- FCon4, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Neolit: IMO, '...he's as physically fit as ever...' sounds a lot like, '...he's in the best shape of his life...'
But again, that's just my opinion.
Indy rocks!! (Fact, not an opinion.) - enbob89, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1So... for some reason, the journalism is a *****. Do explain.
- kd5ftn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I went to the screening of Firewall with a Q&A session.
His favorite line when people asked him about his age was "Do you want to take this outside?", so yeah.. 63 year old Harrison Ford can still kick some ass! - Xomenra, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1In my previous comment I gave credit (thanks) to skremer for this digg....I want to apologize to enbob89 for that... Thank you enbob89 for the great digg.
- greg544, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I am shocked that the 14 year olds on this board know what "Raiders of the Lost Ark" is. I am doubly shocked they claim to know what a "bad" movie is.
- piratebill, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Mark hamill in it would make my day.
- flashmaster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think a cameo of Chewbacca would rock!
- ahhell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I can't wait. It's gonna be awesome hearing that theme song in the theatres again!!
Go INDY!! - aptiva, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It'll be great. He has barely aged a bit. Just smack a couple of pounds of makeup on the guy and we won't even see the difference between the new and old indy.
I just can't wait - elpayo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Best shape of his life? He was pretty ripped in Temple of Doom. 20 years ago.
- enbob89, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's not old news and its not a dupe. It's an article about recent comments made by Harrison Ford exclusively to Comingsoon.net. So there. Also, the article does state he's as physically fit as ever: "The 63-year-old actor is frank about his age and doesn't hesitate to point out that he's as physically fit as ever."
Anymore complaints? - dongiaconia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Indiana Jones and the Valley of Ewoks.
- craigm01, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1It's official, everyone in Hollywood is completly out of new ideas...
- DtectiveGFriday, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Indiana Jones, in this summers hottest block buster:
INDIANA JONES! AND THOSE DAMN KIDS IN THE YARD AGAIN! - enbob89, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Neolit:
Wow, you seem to really have something against this journalist. The article states "The 63-year-old actor...doesn't hesitate to point out that he's as physically fit as ever." The fact that you're freaking out because its not a direct quote is kind of ridiculous. You're missing the point entirely. Ford is saying that he's completely capable of doing a movie in which he'll have to perform physically. Is that okay with you? - cbags, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Actually, he does imply that he is in the best shape of his life: "The 63-year-old actor is frank about his age and doesn't hesitate to point out that he's as physically fit as ever."
Unless he was a drag ass 35 year old in the originals... - sauvaget, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0chinese kid, Richman!
hong kong you know... - BritOverseas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The indy movies are some of my favourites, I hope it is good.
- RichMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0They should get Bobby Lee (from MadTV) to play as an aged version of that little japanese kid from the second movie.
Dr Jones! Dr Jones! - Cerberus047, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0NEW IN THEATERS INDIANA JONES: ESCAPE FROM THE RETIREMENT HOME
- sidebuster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I don't care if the movie totaly blows, as long as it has the same heart as the other movies I will be excited to see my favorite actor playing my favorite movie hero. Indiana jones was like superman to me when I was younger.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1enbob89, you front-page hungry thingimydingimy
the man did NOT say "he's in the best shape of his life"!
He merely stated that "... a film in which I perform physically to an extent sufficient for 'Indiana Jones,"
OK
Ford rocks. And yes, he is old, and yes they will make him look younger, use the CGI and stunt doubles. And if gets to bea a good Indy movie.. cool. IF not, we wil soon forget about it.
But no one in their right mind would, at age of 63, say that they are in the best shape of their life!?!?
That would just mean that they are so old they can not remember how ti was when they were young.
no digg for you mate. - alfoy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Best shape of his life? Wow, what was he - a heroin addict from birth?
- Thud, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Keep in mind that Indiana Jones 4 takes place in the 1950's.... so the character has also aged.
I bet the plot will be something along the lines of Indiana Jones coming out of retirement.
Henry Jones Sr. (Sean Connery) will also be in the movie. - clumsyninja, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0LOL, malv.
I can't wait to see how this movie turns out. The last movie was the best IMO. - enbob89, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is off topic, but if you look at the stories I've gotten to the homepage, you can see how digg has grown. My first story to the homepage only had 40 diggs.
- modman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Idiots... all of you....
it is not a prequel, it is a sequel.... to a fantastic series of movies at that. The movie is taking place in the 1950's for god sakes... that matches Indi's age with Ford's (the other movies were done in the late 30's) - longwang, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hopefully it'll be fun like the others. I'll see it. The question is will I see it in the theatres or from netflix?
- timbtwisted, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm sure they are going to write his age into the script. It's been 15 years ish maybe since the last Jones movie it shouldn't too much of a stretch to imagine that he aged 15 years as well.
- iWorks, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0awesome!
- knoppy44, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Just as long they don't screw it up like they have done to The Dukes of Hazzard
- o0joshua0o, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why can't an old Indiana Jones kick just as much ass as a young one? Maybe he'll have to rely on his brains more than his brawn, but that's OK in my book.
Besides, didn't he drink from the Holy Freakin' Grail at the end of the 3rd movie? That should improve his longevity, shouldn't it? - strangerzero, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I guess I missed number three.
- raccettura, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Ugh... I really don't want to see this.
Instead of replacing the statue with a bag of sand, he'll be replacing it with his colostomy bag. - JayRod, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Will he be in a wheelchair trying to wheel away from a giant boulder rolling towards him?
- madmathmatician, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i said its "about freaking time" like 4 years ago....!
also, dont make a sequel unless the story NEEDS to be told. - bakagaigin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I've been hearing "news" about Indiana Jones 4 for seriously like 8 years now.
- enbob89, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Not a big deal. You're welcome.
- Xomenra, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Harrison Ford is the man....no concerns here about his age! I bet it will be a fantastic film...Thanks for the Digg Skremer!
- sandrino, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0As long as George Lucas doesn't direct it or write it. George has lost his touch and his mind. I am not so sure about Spielberg either after War of the Worlds, but at least he is better than Lucas.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@strangerzero,
You didn't miss anything, trust me. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0i'll give the coke-sniffing executives my money, for Harrison
- smilesman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0It's obvious that no one can come up with a good script...the project has been in development hell for ages. With a good script, the movie could be good even if Harrison is 70...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0It is pretty common knowledge that his part wouldn't be the lead and that it would focus more on a younger character similar to Young Indiana Jones.
- SlashNot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0It seems some people forget that you can make people look decades younger in movies. Hopefully this movie will be great.
