I mean it wasn't even "Catwoman", it was a woman, who was somehow infected with a cat spirit and wants revenge... It was like "The Crow" but with a cat. The only place the writers/directors could have got that idea is from Tim Burton's "Batman Returns". Catwoman has never been some kind of cat zombie creature.
A Catwoman movie would be awesome, just like the Catwoman comics were. This wasn't a Catwoman movie though, it was a movie about a feline wraith infecting a human host.
It would be like calling a movie "The Flash" and have it be about this kid named Wally who's the fastest one to run a newspaper route. No kid has ever outrun him, he's the fastest boy around. He uses his incredible speed to help other kids in the neighborhood, we could have some awesome slow motion shots with him running at speeds approaching 13mph! - LostOnion, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7An actual cat could have done a better job.

Some people from work asked me if I was going to go see it probably because I am into Batman and a black man. Some of them were shocked when I said “Hell no!” One of them even accused me of being anti-female because I would go see Batman Begins but not Catwoman! I couldn’t even begin to tell these “ladies” how ridiculous that notion was. They didn’t know the history of the character, her protection of animals, the relationship with Batman, etc… They didn’t understand that the Halle Berry Catwoman has nothing to do with the REAL Catwoman. I mean open-toed high-heel shoes in combat? Give me a break. Moreover, do I look like I don’t want to see Halle Berry on the big screen? Swordfish, hello!

The rest of the cast and storyline sucked ass. So didn't the game !! Also to be fair the role itself and character is and never will be or should have been set up to be equipped as a lead role in it's own film !! Even Michelle Pfeiffer couldn't have repeated her role and made this movie any good as there was no keen story or decent villain.
When movies like Capitan America, Green Lantern etc should have already been in the works and this character gets a movie was shocking to say the least but to her credit Berry won the 2005 Razzie award for worst actress in a film for her role as Catwoman, and accepted the prize in person. She was only the third Razzie winner She brought her Monster's Ball Oscar with her for her mock breathless acceptance speech, in which she apologized to the fans of the character, calling the film a "God-awful movie." ever to do so.
Plus she still is hot so who gives a Fu__k
