- LanceWindu, on 10/10/2007, -5/+98Someone needs to learn the meaning of Hi-Res...
That said, I don't like the look of this new Batsuit. - Murphious, on 10/10/2007, -5/+81For ever doubting Heath Ledger, I'm sorry.
- lolwutt, on 10/10/2007, -0/+47My name is Patrick Bateman.
- blaze03, on 10/10/2007, -5/+49What's up with the batsuit? They finally got it right for Batman Begins and now they've changed it to look like plastic pieces glued together, especially the shoulderpad.
- williej81, on 10/10/2007, -0/+43Just be happy it doesn't have nipples...
- MikeonTV, on 10/10/2007, -0/+40These photos seemed leaked. Looks like it's a job for...
- GameCop, on 10/10/2007, -1/+36Why are there multiple Batman's in 2 of the pictures?
- jewdiknight, on 10/10/2007, -0/+35The MPAA!
- knowyourrights, on 10/10/2007, -4/+35Christian Bale is the best Batman, make NO mistake about it. He's a natural badass, in all the movies he's in. He proved himself once again in Rescue Dawn, and he'll prove himself over and over. I'm lucky to be look forward to his future movies. If you want to see him acting as a kid, check out 'Empire of the Sun', a badass back then too, a kickass movie not to mention.
- nonzzero, on 10/10/2007, -1/+31I imagine it's something the Joker did to confuse people.
- McTendo, on 10/10/2007, -1/+30No one thought stunt double?
- NeilM, on 10/10/2007, -13/+40NOBODY CAN REPLACE THIS GUY:
http://www.geocities.com/~talotta/Batman/Batman3.jpg - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+24Now, take this guy. Armed robbery, double homicide. Got a taste for the theatrical, like you....Leaves a calling card.

I'll look into it. - vishzilla, on 10/10/2007, -1/+22bale does look leaner, heath ledger..oh man, he does look hideous and gruesome...perfect interpretation for the joker...i guess no jokes this time from the Joker
- Septimus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+20The first shot could almost be out of American Psycho. Maybe his natural smile makes him look psychotic.
- CeeJayDK, on 10/10/2007, -3/+20It's still up , but in case it goes down or the pictures gets pulled, I used dotcache to make a mirror :
http://dotcache.com/http://www.filmschoolrejects.com/news/great-new-hi-res-images-from-the-dark-knight.php - DocHoliday22, on 10/10/2007, -0/+16I know who did it... to the Batmobile!
- nickevans, on 10/10/2007, -7/+22im still not sure about this... jack nicholson was fantastic as the joker, you can't top that
- joshmoney, on 10/10/2007, -0/+14Is that supposed to be a combination of thinner and skinny?
- MacParrot, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13It's under "Entertainment". If you don't want to be entertained, turn off the category. I'm guessing you're just someone that enjoys complaining.
- XeriousTrubble, on 10/10/2007, -3/+15possibly to frame batman...make him look bad...loose credibility with the poh-poh...remember, the batman isn't liked by gotham police?
- psbpv3o, on 10/10/2007, -1/+13yeah, but it was a different kind of joker. Jack's joker, joked around, and although insane would like to have fun with his victims, and was very cartoonish in the way he went about it. This joker looks like he's going to be just ***** insane. The whole point of the joker in most of the comics is that he's not suppose to be funny at all, just really ***** up. Burton's joker was kind of funny, and entertaining. Ledger's joker will just be disturbing.
- MrNexus, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12Wait for the movie to come out before you make that judgment.
- directsun, on 10/10/2007, -1/+11These questions and more will be answered. Same bat time, same bat channel!
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -5/+14they are not very "hi-res"...
- DrunkenSavior, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9These photos were leaked. WB is working to take em down as I type.
- endlessoul, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10Oh, if he's the true Joker, I'm sure there will be.
Just a little more psychotic. - nonzzero, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9Hey, it's one letter away from Batman, after all.
- HouseofEl, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9I think it has more to do with the fact that this is supposed to be Batman transitioning. He doesn't wear the iconic looking suit yet. You have to realize that the character in the comic books is like in his 40s and been batman for years. This Batman is barely 30 and been Batman for maybe 2 years. Much of the theatricality of the character has not evolved yet. At least, that's the way I look at it. I would totally be up for them doing one more, then waiting several years to allow Bale to age and pick up later in his career.
- Septimus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8These are pre-post-production.
- imthepresident, on 10/10/2007, -3/+11Is it just me or does Bale look skinner this time around?
- Septimus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Oh it's the god bothering weirdo I forgot to block on a previous story. Thanks for posting and reminding me.
Shots look promising. Good chance Heath Ledger won't suck. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10500x332 ≠ high res
- thatsmyaibo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Keaton wasn't the best Batman but he was a great Bruce Wayne. I watched Returns the other night and that was a solid movie. Burton's comicy dark tones gave it a good feel. After that movie though, things went down hill. Why did everything have colored lights?!
- sofaKing812, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7The Gotham Bomb Squad?

Okay, I just wanted to post this picture of my friend from the other week. Batman shooting in Chicago is freaking awesome! - Mpulse, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Are the three pictures with the overly bright fluorescents the new bat cave? (The bat-suit in its case in the third photo is why I believe it is.) I think they might have over modernized it a little. I thought it was cool that the last movie's bat-cave was an unmodified cave with no high-tech computers or gizmos. Then again, if you're going to rebuild from scratch you wouldn't leave your base of operations so rustic. I guess I was expecting the rebuilt bat-cave to look a little more like a modernized version of the original Batman or the Animated Series (without the bottomless cavern obviously), not like an average office building.
As for the multiple Batmans, it's probably Joker's plan to create confusion, like convince the police that Batman is creating his own army. - megashaun, on 10/10/2007, -3/+10Looks like Dr. Crane AKA Scarecrow is in the movie after all. Second dude from the left looks just like him:
http://www.fsrbeta.com/images/darkknight8.jpg - ChileanGoD, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8Oh no! The bat-nipples are slowly comming back!
http://www.spacejunk.org/spacejunk/wp-content/images/humour/batman&robin_pics012.jpg - arbulus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6That would hurt
- bigtomrodney, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Hello good citizen. I'm Bateman.
- BobbyMC, on 07/21/2008, -1/+6Wherever that "cave" is, it isn't Wayne Manor. For a rather large part of the movie, at least, Wayne is living in a penthouse. The majority who saw the Wizard World clip say that the room you see is in his penthouse, but as we don't know exactly where the penthouse is or how he would have such a large panic room within it safely, I think it's a safe theory that it could just be the R&D room from Begins. It looks very similar to the room the tumbler was tested in, and certain rumors make it plausible that within this story he would store stuff there.
Of course, we then need to ask ourselves what sneaky way Fox will maintain deniability this time! - samury, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6A lot of people doubted Michael Keaton. "Mr. Mom as Batman?! Hah!"
- PatBateman75, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7pictures only : http://www.filmschoolrejects.com/images/dark_knight_pics.jpg
- christiancji, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Have you noticed that bats is wearing two different suits. One that looks very similar to the one in 'begins' and the more futuristic version with all the extra pieces of rubber. I remember reading somewhere that in this movie he updates his suit midway through the movie. By the way I think Heath looks kick ass and so does the new suit and modern looking bat cave.
- codered1322, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4It's just you.
- mattfugitive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6Finally.. some justice is brought to the batman franchise!
- VeganG, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4"this one looks too much like armour a knight would wear"
pssst the movie is called "the dark KNIGHT" - matriculated, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Looks like the citizens of Gotham are starting a Batman vigilante army... kind of like Frank Millers, the Dark Knight.
- Escamotage, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I think the cable will be erased later in post-production. It's to show that he floats down like when he escapes Arkham in Begins.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Someone's a Mr. Grumpy Pants today, isn't he? Yes he is, yes he is.
