These guys all look like they've been put through a shredder. Megatron looks like a thorn bush.

You can go on about the need to update as much as you want, but if people can't look at a Transformer and recognize who it is then you have problems with your design.

Frenzy & Starscream - WTF!?!?
I swear, I'm not one of those "OMGWTFBBQ MY CHILDHOOD IS DESTROY'D!!!!" fans. I didn't whine when Raphael started cursing like a sailor, or when The Mushroom Kingdom was turned into a dystopian NYC / Reno hybrid.
However, I hope that most of these CGI models are the Cybertronian forms. Otherwise I'll be somewhat disappointed.
Who am I kidding? My son and I will be there opening night, regardless, and no matter how great/awful the movie turns out to be, my childhood memories of these characters will remain intact. uhm the only good movie hes done in his entire career is The Island, well semi-good at least. I know in the originals each side wore their respective emblem, but if they're going to do it in the movie, everyone should do it or no one should, not just Bumblebee. I personally think each side should since they look so similar and there really isn't the same kind of effort to make the good guys look like "good robots" and the bad guys like "bad robots" as you find in the animated series.

I suppose how they look pre-transformation and their colors then have to be taken into account, but regardless, it's just odd to see Optimus Prime in full color, or at least the main colors he had originally, then look at an entirely gray Starscream.
