The scene doesn't even flow well with the CGI change. It looks fake. Solo loses his edge that Lucas gave him in the original movie by changing that scene.

In the last draft of the script, Han is shooting heroin in the corner when Reverend Greedo approaches him to ask that he please move the Millenium Falcon away from the entrance to the tauntaun shelter. Han responds by jabbing the syringe into Greedo's eye, and Greedo stumbles away and into a room full of starving orphans, where the volitale mix of heroin and greedo-blood finally erupt in an explosion of shrieking acid, killing all in a 40 foot radius.

I don't understand your argument. Without the originals and the later changing of the scene, the shirt wouldn't exist.

- jgzman, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4You might be interested to know that there was, in fact, a release in which Greedo shot, and then after a discernible pause, or, 'beat,' Han shot back. After the outrage, they altered it yet again so that both shots were simultaneous.
And in point of fact, the statement 'Han Shot First' applies directly to the originals. It is a statement of our anger at having the movies changed. If you look closely, in the original, Han shot before Greedo.
