    Bah, my girlfriend's grandmother's brother's nephew's daughter's second cousin told me that Matt Groening's father's second cousin's flatmate's ex-wife said it would never happen because she heard from Katey Segal's agent's janitor's cousin's gardener that Katey refused to be associated with Futurama anymore.

    No Leela, no movie.

    Replace "American Dad" with "Family Guy" in that sentence and you would be right. Every single joke in Family Guy follows the same formula (that's worse than the time that..., or that's like the time that.... etc.). Family Guy is just running off of it's own popularity now instead of actual good writing.

    And American Dad isn't? I've watched a few episodes of American Dad, and its just pure crap. They both use the same formula, but at least the Family Guy characters are somewhat interesting.

Then I heard that it was decided to do that.

    Please note the quotation marks around my the part about the no digg reported section of my post, followed by me saying that thewordisgod has never seen an episode of Futurama.

    I was QUOTING the dumbass troll and saying, in fewer and less violent words than your own, essentially the same thing. Except that I actually directed them at someone who was trolling.

  • Guspaz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nice, I suppose, but not what I wanted. I wanted more episodes direct-to-dvd, not a movie. Episodes would be more likely to be succesfull.

    Think about it. You bomb the movie, that's it, it's over. However, if you do episodes direct to DVD, and, say, one of the five episodes sucks, well, that isn't a bit deal if the other four aren't bad.
