Family Guy: The Untold Story of Stewie Griffin worked for me.
But any new Futurama is a good Futurama. - _Caboose_, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Effing right! :D
- capajc, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Family Guy movie was just 3 mediocre episodes strung together. Here's hoping Futurama does something a little more classy.
- capajc, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Oh, it's just an IMDB entry. (sigh) That's about as reliable as saying your sister's friend's massage class teacher's cousin said it was gonna happen.
- Computer_Kid, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Yeah!
- tevetorbes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Try searching for The Simpsons- apparently its coming out in 2008!!!211!!@!41!!!ELEVENTY!!@!

- soda0289, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Im sorry to say but this is in deed fake it was done by a Futurama website to show how easy it was to place movies on IMDB if you find and read the wikipedia artical for Futurama it will explain it.
- ericcc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Old and fake.
"I'm getting more and more emails about IMDb "confirming" that the straight to DVD movie is going ahead. At first it only was the release date they listed (2007) and now, that they published a plot line.
The plot summary on there was made up and submitted by the user Smitty on PEEL to prove that anything can get published on IMDb. Unless Groening and Cohen came up with the same idea, that plotline is NOT LEGIT as far as we know.
When we get actual confirmation from sources to be trusted, we'll let you know..."

Then it IS going to happen! My sister's friend's massage class teacher's cousin's gardener's ex-roomate's father is the janitorwhere Matt Groening works! - Trjn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Oh, it's just an IMDB entry. Bah, my girlfriend's grandmother's brother's nephew's daughter's second cousin told me that Matt Groening's father's second cousin's flatmate's ex-wife said it would never happen because she heard from Katey Segal's agent's janitor's cousin's gardener that Katey refused to be associated with Futurama anymore.
No Leela, no movie.
That is, if you trust my "reliable" source. - furiouszebra, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0"bout time... now bring it back on air and get rid of that horrendous American Dad"
Replace "American Dad" with "Family Guy" in that sentence and you would be right. Every single joke in Family Guy follows the same formula (that's worse than the time that..., or that's like the time that.... etc.). Family Guy is just running off of it's own popularity now instead of actual good writing. - siouxmoux, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Great its Direct to Video for Futurama Movie in 2007. I rather see some new eps of Futurama in 2006 on fox or cartoon network.

And American Dad isn't? I've watched a few episodes of American Dad, and its just pure crap. They both use the same formula, but at least the Family Guy characters are somewhat interesting. - dhakbar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Paint chips are a delicacy where I come from.
Don't be such a xenophobe. - MikeCampo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Bring it back fox!

Every fan of Family Guy knows they use this formula but the strange flashback scenes and such themself are original and damn funny. Viva la Family Guy. - hcker2000, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1YES! Futurama movie. I just wish I could go to the theater to see it.
- furiouszebra, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1"Exactly it is a joke, it is a way of going completely off topic with no good reason just for the sake of it. Every fan of Family Guy knows they use this formula but the strange flashback scenes and such themself are original and damn funny. Viva la Family Guy"
Yes they are funny, but they have been doing it for 5 damned seasons. - ownedbytheman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Magic 8-Ball says : Not ***** Likely.
- geneticerror, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1as much as i want to believe that there will be a Futurama movie, its an entry on imdb.com. you can take anything on that site seriously because anybody can write an entry there.
- geneticerror, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1^*cant
- NiX0n, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1There is no such thing as 2!
This is frickn' sweet!
WTF did they cancel the series in the first place. It was a smart show. Oh well, w00t anyways! - geneticerror, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2another reason that this is fake is that the last time the status was updated was on the 17th July 2005. come on that was 5 months ago, and there is no official word from Groening about a Futurama movie.
- MortenAaserud, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1YEAH!!!!!!111
- herting, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm so sad, I really got happy when I saw this and now that I know it is a fake I am heartbroken.

- spyres, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1IGNFF: And what about the rumors of new Futurama adventures on the horizon?
BILLY WEST: Well, they're more than rumors. I was talked to. The first bulletin that I got is that they were in talks with Fox because Fox was very, very happy with the way the DVDs were selling. (Executive Producer) David Cohen told me they were in talks with Fox and that things were looking great, and that their idea was to make a Futurama movie to DVD, and then maybe release a second one. Then I heard that it was decided to do that.

Billy west voices the main character and several others on Futurama. - spyres, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Three months ago, I would have said we were going to start tomorrow," says writer David X. Cohen, who collaborated with Groening on Futurama. "And one month ago I would also have said we were going to start tomorrow. So ..." He pauses. "My current estimate is that we're starting tomorrow."

This interview is only from a few weeks ago, so it seems that while there is a desire to do this, it certainly doesn't seem be be greenlighted yet. - thewordwasgod, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2"Good news, everyone!"
everyone? do you think i give a ***** about your little cartoon? ***** off little kid.

This amuses me because thewordwasgod has never seen an episode of Futurama. - GeneHACKman, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0trjn, you are a moron. Do some research and then post if you're going to be a retard troll.
"Good News Everyone" is a phrase that the Professor says.
Of course, you would know that if you've ever taken time from your busy schedule in your parents' basement and actually seen any episodes of Futurama.
This is just another prime example of a bitter Digg visitor who's mad that he's got no credibility and NO DUGG STORIES. - weebs, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Who cares. This show is awful.

Please note the quotation marks around my the part about the no digg reported section of my post, followed by me saying that thewordisgod has never seen an episode of Futurama.
I was QUOTING the dumbass troll and saying, in fewer and less violent words than your own, essentially the same thing. Except that I actually directed them at someone who was trolling.
So in summation, bite my shiny metal ass, my parents don't have a basement. - Guspaz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nice, I suppose, but not what I wanted. I wanted more episodes direct-to-dvd, not a movie. Episodes would be more likely to be succesfull.
Think about it. You bomb the movie, that's it, it's over. However, if you do episodes direct to DVD, and, say, one of the five episodes sucks, well, that isn't a bit deal if the other four aren't bad. - Bistromaths, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0all good comments, though the clincher for me has to be the fact that right at the bottom of the cast list is nibbler as "himself"...now that's queer.
- Laughingman234, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0HELL YES!! I hope its real good god that would freaking RAWK!
- cesarcardoso, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Dugg because anything Futurama is worthy dugg :)
- molsen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0All I can say is it would be great to see a movie.. I am sure it would still beat most other movies coming out now adays. And of course show more of nibbler... got to love that little guy ;-)
