- onebit, on 11/23/2007, -8/+120Buried because I'd like to see this DVD make money so they will make more Futurama.
- inactive, on 11/23/2007, -2/+49Already downloaded, burned and watched earlier in the week, *****. Pretty good movie. Has a different vibe to the series episodes, which can be attributed to the movie length.
NOTE: I intend to buy the DVD too. The movie is worth it, plus the extras I think include a full half hour of Hypno Toad! - delzuma, on 11/23/2007, -0/+37Amen to that, Support Futurama!
- inactive, on 11/23/2007, -6/+36Skip the blog spam.
http://quicksilverscreen.com/watch?video=15490 - Jrr6415sun, on 11/23/2007, -0/+22I would suggest people download it, but buy it when it comes out. Vote with your wallet if you want more episodes in my opinion... atleast that's what i'm doing, preordered it for $10.
- KraftDinner101, on 11/23/2007, -0/+20I'll still be buying it regardless.
- thetinguy, on 11/23/2007, -1/+16Thanks for the spoiler *****.
- kazamx, on 11/23/2007, -0/+15Yup its really good. Maybe not a 'classic' Futurama episode, but dam good. the constantly reference things that happened in old episodes. If you have never watched Futurama before then you will miss out on many jokes/references.
- Darth_tater, on 11/23/2007, -3/+15wtf... I watched this more than a week ago. When it was first leaked.
Either way, you should DL this if you cant wait for the dvd to come out. But don't forget to actually buy a copy to support Futurama - inactive, on 11/23/2007, -0/+12DivX is just a codec. It can be used to encode videos of any resolution, HD or not.
- smcgrath, on 11/23/2007, -0/+11I'd like to make a request to all those Futurama fans out there. By all means, enjoy the movie, but please support Futurama coming back and pick up a copy of the DVD too. We all know that it was DVD sales that smacked the TV execs in the face when Family Guy was put back on. I'd really love it if DVD sales of Futurama were a kick somewhere else to the executives at "Box".
- Spaceomega, on 11/23/2007, -3/+14Direct link to download:
http://video.stage6.com/1876690/.divx - mrhahn, on 11/23/2007, -1/+11In this case it's Fox/Box who killed it.
- INHUMANITY, on 11/23/2007, -0/+10I feel the same way. As soon as it became available for pre-order on Amazon I placed an order.
- dankenstein, on 11/23/2007, -3/+12I downloaded it and watched it and shared it, and I fully intend to purchase it. And an FYI to everyone, in a month or so Fox is going to start airing regular episodes again, but they will start off by taking the movie, breaking it into several 22 minute episodes, and air those first. If the straight-to-DVD sales and ratings are good, they will extend the Futurama contract even further. If anyone remembers this is similar to how they brought back Family Guy. They had the straight-to-DVD movie, which they then turned into 3 or 4 episodes to end the season, which led to good ratings and more new Family Guy. Here's to more Futurama.
- xero69, on 11/23/2007, -1/+10Can't wait to get home and have a free preview before my pre-ordered DVD arrives! Bittorent FTW
- CAD420, on 11/23/2007, -3/+10I think this is a bit late? I've seen the dvdrip posted a few days ago, mind you it wasn't an HD rip...but all the same.
- thetinguy, on 11/23/2007, -1/+8I thought Comedy Central was bringing it back.
- grason1129, on 11/23/2007, -0/+6great movie, watch it now buy it later so they make more!
- enivid, on 11/23/2007, -1/+7Only a half hour for the hypno toad? :) He could provide for an infinite amount of viewing pleasure if only he had infinite amount of time on the silver screen.
- inactive, on 11/23/2007, -2/+8Thank ***** god. Hopefully this brings back some more episodes as well.
- thetinguy, on 11/23/2007, -0/+6Wtf are you talking about? Amy is a great character.
- LargeTrout, on 11/23/2007, -7/+13Heh, this is when Torrenting is a bad thing. It kills our favourite TV shows.
- spyrochaete, on 11/23/2007, -0/+6I suspect people wouldn't call it blog spam if your article description didn't say "catch the movie in HD DivX for free at this address!" If you make that claim on the Digg description then that content should be one click away.
I'm one of the biggest opponents of the term "blog spam" but the way the description is phrased is misleading. - spyrochaete, on 11/23/2007, -0/+5If it's any consolation, that's a very minor spoiler that doesn't affect the story. There's a reference to an old episode every 60 seconds and that's just one of them.
- thetinguy, on 11/23/2007, -1/+6Torrent ftw.
http://isohunt.com/download/29408596/bender+big+sc ... - mrgreen4242, on 11/23/2007, -0/+5Just like any other online piracy, people who would have bought it will still buy it, people who wouldn't have paid for it won't. The only difference is those who wouldn't have bought it but still watched it MIGHT buy it, or at the very least talk about it to people who will end up up buying it.
- inactive, on 11/23/2007, -1/+6No spoilers.
- inactive, on 11/23/2007, -1/+6I didn't hear your spoiler. LALALALALALA.
- inactive, on 11/23/2007, -1/+6Good show, movie was alright. Go buy it, they deserve the support
- plexxer, on 11/23/2007, -0/+4Oh yeah? I downloaded, converted it, burned it, watched it, re-ripped it, turned it into a RAR with a password, re-uploaded it, seeded it, download it again and then complained about the password in the comments.
- CaptainCyanide, on 11/23/2007, -0/+4http://www.torrentz.com/566633cba9024acaddddad28ae ...
For those of us who like torrents. It's get like 7000 seeders. - Lain1k, on 11/23/2007, -1/+5It was good, but I think the series is much better. I'm glad they are bringing it back (sorta). Ill still pick up the DVD for support and to own it.
- jaynecobb, on 11/23/2007, -3/+7Does anyone find it strange that it says "This video has been removed by stage6.com, similar videos can be found here." on the top, but it still loads?
- yuandme, on 11/23/2007, -0/+4spammer
- EvilDr.X, on 11/23/2007, -0/+3jaynecobb says... "I can't believe this isn't more popular."
Betcha couldn't believe it about Firefly either, huh? That, Futurama, Arrested Development... Fox just can't let a good show live, can they? - Xplorer, on 11/23/2007, -0/+3More like a week ago....
- inactive, on 11/23/2007, -3/+6Don't worry, I downloaded an extra one for ya to give to my friend.
(In case you haven't realized it yet, downloads do not affect DVD sales) - inactive, on 11/23/2007, -0/+3"We don’t know how but the movie set to be released direct to dvd in a week has already made it online"
...what the hell kind of stupid ass statement is that? Been living under a rock for the past 8 years?
The concept of pressing physical CDs and DVDs that are to be released in retail stores still eludes ya, huh? - spyrochaete, on 11/23/2007, -0/+3In the regular series Bender's apartment number is the ASCII code for $
- dotlizard, on 11/23/2007, -0/+3...gone... sigh. i'm going to buy the DVD, i mean, how would i not buy the DVD? but i so wanted to get an advance peek.
- sladek, on 11/23/2007, -0/+3Thanks dude, just what i was looking for
- ToastPop, on 04/17/2009, -4/+7Don't feel bad, Digg is stupid that way. By Digg's logic, every newspaper and magazine would be blog spam too because they aren't the most direct sources available. Thanks for reporting it.
- Vektuz, on 11/23/2007, -0/+3I already pre-ordered mine. You should too. It will encourage them to make more!
- Rizaus, on 11/23/2007, -0/+2It's news since it's Futurama one of Geek cultures many icons.
Fact that it leaked means nothing. The fact that you can now watch it means I just had a egasm. - NicksVideo, on 11/23/2007, -6/+8No ***** it 'leaked'. 99% of DVDs leak at least a week before their retail date. This is no exception.
- thetinguy, on 11/23/2007, -0/+2http://isohunt.com/download/29408596/bender+big+sc ...
Heres a torrent for you. - Vektuz, on 11/23/2007, -0/+2I agree, and I've already pre-ordered the thing.
If you like it from this 'preview', buy it. Support them. They will make more.
Its a fact that people will buy the DVD's they love whether they've seen it or not.
The only DVDs which really suffer from downloading are those that suck so much that they act as a warning to people instead of an incentive to own it.
If your show is good, and people enjoy it, they'll buy it to keep forever, regardless of whether they've seen it once or not. - chris9902, on 11/23/2007, -0/+2I'm buying it (despite the fact it makes my collectors edition box set odd) and I downloaded it.
I'm like the neutral people. If I don't survive, tell my wife... hello. - dotlizard, on 11/23/2007, -0/+2amy translated the sasquatch language! among other things, but she is indeed a great character and fun to watch too. so Goobernutz, shaddap about Amy ok?
