moviechopshop.com — This trailer for Neill Blomkamp’s District 9 is a little more action packed then I was expecting, but it’s also interesting as hell. Especially since after watching it, I’m not really sure what level of hostility the aliens have for humans.

    That, plus I really like that it's set in Johannesburg - for once, the aliens didn't land on the White House lawn, Times Square, or the ***** Golden Gate Bridge, like in every other movie in the genre. A fitting backdrop for what looks like an awesome segregation/paranoia story.

    option 1 lets you 'report aliens fighting' in your neighborhood (it seems like you can leave an audio message or send a text) - the recording started going into a disclaimer after that. so it looks like they might use the audio/text messages in promotions

    i hung up when the voice spouted some disclaimer mumbo jumbo

Keeping highly advanced aliens who just want to go home (apparently friends of E.T.) stuck in a ghetto just doesn't seem feasible. Is that gigantic spaceship out of lazer-beams? I look forward to seeing it and it being better than I imagine.

    So much that any mention of that word brings memories back of HL2 without fail.
