"Fringe" Producer Writing a Movie Based on Fisher-Price Toy

firstshowing.net — And you thought that Asteroids movie was a far-fetched idea? "Fringe" co-producer and writer Brad Caleb Kane will be writing a movie based on Fisher-Price's View-Master toy. Kane later confirmed the news on his Twitter adding that, "it'll be like the old 80's Amblin movies: Goonies, Young Sherlock… In that vein."

    About the only thing you would miss is the multi-million dollar CGI effects show.

    We had one of them when i was a kid, but the only slide we had was scenes from the movie gremlins ( i think my parents got it at a yard sale or something). anyway, until about age 9 i was scared ***** by it, and never wanted to see the "toy" again.
