- Monolith2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4*****, anyone else notice the striations in his forearm and his fat tricep pokin' out of his shirt? Clint is BUFF for 76!

If you head into their forums they have threads on the films Flags of our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima. - RyanWilliams, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1While the Band of Brothers 'sequel' is likely to be absolutely awesome, it's unfortunately not slated to hit the screens until around 2009. Quite a wait ahead.
- Johnsillyhead, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4The book was amazing. I really hope this movie lives up to its standards.
The book really went into detail on what happened to the soldiers who lived after the battle and what happened to them. There's a lot more than just shooting and killing.
This movie could either completely suck or be absolutely amazing.- Clbck, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I agree. The book is a definite must-read if you're interested on the subject. It's an interesting and informative book.
- WocEnasni, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Yeah, the book is amazing. the author's mother (and widow of one of the men raising the flag) lives quite literally across the street, and I was lucky enough to interview her for school a few years back right before the book was released. The book itself is amazing, and to be able to hear even more stories about the event from her...it really makes you appreciate what they went through
- hazlett, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2With Eastwood connected to it I would bet on the amazing.....

- CharlesSaint007, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3A not so well known fact is that in addition to being an extremely talented actor and director, Mr. Eastwood is also a very talented composer and pianist. Check out the Mystic River soundtrack "Meditation-3" to start off on iTunes if you have it.

- joshak, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Age hasn't wearied him because he looked 76 when he was 36.
- sunsdevils, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Saw the movie yesterday. Maybe I was expecting too much going in, but I don't think it was that great. Still an interesting story that was well done. But it wasn't Saving Private Ryan, in my opinion.
