- kabifff, on 09/29/2008, -2/+110That has to be the most confusing headline ever.
- AmyVernon, on 09/29/2008, -7/+114This looks pretty great, but I'm a little tired of the depressing, yet uplifting, movies. How about if he pulls out a gun and kills a bunch of aliens?
- necromancer, on 09/29/2008, -4/+75So... he finds 7 people who need different organs, he makes sure they deserve them, then plans to kill himself and give them the 7 organs/pounds? But falls in love and nolonger wants to kill himself? Or am I way off...
Seems fairly depressing. - mediaspree, on 09/29/2008, -2/+70Will smith should be blowing up aliens.
- bootykika, on 09/29/2008, -1/+42First Digg Headline to Banana Grammar Xylophone
- pitdog, on 09/29/2008, -2/+35hes not gonna kill any more aliens, it might anger Xenu...
- kevdotbadger, on 09/29/2008, -0/+31you missed the part about Aliens.
- lifeisahighway, on 09/29/2008, -1/+31Welcome to Earf!
- kevdotbadger, on 09/29/2008, -0/+25It's the price us Brits will have to pay to see it in cinema.
OR
it's the amount of money Smith will lose from Brits who decide to download it. - jayobear, on 09/29/2008, -0/+21Number of times Will smirked mysteriously in that trailer: 7.
- leonardutah, on 09/29/2008, -3/+22Wow, I think you just ruined the movie for me.
- KreegsMcSteves, on 09/29/2008, -6/+24Will Smith isn't a Scientologist... that's a well known fact. He's just tight with Tom Cruise and has said publically that he has nothing against the religion, but that he is not a Scientologist.
- WyldeJ, on 09/29/2008, -1/+18Dugg because his son and himself aren't in a public toilet which makes me sad. : (
- yellowfish04, on 09/29/2008, -1/+16Hm I guess I remember reading a story about Will Smith opening a Scientology school
http://templeofxenu.wordpress.com/2008/05/17/will- ...
but it looks like he's still not a Scientologist - zachxmorris, on 09/29/2008, -1/+16i hope this is right...
if so, this movie will suck even worse than hancock.
Where's Carlton? - TheKingInYellow, on 09/29/2008, -2/+16isn't that a conflict of interest?
- heavystone, on 09/29/2008, -2/+15Hm, nice to see a trailer that does not reveal the plot. The fact that they didn't say what he is going to do made me want to watch it. I just have to make sure I don't read any more about this movie until i get to see it.
Had a "Pay it forward" feeling to it. - MrManFitz, on 09/29/2008, -0/+13Wow, that looks awesomely ordinary.
- aaabbbsss, on 09/29/2008, -1/+14"Will Seven Pounds Smith Trailer Movie New Banana Knuckles Yodel Squirrel" might as well be this post's headline.
- TrevorBelmont, on 09/29/2008, -0/+13Meh, no thanks.
- bundwallah, on 09/29/2008, -2/+13Or a "pound of flesh" a la The Merchant of Venice? One pound each for seven people. I.e. he owes a debt to each of them?
- tsopranos, on 09/29/2008, -0/+11"Ben (Will Smith) is an IRS agent who is depressed and guilt-ridden..."
Maybe he's atoning for his mistake of contributing to the raping of the taxpayer. He will be handing out free cash to seven lucky people to help pay for outrageous gas prices. - gospe1337, on 09/29/2008, -0/+10Movie is gonna be lackluster.

- kevdotbadger, on 09/29/2008, -0/+9This is the internet, you don't need to lie and pretend you saw it to make friends.
- crazyhorse13, on 09/29/2008, -1/+9I can't believe someone actually cared.
- TheKingInYellow, on 09/29/2008, -0/+8like "stranger than fiction" but the really ***** boring version.
- kayamm, on 09/29/2008, -2/+9Those hollywood movies are all the same..
- Shabow, on 09/29/2008, -2/+9Why does he have to be an IRS agent?
- stevensj2, on 09/29/2008, -1/+8Maybe the average American heart, laden with KFC, Fritos, and Budweiser.
- BriscoeJr, on 09/29/2008, -0/+7but he has AIDS.
What a twist! - Zenham, on 09/29/2008, -1/+8***** it, We'll do it live!
- fearlessfx, on 09/29/2008, -0/+6AAAWW HELLLL NAAAWWW!!!
- kingdomdude, on 09/29/2008, -2/+8My brain weighs 8 pounds.
Maybe I can be in the sequel. - ATLChris, on 09/29/2008, -3/+8What does "Seven Pounds" have to do with anything? Did I miss something?
- yellowfish04, on 09/29/2008, -17/+22sorry, I don't see movies starring known Scientologists anymore. I was pissed when I found out who "Les Grossman" was when I saw Tropic Thunder
"....AW ***** ME" - HouseofEl, on 09/29/2008, -0/+5It's from the soundtrack to the Michael Bay film "The Island". I believe it's Steve Jablonsky.
- pap232323, on 09/29/2008, -0/+5i would be worse if he went all Scientology on us
- AzureRise, on 09/29/2008, -4/+9He IS a Scientologist. I don't give a damn what he says. He spent 2 million building a Scientologist school and then sent his kids there. His actions speak louder than his words.
- the0ther, on 09/29/2008, -6/+11***** will smith and xenu too
- PlattiJ, on 09/29/2008, -0/+5Let me guess, he donates his heart to the woman he just fell in love with. Hell naw, welcome to earth, bitch!
- individualist, on 09/29/2008, -0/+5I got to screen Seven Pounds in Seattle. It was pretty good although not very uplifting. There are things about it that are uplifting - but by and large it was kind of depressing.
- LR2_, on 09/29/2008, -3/+7Firstly, of all Scientologists hate Xenu. Secondly, Will Smith isn't really a Scientologist.
"Smith has said he has studied multiple religions including Scientology and he has said many complimentary things about Scientology and other faiths. He and his wife are close friends of prominent Scientologists Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, which has led to rumors that Smith is also a Scientologist. Although Smith has said, "I just think a lot of the ideas in Scientology are brilliant and revolutionary and non-religious."...he has denied having joined the Scientology Church, saying "I am a Christian. I am a student of all religions, and I respect all people and all paths." - TheBigBad, on 09/29/2008, -1/+5Considering you claim to have seen the movie, thanks for the tremendous insight: It was not very uplifting, kind of uplifting, but pretty depressing. Brilliant.
The Dark Knight: Pretty cool, not quite awesome, more cool than average.
Tropic Thunder: It was pretty good, parts of it were funny, other parts weren't all that funny.
Wall-E: I liked most of it except for the parts I didn't like.
Pineapple Express: Overall, I would say it was good and bad. Above average other than the scenes that weren't great. - dajumbles, on 09/29/2008, -0/+4What is the name of that super inspirational song they played in this trailer? I hear it in almost every trailer for a movie that wants an award.
- digglet08, on 09/29/2008, -0/+4The digglet breakdown:
1. Horrifically generic music
2. The description sounded really bad and ruined the trailer
3. THE SNIPER FROM SAVING PRIVATE RYAN!!!
Overall, not seeing it - Pardis, on 09/29/2008, -0/+4A pound of flesh for each sin he is atoning for, 7 names so 7 pounds.
