- ginrummy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7Looks just as good, if not better, than all his other films. I look forward to seeing this one.
- brundlefly76, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3The cinematography, the soundtrack, the dialog, the recurring actors, the humanity of his characters - his movies are so subtly rich and watchable.

- Wynner3, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5I love his other movies. This looks pretty good.
- Mc_Carter, on 10/10/2007, -5/+9Who's gonna tell us the Latin names of all the fishes you know I cant remember that *****.

HD versions: http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox_searchlight/thedarjeelinglimited/hd/ - iheartartoo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Color me excited. Wes Anderson is never a let down.
- HCJfilms, on 10/10/2007, -1/+18Swamp leeches! Check for swamp leeches! I'm the only one that got hit? What's the deal?
- stylerm, on 10/10/2007, -6/+1Does Owen Wilson have 90% of the lines in this movie?
- gerrycurl, on 10/10/2007, -6/+0at least they cover up his ugly ***** nose.
- marcomc2, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9My god I can not wait much longer, this movie looks GLORIOUS.
Wes Anderson has never let me down.
I hope thats not a bad thing (meaning I hope it doesnt happen this time around).
And Im very glad Adrien Brody is taking a role like this one for a change - greydream, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2God I love Wes Anderson. It looks like he's changed up his style just enough to make this one fresh. Steve Zissou was basically the Royal Tennenbaums on a boat. I hope this isn't the same thing on a train. Can't wait for it either way, Brody seems like a good addition to the cast.
- Omano, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Yeah, i was surprise to see him in there to. But then once i thought about it, i was thinking "why has he not been in any other of his movies before?" Seems like he will work fine. so yeah. good for Brody.
- bmunge, on 10/10/2007, -12/+2All his movies seem the same. Just cause something is weird or different doesn't automatically make it good.
- VictoryGin, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12However, excellent dialog, beautiful cinematography, consistently perfect soundtracks, and refreshing originality does
- Omano, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Woot! Damn right!

- rhoul, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7I lived in Darjeeling for a month! I say that to make all jealous in your petty office lives. I rule.
- Boshow, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1How was the tea?
- daybreaker, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Wes Anderson is great, and I can not wait for this movie.
- NinjaPig, on 10/10/2007, -1/+13As an Indian, i have to say from what I saw in the trailer, this seems like the first honest look at Indian culture on film since Gandhi.
I'll be first in line. - fotd42, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3This and the new Cohen Brothers movie (No Country for Old Men) should make movies pretty good in the coming months.
- bigpappasmurf, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I can't wait. this is going to be awesome.
- meatmcguffin, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10The Royal Tenenbaums was the closest thing to an Arrested Development movie there will ever be :)
Go watch it. NOW. Go, go, go, go..... - gerrycurl, on 10/10/2007, -12/+3is anyone else tired of movies starring owen wilson? only movie he was good in was meet the parents, he was terrible in zoolander, wedding crashers, shanghai noon, and probably every other movie he made.
and i'm tired of this series, rushmore was good, but then the other movies that followed had the same dreary colors, music, and plotline.
i couldn't finish royal tanenbaums and even the trailer.- alexforcefive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6You're missing out! Try to watch the royal tenenbaums again, it's really touching. Owen Wilson is even good in it :p
- supermajic, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Owen Wilson only had a minor part in Royal Tenebaums. I find it quite bewildering that someone wouldn't be able to finish Royal Tenenbaums anyway. A simply amazing movie.
- burstaneurysm, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Give Bottle Rocket a shot.
- SerifTheRobot, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I have seriously considered naming a future son Eli, after Eli Cash in Tenenbaums.
- 0xbaadf00d, on 10/10/2007, -9/+3Any version out there that doesn't require Apple junkware?
- i3eeker, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcFBOsfoWxU
- tehbias, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I have a feeling this will be a return to form for Wes Anderson - (disappointed with 'Life Aquatic') - the KINK's songs are GREAT!! (I agree about Adrian Brody addition btw - I almost buy the fact that these three are brothers)
- Pete7872, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3how many times have you seen Life Aquatic? FIrst time i saw it i was not to impressed, but it's one of those movies for me that got better and better each time i watched it.
- supermajic, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I liked it quite a bit the first time (first Wes Anderson film I had seen) and liked it more the second time around. It is quite a slow film but the soundtrack was amazing and it was a rather deep film in comparison to Bottle Rocket and Rushmore.
Anyway, CANT ***** WAIT FOR THIS MOVIE.

- DanH, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1The second time I saw the life aquatic it really grew on me. I love it now.

- bodhibound, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0can't wait for the movie, from what little i can see of the trailer. but that's the pickle here--the trailer keeps stopping itself and not responding to anything i do. crap.
- robotplague, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8I love Wes Anderson and I can't wait for this movie. However, it never fails that once every few months I'll run across someone that absolutely 100% believes The Royal Tenenbaum's is the worst movie ever made. I hate people.
- SerifTheRobot, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Welcome to my dad.
- GorfTron, on 10/10/2007, -14/+3Wes Anderson makes boring, pretentious, unfunny movies. Yet Hollywood is convinced he is a genius. Wes Anderson and M. Night Shyamalan need be forbidden from making movies.
- Synn, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5You're so edgy.
- Boshow, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2I really liked M. Nights stuff. Unbreakable is one of my favorite movies. Very good imagery.
- DanH, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1...or maybe you just don't have a sense of humor?
- GorfTron, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Tennenbaums was his only good work. This is because great Gene Hackman decided to give the story a human heart - as opposed to the catatonic, eccentric zombies that he thinks we like so much.
- fiveoaks, on 10/10/2007, -6/+1This looks a little boring from what I saw. Hopefully it's because of the trailer and not the actual film.
- markross, on 10/10/2007, -8/+1It's all been downhill since Rushmore.
- 3lijah, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1This movie looks like it will be beautiful. Probably not as funny as his other stuff, but I think it will leave the audience with good energy. I am really looking forward to it, Owen Wilson is my hero.
- Kwisatz, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Here's hoping he listened to Steely Dan and maybe even included one of their songs in the soundtrack. http://www.steelydan.com/heywes.html
- jarinudom, on 03/31/2008, -0/+1I loved Owen Wilson's reply to Steely Dan's letter accusing him of ripping off one of their song titles for "You Me and Dupree"
http://www.steelydan.com/heyluke.html
Wilson: "I have never heard the song Cousin Dupree and I don't even know who this gentleman, Mr. Steely Dan, is. I hope this helps to clear things up and I can get back to concentrating on my new movie, Hey Nineteen."
- jarinudom, on 03/31/2008, -0/+1I loved Owen Wilson's reply to Steely Dan's letter accusing him of ripping off one of their song titles for "You Me and Dupree"
- coffeecrmnsuga, on 10/10/2007, -5/+0This movie looks boring.
- SerifTheRobot, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2IF you don't like Anderson, you will probably like Bad Boys II.
- adventchild08, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1This looks great.
- Danleykubrick, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5I hope everyone's seen Rushmore. It's the most smallest of his films, in it's scope, the most heartfelt, and the best. It's also the most real.
- billymonster, on 10/10/2007, -2/+0most smallest?
most buriedest. - mlevinq, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Rushmore is one of my all time favorite movies!
- billymonster, on 10/10/2007, -2/+0most smallest?
- rabidsquirrelOG, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I love this guy's movies. I'm looking forward to this one!
- cloudcity, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4The films Bottle Rocket and Rushmore are two of my all time favorites. I have enjoyed Wes's other work, but this looks like a return to his early style, which I really love.
Anyone else think Bottle Rocket is one of the funniest, saddest, and hopeful movies every made?- mlevinq, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Definitely. It's a great movie. You can see how much Wes and the Wilson brothers have been influenced by J.D. Salinger in Bottle Rocket. The dialog is so much like Salinger's.
- xenoploid, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Yep, as expected it looks great. Anderson is the real deal.
- mlevinq, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0I love Wes Anderson's movies! What a great cast he lined up for this latest movie of his. I love all of those actors. I can't wait to see this movie. I wish I could see the trailer. I hate that you need quicktime to watch trailers on apple's web site.
- flexmentallo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2This movie looks amazing. Wasn't a big fan of Life Aquatic, but this looks like it's going to be great.
- SerifTheRobot, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Wes Anderson + Owen Wilson + hot Indian girl = WIN!
- krunk4ever, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I found direct links to the HD trailers for download:
http://www.hd-trailers.net/preview.php?id=the_darjeeling_limited - aprupp, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0The death scenes in Anderson's last two films have been quite moving. I wonder if there will be a death scene in this movie. Also the new trailer for Batman The Dark Knight was released today http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWw0ov-cAUg . I wonder what Wes Anderson directing a Batman movie would be like. Jason Schwartzman as Batman?
