Not really. Just don;t start by ***** it up costume wise. I loved Transformers last summer. And X-Men and Spider-Man and Iron Man and Batman and so on. Hell, I even enjoyed the new Indy flick.
This is using my childhood purely for a cash grab. They know the people who played with GI Joes as a kid are now in their late 20s and early 30s with lots of expendable cash. Only they are changing the very things that made the series so great when we are younger. Most of the characters are not recognizable from their iconic beginnings. The very essence of their story, that they are American heroes, has been stripped out. Its a GI Joe movie in name only based on everything released so far.
