If you work 8 hrs or less that day you'll make at least 64 dollars. If you join the screen actors guild you'll make at least $130. After 8 hrs you make overtime which is almost always the case because film production = long hrs. This is my full time job and I've been doing it for 2 years... it pays the bills while I'm struggling with real auditions.

Wish they would take a cue from the batman flicks, invest in a plot, and trust in the intellect of the audience a bit more...

I did extra work for Paul Blart: Mall Cop. Got paid $112 (non-SAG) for about 7 hrs (was originally supposed to be 10-12. Only two hours of actual shooting, the rest was all of us in a waiting room just ***** and talking about movies. See: Jared Letto, Marlon Wayans, and (sorry) Jennifer Connoly in "Requiem for a Dream".

The best way is to contact one of the major ones in the LA area (or Vancouver, New York, or Miami). Pay is generally low, but the experience is great. I've been in 2 movies so far, even had a closeup in an Antonia Banderas movie in Tel Aviv.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hulk in The Avengers is gonna be played by a third different actor but expect Hulk to be one of the villains in Avengers.
