- ivanmarsh, on 07/13/2009, -3/+2215 Geek movies everyone has seen because there isn't the slightest thing obscure about a single one of them.

- inactive, on 07/13/2009, -0/+13no Real Genius with Val Kilmer??? Revenge of the Nerds?? WTF I thought we were naming best geek movies I'd put these two near the top.

- perrym, on 07/13/2009, -0/+12im liking the fact that Dark City seems to be getting recognized more and more in these 'best of' lists
- snurfle, on 07/13/2009, -0/+11Sneakers
- burningrobot, on 07/13/2009, -0/+10Not a bad list, but not quite long enough. Needs Revenge of the Nerds, maybe Weird Science or Real Genius too.
- TnTBass, on 07/13/2009, -1/+11Awesome troll. Good job.
- bookon, on 07/13/2009, -1/+102001 -- Not on list.
Sneakers -- Not on list.
Tron -- Not on list.
List -- Not relevant. - RobotKeaton, on 07/13/2009, -0/+9Evil Dead 2 is better than Army of Darkness. Just puttin' it out there.
And they probably should have put Weird Science on that list. - Lykil, on 07/13/2009, -0/+8No, not end of story. Watch as many geek movies as you can!
- ivanmarsh, on 07/13/2009, -1/+9Uh... so see Serenity. It was the perfect follow up to the series.
- dinosarefriends, on 07/13/2009, -0/+7nothing by Kubrick?
- oriondr, on 07/13/2009, -0/+6I was gonna say... No Real Genius? The hell?
- FXPooky, on 07/14/2009, -0/+6Primer is, like, a 15-hour long movie. 1 hour to watch it, 14 hours online trying to decipher what the hell you just watched.
- FOR3MAN, on 07/13/2009, -1/+7No wonder joints? This list lacks nerds!
- pinguz, on 07/13/2009, -0/+613th floor?

- Pirate45, on 07/13/2009, -0/+5Dugg for Repo Man. Also a great movie for fans of west coast punk rock.
- paperclipsNsoup, on 07/13/2009, -4/+9Buried for:
• Brazil - meh
• Shaun of the Dead - sucked
• Monty Python and the Holy Grail - meh - arotten, on 07/13/2009, -0/+5sneakers yo!
My name is my passport verify me. - Kisama, on 07/13/2009, -1/+6Both good movies, but not *geek* movies.
- jezsik, on 07/13/2009, -0/+5Big Trouble? Bah! Give me Buckaroo Banzai ANY day.
- silfiriel, on 07/13/2009, -1/+6t's not a movie but every geek should watch The Big bang Theory
- AYork, on 07/13/2009, -0/+5I just threw up a little.
I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt, though, and assume there was some obscure but outstanding movie called Twilight that I missed sometime in the 1990s. - zoethebitch, on 07/13/2009, -0/+5Not all obscure, but definitely an acquired taste. Everyone I know who's seen Monty Python and the Holy Grail thinks it's either absolute genius, or incredibly stupid. There is no middle ground.
Story from rehearsals for Spamalot (play based on Holy Grail):
The cast and director are doing read-throughs while the book is being written and rewritten.
Mike Nichols (director):: "After a week of rehearsals, I said to Hank [Azaria], 'Jesus, you know the whole French taunter part already!'."
Hank Azaria: "Mike, I've [known this speech] since I was 12."

- fitzal77, on 07/13/2009, -0/+4This is easily the best list that isn't a good list.
- brikj, on 07/13/2009, -1/+5π
- RiperSnifle, on 07/13/2009, -0/+4You probably thought Transformers 2 was brilliant.
- inactive, on 07/13/2009, -0/+4Real Genius, My Science Project, Weird Science = a terrific sunday in '88
- jezsik, on 07/13/2009, -0/+4I have to watch it four or five times? Dammit man, I have THINGS to do!
