- infra172, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2There is absolutely nothing wrong with downloading this. If its good, people will buy the DVD. Without internet downloads Family Guy would have been dead forever.
Internet Downloads -> DVD Sales -> $$$ - Rigbymatt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1industry exces just dont see that though
- hugo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Anyone feel like getting sued by Fox?
How about a little lawsuit action?
A short court appearance?
A $5,000 fine sound nice? Hmm?
Can't wait for the DVD? Too inpatient?
Willing to risk it? Huh?
Any takers? Anybody?

For the people who hate signing up. - pinc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Dude, that torrentspy goes straight to demonoid, you still have to sign up for a account... Just get a demonoid account, it's not hard.
- penguinix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Well just in case you guys feel bad about downloading this let me remind oyu that fox is part of comcast and comcast destroyed our beloved techTv. You should download this just to screw over comcast ^_^
- NoBatmanNo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Thank you!
I am defiantly getting this.... except there are only 2 seeders, so it will probably end up taking a long time. - tdaddy11, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Alllll riighhhhttt!!!!!
- logicalnoise, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I wish I could have just linked to a news article but there is no news story yet.
- frankiev, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Go ahead,tell more people.That's when the newbies f@ck it up.SSSSHHHHHHH!!!!!
- logicalnoise, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0almost forgot the quality is perfect.
- Leonaken, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Very Sweet, I'll be sure to download it (considering I'm bored as hell and just watching shoutcast TV (mainly Home Movies and Daria stations). This will be a good alternative.
- Mofo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I would be very careful downloading this, especially if you are in the US, this is exactly the thing that the Artists Rights and Theft Prevention Act was written for (unreleased content and the studio that produced it will definitely pursue it vigorously. Don't forget the penalties for this are a possible 3 years in federal prison.
- sgt_pepper, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0#1 on diggnation?
- furiouszebra, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Even though there are few seeders, I'm downloading really quickly.
- paintist, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Well screw fox, but you shouldn't be posting warez on digg.
- Leonaken, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What? Comcast owns FOX and brought down TechTV? POWER TO THE PEOPLE, DOWNLOAD TO FIGHT THE POWER!!
- cards, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Monthes? Registration required? I'm itchin to just make a dupe of this with decent spelling and a link to torrentspy...ugh. Digg :/
- Bostonsox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If your scared of people sued, you are a sissy. This still isn't allowed on Digg. Anyone seen the DVDR version around yet?
- EatenByAGrue, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I have two thoughts here...
One, it isn't even released yet. I agree, the MPAA have done a lot of stupid things that have, not unexpectedly, upset the tech world. But, regardless of arguements as to whether or not P2P/torrent/etc. is good or bad, trading in this sort of thing before its release will surely only be bad for the companies creating this stuff, which, in the long run, will be bad for us all. It may not be completed yet, placing its quality into question. Besides that, it works against any marketing plans they've come up with for it, and they'll remember that the next time us fans want them to bring back our favorite shows.
Second, was I the only one who read the digg from the other day about movie companies placing false torrents out to start gauging how to handle illegal torrent downloads? Downloading this one, I think, just might be playing with fire. YMMV - MikeMacMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Lets start the countdown until digg.com realizes this is on the front page and pulls it....
29....28....27..... - axemurderer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0all this anti-piracy talk over this movie is just crazy... think about it, if u wanted to buy the dvd, u will... if ur just gonna download it, u werent going to buy it anyway... maybe rent it... but in most cases people would just wait till a friend rents it.... besides, pirace has been around since the vcr came out, people were just more quiet about it. they would rent it and dub it... and the dubbed copies would be dubbed and so on... there is evedance proving that modern piracy techniques doesnt lower the sales of videos.... and if it does, WHO CARES!!! one less car for a rich person... who cares... and about getting sued.... dont use torrents dummys... there are other ways to download that are protected uner the 1995 internet privacy act... im such a rebel, im not even going to use spell check. so there.
- nicklinus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0the one @ torrent spy is real i just got it and now i am seeding! o and just in case u are woundering it is great quality! just like a DVD!
- logicalnoise, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0oh wait just saw my stats never mind it wa spulled but I still got the credit.
- logicalnoise, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0yeah looks like I wont get front page, oh well like I said if a news story existed for this yet I would have linked it. Oh well.
- logicalnoise, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this isn't fake and if they offered it themselves they leave themselves open for a huge gapping hole in any case they file, since they offered the real thing. Even if they offered a fake version you only downloaded random data not the actual copyrighted meterial.
- logicalnoise, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0sure people will download it and then buy the dvd. The dvd will have tons of extras that this little avi doesn't. for one seth macfarlanes and the cast's commentary(which were equally hilarious on the family guy box sets). The internet saved family guy and even when the first new episode of this seasn leaked two weeks ahead of time family guy still came back with huge ratings on fox. Look at battlestar gallatica. There's a show that was single handedly saved by internet downloads.
- jon360, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0logicalnoise, 1) Family Guy doesn't need the internet to save it. The internet didn't save it in the first place, it got back on the air after strong DVD sales. You can speculate that is because of internet downloads, but that sounds like bullsh*t to me.
2)People who download this will not buy the DVD for the extras, that's like buying an extra car for it's hub caps. And who says that people won't leak a Divx 6 file with all the extras intact.
You can justify screwing over Seth MacFarlane all you want, hopefully most fans out there won't. - mcspewak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Screw fox. Download this, and pay to go see Seth MacFarlane live in person.
- hugo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"If your scared of people sued, you are a sissy."
Maybe I am a sissy, but I am a sissy that won't be in jail and won't be $5,000 poorer. Maybe you still live with your mommy and you don't understand the value of a dollar. Or maybe you are just to dumb to realize that you can actually be sued or sentenced to prison.
Me, i will wait for the DVD and/or tv broadcast. - jon360, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0You're not screwing over just Fox, you're screwing over Seth MacFarlane and everyone who works on the show. Do you think that people who download this DVD quality file will turn around and buy the DVD? Yeah, suuuure they will.
- Racer_x124, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I remeber when a certian game was leaked so they moved back the release date and added a bunch of new cool stuff.
- FivePeice, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hey, i personally WOULD go out to buy the DVD not only for the special features but i would like to have the actual DVD to add to my collection (its not very big lol) It's the same for cd's for me as well i do download music but i usually will go out to buy the cd anywayz, just because it shows that u actually support the person who is making the moviie or CD ad also u get the artwork and everything along with it

Yes I do. Piracy doesn't really reduce sales. That has been shown over and over. I refuse to keep proving it.
On another note, I am scared about the 3 year prision sentence that comes with owning a movie before it is released. If someone would put it on yousendit or something or be willing to send it to me though messenger that would be great. It would keep me from leaching too. I would give the movie in hard copy form to a lot of other people to see. lamronba@gmail.com That is not my primary email account but I check it often. - PoedX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why Doesn't The Link To Torrent Spy Work?
Actually, not the link, just the file itself... - Racer_x124, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Im going to buy the DVD anyways,
I only see this fit! - TKDWILSON, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0By the way, I know of a site that had the full DVD iso on it. I just know a pirate put it there. You know that pirates often sail in from the bay.
Eric Wilson - TheNik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I wan't a DVD burner. The pain it is taking to ***** split the movie in two, turn it into a mpeg, then burn it to two VCDs. D:
