* As Boys Grow... (1957)
* Duck and Cover (1951) - ok Im not old enough to have seen this as a kid
* Molly Grows Up (1953) - I'm a dude, so I didnt see this, but Im guessing its hilarious - firehydra2k, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4Ugghh...google video is free anyways. What good is that if we can't own them?
- woxidu, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Since when does Google prevent you from downloading things from Google Video?

The Superman cartoons will be neat-- when I get to DL them. - TheBarge, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The couple ones I clicked on were hosted on Google Video. If you know the titles just search on there and find them.
- woxidu, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3You don't even need to search: Just click the google icon in the SWF, click "Go to Google Video" then click "Download for Mac/Windows" or whatever.

There is a (free) movie called "gayniggers from outerspace"?- sinisterkungfu, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1It's a norwegian (i think) film. It has nothing to do with homosexuals or black people if I remember correctly.
- TheBarge, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0274518/
- TheBarge, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15Haha here are some of the character names if you dont feel like reading the whole IMDB article:
* ArmInAss
* Capt. B. Dick
* Sgt. Shaved Balls
* The Gay Ambassador
(and no, I'm not kidding) - tdogg241, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5"It has nothing to do with homosexuals or black people if I remember correctly."
I think it also has something to do with space. - funkFlow, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Wikipedia says...
"The film's title may be a homage to Ed Wood, Jr.'s movie Plan 9 From Outer Space, whose working title was Grave Robbers From Outer Space or Grave Diggers From Outer Space."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gayniggers_From_Outer_Space
- mack1082, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8"gayniggers from outerspace"
of course the movie has nothing to do with homosexuals! With a cast of characters such as ArmInAss, Sgt. Shaved Balls, and The Gay Ambassador, who in world would call this movie gay.. - stappawho, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0Just because they are free doesn't make it awesome.
It's possible there are some hidden gems in there so I'll check it out, but lets not get carried away. - uhdean, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Free Iron Maiden concert from Donnington Castle! NICE!
- martinj88, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1There's some good films up there Metropolis, Nosferatu and Little Shop of Horrors
........well ok.....they are the "only" good films up there - nox327, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5"Peace, Propaganda & The Promised Land (2004)"
This is a good documentary. It's on google video too.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7828123714384920696&hl=en - Aiwanei, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Plan 9 from outer space has to be the ultimate Camp Sci-Fi movie. I suggest anyone who likes Science Fiction, to watch it and all it's badness.
- mightysquid, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I own it. It's awesome.
- antoniojvr, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Movies suck, but cool concerts!
- JonHs, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0NOTE! If the site goes down again use this mirror site:
http://www.jonhs.net/freemovies - Smeed, on 10/12/2007, -18/+1Lmao! No offence to anybody, gay or black but there is a movie called gayniggers from outerspace.
- FreeiPodGuy.com, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6No kidding. Huh. Read comments before posting much?
- H3BR3W, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Floyd, Doors, and Hendrix show? Digg.
- clubizarre, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Another site for public domain movies is www.archive.org. And all movies can be streamed or even downloaded in DVD format ready to burn. Here's Santa vs. the Martians:
http://www.archive.org/details/santa_claus_conquers_the_martians
The site isn't very intuitive to navigate, but you can always find something.- digitaldd, on 10/31/2007, -0/+2Archive.org has some great stuff in the classic cartoons section:
http://www.archive.org/details/classic_cartoons
also in feature films: http://www.archive.org/details/feature_films
cool thing is you can download and do what you want with the content, even make your own DVDs with them. Be forewarned if you really want any of this stuff on DVD you might as well buy it as sometimes the quality can be pretty poor.
- digitaldd, on 10/31/2007, -0/+2Archive.org has some great stuff in the classic cartoons section:
- jfujita, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Awsome. Some really great films are on the site. Thanks
- sparkles, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Sweet! That's a nice collection.
For those who want to download MPEGs to burn to DVD or VCDs, archive.org has a good subset of these and more.
Oops. Someone beat me to the archive thing. - sirber, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2390/
and download them :) - RoryQ, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Firefox extension that allows you to view the page using caches through Google, Msn, Yahoo, CoralCDN, and the Internet Archive.
http://digg.com/software/The_anti_digg_effect_Firefox_extension - hutectro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Very good i like it ----I collect old films thanks the web site
- Jaymoon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1http://www.archive.org/details/feature_films
- spidaman009, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Night of the Living Dead is on there. I liked the movie and it was groundbreaking for its time with a black man cast in the hero's role. It's George Romero's first entry in his quadrilogy which includes Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, and Land of the Dead. It's definitely worth a download.
- jferraro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Agreed. I would recommend the of the dead series to anyone. You don' t have to like zombies or horror to enjoy them because they cover topics bigger than most basic horror entries. Unfortunately for George poor knowledge of copyright law really burned him. Fortunately for you, you can enjoy this very important genre movie.
- dreamcaster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3OMG!!! They have Superman!!!!! So Dugg.
- hutectro, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Question ? How do i save the movies i downloaded the plug in now what ?
- xorian, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Aw man, Digg must've generated too much bandwidth, the website is down for me :(
- JonHs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I put up a mirror here:

- JonHs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I put up a mirror here:
- umbriago, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I think if you asked Warner Bros. if the copyright on "What's Opera, Doc?" has expired they'd probably say "No - who's calling?"
- iSEPIC, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It's not up to Warner Bros. when the copyright expires.
- neonplankton, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4One of the best finds here:
On the Edge of Blade Runner (2000)
"Mark Kermode charts how the film, Blade Runner came to influence films, television, feature films and define the future, charting the genesis of what is arguably one of the all time great sci-fi films from Philip K. Dick's 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?' to the Director's Cut. Features interviews with Ridley Scott, the cast and those who created the humid, sprawling metropolis, the documentary also features previously unseen footage and original special effects test footage and finally reveals the answer to the question whether Deckard is human or replicant." - mr_cheese28, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2They have Ed Wood movies, (for those that don't know who Ed Wood was just think of him as like Micheal Bay with a shoestring budget for films).
- ike9898, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why are these movies off copyright, when other movies of the same age aren't? Is it just that the former copyright owners neglected to renew their copyright when it expired?

Uh... What? - terrya64, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Walmart has a bunch of these same movies for $1.00 each. I bought a few a while back.

- terrya64, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I did notice a few movies that I know for a fact are not public domain, so I wonder how long this site be up?
- JonHs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4As said on the site: None of the movies, films, videos, cartoons and documentaries are hosted on this site. They are embedded from other sites such as Google Video, Dumpalink, iFilm, YouTube.
- ficklecycle, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0Dugg and bookmarked site!
- Buddhist, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Actually a lot of these are great classic films or cult films, such as Carnival of Souls, the Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, Dick Tracy, Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, The Great Train Robbery, His Girl Friday, The Little Shop of Horrors, The Phantom of the Opera, Reefer Madness, Sex Madness, Night of the Living Dead, Nosferatu. Some of the documentaries are good too, such as Orwell Rolls in His Grave, Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism, This is Coffee, & Salvador Dali - Genius. The cartoons are alright, such as Spirit of '43 with Donald Duck, Popeye, & Bugs Bunny. The concerts are one of the highlights of the page, imo. I mean, Hendrix, Maiden, the Doors, Pink Floyd, Queen, Nirvana, old SoAD, & RHCP?! Rawk. The comedy has a lot of good stuff too. Dane Cook, Dat Phan, Frank Caliendo, Russell Peters, Pablo Francisco, & Louis CK (KING!).
The Educational films are loltastic, though. 4tw. - bigredgpk, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Sweet, Perversion for Profit! now i can quit my IT helpdesk job!
- steve693, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I'm disappointed at the lack of Manos, Hands of Fate.

- JonnyTrombone, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0How is Fahrenheit 9/11 out of copyright? I doubt that all of these are really out of copyright.
- JonHs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5"Michael Moore approved the film to be downloaded onto computers, because of his need for the film to reach every potential American." (Source: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0361596/trivia)
- Luissifer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Movies from Luis Bunuel to download, that's good (although that's not exactly "entertainment").
