- chonuts, on 05/12/2008, -2/+170You can, you just have to make it rhyme and put an over-produced beat behind it.
- youtellme8, on 05/12/2008, -2/+129I saw the premier of this documentary. It was funny and incriminating of the FBI's action. On the other hand shouldn't our governments security forces be far more worried about bombs and such than some bongs, weed, and stoners?
- zombird, on 05/12/2008, -3/+77Put it on BitTorrent for free.
- Jenadae, on 05/12/2008, -3/+65Why cant you profit from a conviction? Sounds like complete ass-covering ***** to me...
- radiantstorm, on 05/12/2008, -4/+54OOOOPPS. Our police state is starting to show!
- galvo, on 05/12/2008, -5/+58The American Drug War: The Last White Hope is an amazing documentary. Check it out. +infinite diggs for that documentary.
- aidave, on 05/12/2008, -1/+38No, stopping terrorism and murderers, that is actually a tough job. It's far easier to arrest peaceful people who are doing no wrong.
- inactive, on 05/12/2008, -0/+35yes, yes they should
- wukillabee, on 05/12/2008, -15/+50***** THE FBI
- inactive, on 05/12/2008, -0/+25hahaha, i wish i could digg that one a thousand times.
- majordanger, on 05/12/2008, -2/+26They just yanked the Youtube video of Chong's interview also.

Remember to buy it when you can! - ErikHarrison, on 05/12/2008, -4/+25Yup, this govt. is as ***** up as it wants to be. They create their own reality based on their own perception. Believe it long enough and others will believe it too.
- inactive, on 05/12/2008, -6/+25FBI-Spelling America with a K since 1908
- aidave, on 05/12/2008, -0/+19Agreed, an excellent documentary. A more fitting title might have been the American Drug Inquisition. It's not really a war.
- Frozenpython, on 05/12/2008, -0/+17WOW! It couldn't have been put any better way than that.
- Barnolde, on 05/12/2008, -2/+21Glad they're concentrating on this real criminal and keeping America safe. It's not like there are cyclones or earthquakes going on in the world right now.
- Shuukyoku, on 05/12/2008, -0/+17You know, one of these days ol' Tommy isn't gonna be around for the Feds to screw with, so who they gonna go after next? I mean, seriously, Tommy Chong, its not like the man is a criminal mastermind, he's a 60 year old stoner with a movie. I'm underwhelmed that the FBI caught him.
- Shaman760, on 05/12/2008, -0/+15You want distribution? Send the video out to BitTorrent. We'll take care of it from that point on.
- inactive, on 05/12/2008, -2/+17Fascist Bureau of Investigation
- 47f0, on 05/12/2008, -7/+21You absolutely can profit from a conviction - all you have to be is a Republican Watergate criminal, then it's all good.
- painperdu, on 05/12/2008, -3/+18***** the police!
- kurtwinter, on 05/12/2008, -4/+21Hey Feds - why don't you stop bothering elderly stoners and find ***** Osama you incompetent pieces of *****.
- dafragsta, on 05/12/2008, -2/+16If Jeffrey Dalmer wanted to write a book, I don't think it would've been our place to stop him. A lot could've been learned about that guy and others, had they written books.
- bjstiktrix, on 05/12/2008, -2/+15Leave that guy alone!!
- rrasco, on 05/12/2008, -1/+12Neo-Con America.
- sublimemm, on 05/12/2008, -2/+14oh god another "obligatory" comment
- michaelGregoire, on 05/12/2008, -1/+13Kevin Mitnick profited from his crimes.
- DeepFriedFetus, on 05/12/2008, -4/+14There must be a ton of stoners in the FBI.
- twiztidsinz, on 05/12/2008, -2/+11TEEEERRRROOORIST!!!!
No no.. its not a bomb its just a bong! - inactive, on 05/12/2008, -0/+10It's available via torrent. Grabbed.
- CSHYDRASHOK, on 05/12/2008, -0/+10What the police road blocks didnt show that we live in a police state?
When i was a young kid and i saw The Hunt For Red October and Alic Baldwin said to the captain of the russian sub that he could travel around the United States with no road block/checkpoints I felt good that i lived in such a nice country, now that im older i am ashamed to be an American - ChildeRoland420, on 05/12/2008, -0/+10They're not, but that hardly matters to the people in charge.
- LogicBomB, on 05/12/2008, -0/+9Esaun - Nobody doing anything to themselves hurts others. If I take heroin, how exactly does that effect you? If I decide for myself that I need to steal to support a habbit then throw my ass in jail for theft, not drug use.
Drug use is something people need help with, not something they should be arrested for. - rrasco, on 05/12/2008, -0/+8Also agreed. That documentary was the best I've seen and brings to light a topic--just like many others--that most American's are oblivious to.
- rrasco, on 05/12/2008, -0/+8The title is not false, its misleading as to why the FBI may have been there, but it is in no way a false title because they did in fact confiscate the documentaries.
- galvo, on 05/12/2008, -0/+9Seriously. Great documentary though. Very fair.
My mother still wouldn't believe a thing :-P She'd be like that one prison officer, the old guy, who said you had to "step over bodies" while walking the streets of Amsterdam. I love how they go to Amsterdam right after him saying that, only to show a gorgeous city with a ton of culture and hardly any troubled drug addicts. They find ONE addicted crack user, and even he has more sense in him than some of the people I meet here in the U.S. - inactive, on 05/12/2008, -6/+16well since the tapes were stored in a lab that was being raided because they make detox products, AND another nearby lab was raided, i dont think the feds were going for the tapes. as to why the took them, im not sure. since the tapes werent sold yet they cant be making him any profit, so.....
- inactive, on 05/12/2008, -1/+11What is this country turning into?
- yunus, on 05/12/2008, -1/+9Way to go FBI. Confiscating a movie and telling people they can't see it is a sure fire way to make it a #1 hit in popularity. The more you deny people access to something the more they want it and bittorrent will feed our desire.
- NeoCortex, on 05/12/2008, -0/+8It would be more profitable if you're acquitted. Then you can just write about how you "would" have done it.
- Hetman, on 05/12/2008, -2/+13I think it is wrong but the title of the artice is false. They were going after detoxification products. I do not see how detoxifiying your body would be illegal but that is a different story. Anyone interested in a great movie about state rights and marijuna should see superhigh me. It was reallly good.
- Barnolde, on 05/12/2008, -0/+7The money they're wasting on this could be better spent.
Hell, repaving a road would be a better use of the money. - serif69, on 05/12/2008, -2/+10FTA: "The fact that another company which doesn't sell the dvds was also busted seems to indicate that it may be primarily related to detoxification products."
Hey! There should be no logic allowed in an article related to the struggle between stoners and cops! - twiztidsinz, on 05/12/2008, -0/+9I don't think the FBI can stop cyclones and earthquakes..
- rspeed, on 05/12/2008, -2/+9They're allowed to write books, they're just not allowed to make a profit off of a book (or any other work) which relates to the conviction. If they write a book and donate all of the profits to charity they're covered.
- VitriolAndAngst, on 05/12/2008, -0/+7No, the FBI should be far more worried about Chong's movie. What, you think this is about them PROTECTING US? Yeah, I hear about 100,000 die of prescription drugs, and it isn't farfetched to say nobody died from Marijuana -- so, exactly why are we accidentally shooting so many people in the WoD?
- inactive, on 05/12/2008, -0/+7yep. you sure are...
- jvittetoe, on 05/12/2008, -0/+7you're comparing murder to weed?
- protoopus, on 05/12/2008, -0/+8i didn't realize 'detox products' were illegal.
