I consider the first one my all time favorite comic book movie, and the second one looks just as amazing. Truly these are far superior than the Xmen, Spider Man, Blade, 300s and Sin Citys combined. Im beyond excited to see Hellboy II.

Not like I wasn't going to see it anyway, though. - rodrigo74, on 06/28/2008, -0/+3I always wonder why the first movie was not that popular here in Europe, it surely was much better than the adaptations of Spider-Man, X-Men etc. Pretty much everyone I ask have not seen the first Hellboy, and usually didn´t hear about it either. The movie was great, for old Hellboy fans and newcomers alike.

Now, however, I'm getting pretty excited--Even if it is a little over the top weirder than the last film, if this scene is anything to go by, it'll more than make up for it in humor.

And as far as I could tell didn't have any major undertones to go for or against religion. Have you seen the first one or are you basing this all off the fact that the main character looks like a devil?
