That's a new one for me. Find something more recent and maybe I'll take a look. Perhaps you could also find one that doesn't take up 7 pages.

But the overwhelming goodness of the Smurf way of life transformed her. And as for the whole gang-bang scenario, it just couldn't happen. Smurfs are asexual. They don't even have... reproductive organs under those little, white pants. It's just so illogical, you know, about being a Smurf. You know, what's the point of living... if you don't have a dick?

The director's cut totally gutted the soul of the movie with those stupid little book excerpts trying to spell out every thing that happened at every step of the way. It's totally true, this movie (the original cut) was a total lucky fluke for Kelly. In the commentary (on the original DVD) he is constantly saying how he never meant for the movie to be ambiguous.

    Also, when you hear him talk, it's striking how he sounds like a frat-boy who doesn't have the intelligence to INTENTIONALLY create something as haunting as the original cut. It's kind of like - even HE doesn't know how he did it.

    A very rare case where a decent movie, butchered by (arbitrary) studio interference as a result became a great movie.

    Maybe the movie was inspired by an alien consciousness which directed the hands of those involved to create the movie IT wanted ...

    It's called "S. Darko", named after Samantha, Donnie's little sister. The role will be played by the same actress (Daveigh Chase) that played her in the first.

The only change they made that improved it, was taking out the hand on that weird snake-like thing that projects out of Donnie's chest. Everything else should have stayed the same.
