  • Jerryrad, on 07/07/2009, -0/+19The way I envision this is 2 movie screens side by side (with a bit of empty space in the middle) and a giant ***** lever sticking out of the side. Every 10 seconds or so, some guy will jump up and pull the lever down to advance to the next slide.

    Next they're going to acquire the rights to the Dumpster trademark so they can make a movie about evil trash bins from space.

    Young Sherlock Holmes was an original story based on one of the most famous literary characters of the past 150 years. (and also was the first film to feature a fully CGI character. Yes, I am a nerd for sharing that)

    This movie will be based on a childrens toy from 20 years ago. And of all the toys to make a movie out of... I don't get it. It would be like making a movie 20 years from now based on the ipod nano.

    Someone please explain to me what an "Amblin-style movie" means.

    "Amblin-style movie" means that it will mainly be aimed at kids, while trying to get the whole family involved but without the thought, care and attention that Steven Spielberg would actually give to a movie..

    Toys used to be made durable, meant to last, unlike today's crap. The market's flooded with ViewMasters Toys of today will be the toys work a killing in 20 years because none of the crap today will last.
