- Moshcrates, on 02/05/2008, -0/+34Holy god...I don't know which is more shocking..Norbit being nominated for an Oscar or that someone wasted their time ripping it...
- fudsak, on 02/05/2008, -0/+11I was expecting estimated number of pirated downloads or something. This is just a matrix of movies and dates of pirated releases. Still interesting though.

- RetroEvolute, on 02/05/2008, -0/+5Was anyone else hoping for a chart?
- AmusedToDeath, on 02/05/2008, -1/+6I wish the studios would pay attention to this and realize what it means. Their customers want day and date DVD/internet releasing. If they would give people a legal way to see films at home at the same time they can see them in theaters, these numbers would be irrelevant, and the studios would be making a lot more money. Sure some people will still steal - they always have and always will. But most people (me included) would pay a reasonable price to be able to watch a film the way they want, when they want.
- bmarc, on 02/05/2008, -2/+7Someone in charge of the screener for "Pan's Labyrinth" screwed up real good.
- hilo4321, on 02/05/2008, -1/+6they cant do it that way because it would KILL the movie theaters, sure people would still go for the experience, but for the same price as a rental and at home with multiple people, movie theaters would go out of business in a snap
- MorbenDK, on 02/05/2008, -0/+4Its amazing how many of those were actually leaked from the screener copies--- apparently the MPAA has some suicidal tendencies.
- AmusedToDeath, on 02/05/2008, -0/+4Well, I like going out to the movies as much as anyone, but the prices have become so high ($40 for a family trip to the movies) I really can't afford it anymore. And I'm firmly in the middle class, so I'd say I'm in the majority. The business IS changing. They have the opportunity now to get ahead of the curve, instead of be eaten by it like the music industry.
Movie theaters are going to become a niche market for enthusiasts - I'm sorry, but that's just inevitable. Many theaters are already going out of business because of lack of attendance. I just don't want the same thing to happen to the studios too. - inactive, on 02/05/2008, -1/+4Hey that Oscar is a perfect surrogate for MrBabyMan's penis, maybe he'll stop spamming the digg front page now
- kurby, on 02/05/2008, -0/+3I got one thing out of this...
If the internet pirates a movie it gets nominated for an Oscar. - wild, on 02/05/2008, -1/+3No, people want FREE day and date internet releasing.
- hilo4321, on 02/05/2008, -1/+3how about putting up the actual link next time?
- EarlOfLade, on 02/05/2008, -0/+2Now, if only the movie industry had allowed me to download these movies legally for a reasonable price and in a format that was not crippled and allowed me to enjoy the movie on any device I chose to, I would line your pockets with my hard earned money...
Until that happens, I will either wait for the movie to become available on the net or wait for it to be shown on HBO or a similar movie channel. Too bad the industry is willing to lose so much money because they don't understand their consumers. - lnlogauge, on 02/05/2008, -0/+1I'd like to know where the author gets his torrents. Some of the screener release dates listed lack accuracy in my opinion.
- noots, on 02/05/2008, -1/+2people will always complain about the price being too high, because they can get it for free.

learn to internet or just read the imdb.com boards before you come and call me a "pc gamer" who just downloads *****, you *****.
By the way, I do download movies because they are dubbed here in my country and I dont watched dubbed movies. When they come out on DVD i do buy them. I buy over 200 Dvdmovies/series a year. - macbth, on 02/05/2008, -1/+2They have not reactivated this site yet - the best for Oscar's torrents

You must be the PC gamer who pirate games to see if they like it and claim to buy the real version but they skip over the fact that they can download the demo.
- GrammarNazi3000, on 02/05/2008, -0/+0I don't see Snakes on a Plane. :-(

- Ninjao, on 02/05/2008, -3/+1A lot of the times Indy and even some "big" hollywood productions have their screeners leaked by the director himself/herself. And a lot of the time they even thank the people who pirated their work, because a lot of the time the pirates go out and buy the DVD's of the stuff they pirated.
- SaintDogbert, on 02/05/2008, -11/+4Nom'd? I can has Oscar? Nom nom nom.
