- rocknog, on 07/21/2009, -0/+8Creepy kids in horror movies is an overdone cliche, in my opinion. Yeah, it does work from time to time, but Jesus, it's gotten to the point where if I see a creepy kid in trailer, I automatically write the movie off as having no creative ideas whatsoever.
- RobotBuddha, on 07/21/2009, -0/+6Sadly, what's not overdone is kids actually acting like kids. Hollywood seems to think kids are either brain damaged, or professional comedians. There's seldom a middle ground where kids in the real world actually occupy. It's like they just can't conceive that children are actually humans, with all the range which comes from being a part of our species.

Yes, the kids were emotionally overboard all the time, didn't know what they were doing, latched on the adults around them, and were annoying. But that's how kids are!
