I know that the host is in the same circle of friends as KRose, Yoshi, and Robert Heren. Does anyone know the story behind these guys?

- aponce16, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Come on, commandN is made by people that have connections with TV people already. Amber and Mike belong to the Leo Laporte G4, TechTV crowd. This people are not amateur vidcast creators like the many others out there. Normal every day guys (or gals) can not compete with people that work professionally on TV. (like Mike and Amber) They wanna give the show a home made look but trust me, Amber and Mike have way more resources and technology than most of the hard working folks that really want to put original ideas out there.
Amber and Mike are just setting themselves in a market until they can either sell the idea of the show to a network or find a way to integrate the show as a segment during one of Leo Laporte's shows. Wait and see. - riverbump, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0One of the best pods out there:} keep it up River.

Lately lol...dude this is the net, people are on it cause they're bored, lonely, dumb, studing, clowning, trolling, etc. Respect others opinions or troll, thats all up to you when ever you log on.
I try to respect others but if a topic is brought up and I have an opinion guess what...I'm going to give it.
I think commandN is a great show but just not for me and the dudes voice is so Jim Henssen hehe

- ajtait, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I actually like "parts" of this show. Actually I like most of it, except when Amber has her brother do segments with a crappy old iSight. The tech content is not deep enough for what I think the target market for IPTV is. I do like how they encoded the shows in H.264 and give a nice wrap up of what happened this week in tech, But I already hear about this week in tech from (this is a shocker) This Week In Tech.

It's kinda like diggnation, but with a chick and less "dude" which I think could be a good thing if they found better stuff to talk about. ;)

(I think Leo got the wrong impression last time they had a female on the show. He said everyone was mad about it, but it was just THAT female that was annoying, I think most people would enjoy having Amber on the show.)

And i dont give a ***** about how nice a site looks like, you minimalistic biased google and apple fanboys.
