- bobcrotch, on 01/03/2008, -1/+45Christian Bale is one of the great actors of our time.
- TheMangler, on 01/03/2008, -6/+37Terminator will rule once again. Let us all enjoy T4 and pretend that T3 never happened.
- inactive, on 01/03/2008, -0/+28Best news I've heard since they found a cure for aids.
- MattnJax, on 01/03/2008, -2/+29As a huge fan of the Terminator franchise, this ***** rocks!!!
- KRNpro, on 01/03/2008, -1/+28Seriously. Does this guy EVER do a bad job acting?
- ness0013, on 01/03/2008, -2/+26Christian Bale is outstanding.
- illt, on 01/03/2008, -0/+17you mean james cameron.
- NorrisTwithman, on 01/03/2008, -0/+13Empire Strikes Back not better than New Hope? Digg's asking me if I'm human to verify this reply, how did you pass?
The only possible way Empire Strikes Back could get better would be if they put Christian Bale in it. - vdog, on 01/03/2008, -0/+12Aliens.
- Derelict267, on 01/03/2008, -2/+14Arnold can't do it. He's too busy being CA governor. His acting days are long gone.
- Mariachi94, on 01/03/2008, -4/+15Back to the Future part II. Empire Strikes Back. Spider-Man 2.
- phong, on 01/03/2008, -0/+11Christian Bale is one badass. He could single handedly save the franchise.
- JapaneseEconomy, on 01/03/2008, -0/+11There's a Metal Gear Solid movie rumour with Christian Bale as well... just google it. But here's a pic to wet your tastebuds
http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/2034/christianb ... - wukillabee, on 01/03/2008, -9/+19Terminator 2 is probably the only sequel thats better than the first movie..
- jayfarer, on 01/03/2008, -1/+9Christian Bale has good taste; If he signs on, then it has to be, at least, a good promising script.
- AncientWeird, on 01/03/2008, -3/+11Would you see 1 Bale 1 Cup?
- greenriver572, on 01/03/2008, -0/+8please don't suck. please don't suck. please don't suck.
- PerfectMac, on 01/03/2008, -1/+9i wonder if "he'll be back" or not. i think arnold should make a cameo
- DrunkenSavior, on 01/03/2008, -0/+7Strike that, reverse it.
Also, X2 was much better than X-Men. - hanginginthere, on 01/03/2008, -1/+8I'm excited that Christan Bale is [possibly] in the movie, but the fact that Arnold isn't kinda sucks.
- Konrad9, on 01/03/2008, -2/+9He'll be "reprising" the role of John Connor?
Uh... - marx2k, on 01/03/2008, -7/+13Well, for one, it was awful
- verynegative, on 01/03/2008, -0/+6Id say no terminator movie is complete without linda hamilton. They shouldnt have killed her that way.
- hollyminkowski, on 01/03/2008, -2/+8But Arnold is a little long in the tooth to play the terminator again.
Geriatric Terminator..... - imran7, on 01/03/2008, -0/+6apparently he will have a 30 sec cameo
- offput, on 01/03/2008, -9/+15I enjoyed T3. Why does every one seem to hate it so?
- imbob, on 01/03/2008, -1/+7FOR KALIFORNIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
- inactive, on 01/03/2008, -0/+6Christian Bale didn't "reboot" Batman. The writers, director, and producers of the new trilogy made great films by putting together a great project from the bottom up. The series has been revived well on film because passionate and talented people were willing to risk allot of money and dedicate allot of time before any actors came into the equation. Hiring a talented actor for the lead was just one small (if vital) piece of a larger project that Christian Bale is not responsible for. I don't mean to minimize his great performance, but he could have given a great performance in a film with a terrible script and a terrible director and the movie would have been *****.
- mtdaugherty, on 01/03/2008, -2/+7If he reboots the franchise like he did batman, we're in for a treat.
- dafragsta, on 01/03/2008, -0/+5Except that the description sucks. How can he be reprising the role of John Connor. He never played him.
- Fourbin, on 01/03/2008, -1/+6I can't wait to see the follow up they've already planned which is entitled "Terminator: Redemption, the Fall of Yesterday Tomorrow While Forever Ends" going to be sick.
- MOJIRA, on 05/17/2008, -0/+5It was mildly entertaining, you know, like Deal or No Deal, but certainly not a GOOD movie. T1 and T2 were great movies.
- jpt62089, on 01/03/2008, -0/+5Sounds like an opinion to me...
- MOJIRA, on 05/17/2008, -0/+5Lame. They should scan his body and digitize it, then hire WETA to use it for the terminator army since he's one of the first humanoid models designed to 'infiltrate'.
- skunks, on 01/03/2008, -1/+6Meh, so some producer refuses to confirm or deny that Batman will be in the next Terminator movie. Of course he's gonna refuse to comment, he's fueling speculation just to get some free publicity off of the Batman marketing juggernaut. 10 bux says Christian Bale hasn't even talked to that guy.
- Antha, on 01/03/2008, -0/+5I've never seen bad acting come from him.
Besides that, I want to lick him from head to toe. I wonder if he tastes as good as he acts? - bloodwings, on 01/03/2008, -1/+5old news like 2 months ago.
- DivisibleByZero, on 01/03/2008, -0/+4T4 will pound the franchise further into the ground. Vegas should start taking odds on whether or not T4 or the TV series will suck more. Having seen the pilot for the series, T4 has some mighty big shoes to fill.
- JapaneseEconomy, on 01/03/2008, -0/+4Or American Psycho
- Sep11insidejob, on 01/03/2008, -0/+4If he's the one from the Machinist then for sure!
- inactive, on 01/03/2008, -0/+3Bale is such a fanboy. :)
Shaft, Batman, Terminator. - simpleid, on 01/03/2008, -0/+3wow.
- Ndiggnation, on 01/03/2008, -0/+3Or just keep sending terminators back to every point in time to kill John Connor until one of them gets it right?
- CaptainNoPants, on 01/03/2008, -0/+3hated T1? Never heard anyone that liked T2 say that. T3 was just meh. I should have waited to see it on dvd. It wasn't worth the 8 bucks.
- SpringBoy, on 01/03/2008, -0/+3No, I believe that really is grammatically incorrect as I believe "reprise" means to "take back" or "reclaim" something - which explains why it is usually used when actors take on a role for a second time. Since Bale never had the part he cannot reprise it. The correct way of saying this would be have been "he will be assuming the role of John Connor" or something similar, such as "taking on".
But then, why am I worrying about the grammar on digg? :) - bjs3171, on 01/03/2008, -0/+3X2
- marx2k, on 01/03/2008, -1/+4What did you just say?
- Sep11insidejob, on 01/03/2008, -1/+4I could not disagree more as The Terminator was a sci-fi masterpiece.
- oldhick, on 01/03/2008, -0/+3How is it possible to hate T1? Please help me to understand this. It actually had a true gritty feel. T2 and T3 were like the family friendly Spielberg versions...
