- starfisch, on 08/23/2008, -1/+86Harley Quinn is obsessively in love with him, it only makes sense.
- inactive, on 08/23/2008, -5/+56Harley Quinn looks hot in an emo sort of way.
- SirChavez, on 08/23/2008, -2/+53Dugg for The Doctor (David Tennant) as the Riddler. Awesome actor.
- jmpeagle, on 08/22/2008, -5/+32I really don't know how they can top the most recent movie. You've already had a movie who wanted to pretty much destroy Gotham for the good of mankind and another pretty much for the hell of it/prove a point. What could they possibly do next that's even more epic? They could go the Die Hard route and expand (building -> airport -> NYC -> entire U.S.) but that would lose much of the batman feel as he is usually concerned with matter confined to Gotham. The villains in 1 and 2 both aimed to create panic in their unique ways, what's the 3rd villain going to do?
- TheWriteGuy, on 08/23/2008, -1/+29"However, it just doesn't logically make sense to have Harley if Joker is locked up, does it?"
Harley was a therapist at Arkham Asylum, who grew to sympathize with and fall in love with the Joker. She helped him escape. That's the original origin story for the character as conceived by her creator, Paul Dini. - MrAlexanderZ, on 08/23/2008, -4/+30David Tennant as the Riddler looks incredibly plausible...
- postmodernpilot, on 08/23/2008, -2/+22David Tennent would be an amazing riddler in my opinion! I really enjoy everything he has been in!
- Moskie, on 08/22/2008, -3/+18Who says they even have to go bigger or "more epic"?
I think the trick with the next movie is to do something more personal for Batman/Bruce Wayne. This is one reason I love the theory that the Riddler was introduced in TDK as a guy who figures out who Batman is. With that information, he could really do something that strikes at a very personal level for Batman/Bruce Wayne.... - DismantleRepair, on 08/22/2008, -20/+35Looks too much like Ledger's Joker.
- inactive, on 08/23/2008, -2/+16Harley Quinn is pretty good but not the right setting for the riddler. IMO
- dedmond29, on 08/23/2008, -3/+17For the love of God, no Catwoman in a cat-like Batman suit
- NumbersAndNoise, on 08/23/2008, -0/+14The middle design for Harley is passable, but the Riddler looks like *****. Way too over the top, and too close to the comic for anything in Nolan's Batman, not scary. If they do go with the Riddler, the Zodiac killer vibe that they had in that other fanmade poster that turned up seems like a much better choice.
- inactive, on 08/23/2008, -11/+20Buried for "Check This Out".
- AoiTakuma, on 08/23/2008, -0/+10At first glance it looked like batgirl to me.
- sugarazor, on 08/23/2008, -0/+11Have you seen her on Heroes? She plays deranged quite well.
- sugarazor, on 08/23/2008, -1/+12People said no one could ever top Nicholson's Joker... look how that turned out. There are a lot of talented actors who could pull that role off, they'd just have to make it their own.
- hobgobbler, on 08/23/2008, -0/+9I want to see the dude with the puppet that shoots people with a tommy gun
- KingGorilla, on 08/23/2008, -0/+8That's right Mistah Jay!
- firebirdx01, on 08/23/2008, -1/+9Harley Quinn as a psychopathic worshiper of a dead/missing Joker would fit in with Bruce Timm's Quinn.
She could take up the Joker mantle, and team up with a darker serial-killer Riddler and that'd be a decent premise to me. - firebirdx01, on 08/23/2008, -1/+11That is a cool Harley Quinn outfit- the face paint/scars are dead on
- harrison5394, on 08/23/2008, -1/+8Impressive, most impressive.
- LucerinRed, on 08/23/2008, -0/+7Tennant is a ***** brilliant actor. He was freaking Hamlet in a Royal Shakespeare Company production. with Patrick Stewart as Claudius. He could easily handle the darkness.

- HerbertWest, on 08/23/2008, -0/+7lol
- deepthought21, on 08/23/2008, -2/+9This blew my mind. David Tennant as the Riddler?!?! Absolutely awesome idea. I only hope WB catches wind of this...
- JasonQG, on 08/23/2008, -5/+11Kristen Bell would be one of the only things that could make the next Batman movie better than The Dark Knight. I bet she would be brilliant.
- dweeb79, on 08/23/2008, -1/+5I didn't force Raimi to do anything and how is that bad if Bane breaks his back? Bane is a great character and as I remember so was Venom. It's not my fault Raimi used a ***** script and overloaded the film. I'm guessing it's also my fault for Superman fighting a giant rock in Superman Returns.
- ShadowPhoenix11, on 08/23/2008, -8/+14Nobody can ever come close to filling Heath Ledger's role as the Joker.
- jawdog, on 08/23/2008, -0/+5How about James Spader as Riddler? All they need to do is not let the Riddler be silly. Just make him autistic or something.
- AManWithNoName, on 08/23/2008, -0/+5I think you're probably on the right track. I think the next (And probably final) of the Nolan Batmans could involve the Riddler and Harley doing something that would force Bruce to reveal himself as the Batman.
Although I disagree still that the guy who knew Batman's identity would turn out to be the Riddler...It was a bit role played by a nobody actor in TDK, and the character was way too meek to do anything like become a criminal. - quidpro, on 08/23/2008, -1/+3You don't even need to wait for Hollywood to destroy this series, fan art will do it in no time. Someone pass me more crackers for all this cheese.
- Apocalyptic0n3, on 08/23/2008, -1/+5I have said this numerous times... Paul Bettany needs to be The Riddler. I wanted him as The Joker but he couldn't have topped Ledger. But Ledger's former castmate would be awesome as the Riddler. The wickedness and cruelty he shows in The Da Vince Code and the humor and wit he portrays in A Knight's Tale? Yes, please.
- dweeb79, on 08/23/2008, -1/+3Bane will be introduced and break his back.
- enzobot24, on 08/23/2008, -1/+5Someone needs to do a Crispin Glover poster - he'd make an awesome Riddler.
- inactive, on 08/23/2008, -0/+4Um, yeah. Look at Star Wars as one of the most successful sets of sequels upon sequels (upon prequels).
- LucerinRed, on 08/23/2008, -0/+3Incredibly ***** wicked as well.
- sugarazor, on 08/23/2008, -0/+3But the beauty of The Joker is he's whatever he wants to be. They played up the whole "multiple choice" backstory from The Killing Joke, so it wouldn't be too out there to just let someone new just run with the role and do it their way.
- Halsfield, on 08/23/2008, -2/+7harley is an old char, maybe you're too young ?
- indieguitar, on 08/23/2008, -0/+3Ooooh yes! The Ventriloquist and Scarface could definitely be awesome.

Well, what you say may be true, but take into consideration that Katie Holmes was playing a love interest, and not really a major character. Ledger's Joker, on the other hand, is a major villain second in importance only to Batman himself. Additionally, there had been a major marketing blitz that features him. One may be able to slip in Maggie Gyllenhaal without a problem, but people are definitely going to noticed a different Joker.
I suppose it also helps that everyone knows Heath Ledger is dead. - tbenathan, on 08/23/2008, -0/+2Cobie Smulders as Wonder Woman? Sign me up.
